It is pretty cute and is in a great location. It is definitely older - the windows would not stay up, which made for a crabby boyfriend since there was no AC, and it got up in the 80s a couple of days. A few things are outdated (like the giant red hot tub in the room, lol), but it had a fireplace and a comfy bed. My main complaint was that we stayed for a week and there is no turndown service at all. There was sand building up everywhere, and we needed towels, so I called and asked that they clean the room. They weren't thrilled about it, but they did it and appreciated it.

The room was nice but needed some more cleaning. The jetted tub was warm but had to clean before using and it made the room muggy would be nice to add a ceiling fan

We were in the beachcomber and had ants in our room. we put doughnuts on the counter and hundreds of ants got to them within an hour of us checking in. There were ants all over throughout our stay. The fridge also froze our food. We are also pretty sure there was sand in our bed before we got there. The staff was really nice, but I think they need to be a little more on top of changing bedding and caulking areas ants are getting in- we could see exactly where they were coming from.

Google
Explorer Room- upon entry it looked ok-Staff was friendly|Here we go-1 of the 2 facing ocean "view" windows was full of condensation, so no view through it. Leaking shower head that sounded like a creek at times, which echoed through out the small, high vaulted ceiling room. The shower curtain was 2" too short, so the bathroom floor is wet constantly. It splashed far beyond the bath mat. Visible dust and cobwebs. Small TV plus DVD player, only local channels available, which explained the seriously out dated DVD collection in the foyer as you walk in. Worn out remotes, no reaction to buttons for volume. Visible soap/scum line around the lower portion of the "romantic" jetted tub.|Ditches on either side of the bed with an island of non-compressed mattress in the center(visible through comforter). Sugar ants and Silverfish bugs in counter and in jetted tub. We asked the guy working for Terro traps or anything he would have for bugs. His reply was we have an extermination service. Well, it isn't working because there are Sugar ants and Silverfish on the counter and actively moving around in tub.|2 stars given is because the location is primo.

We were excited for this room... When showing up to our room we quickly relized it had not been cleaned or not really cleaned. Long black hair in the shower, bath room, flooring and the tub... The spa tub itself was dirty full of grime... Then we discovered the ants all over the counter.. Spent some time cleaning the room so we could relax.. Finally when we arrived it smelt like marijuana we both do not smoke. When checking out i did say something to tbe front desk person. Her reply was she would talk to housekeeping... Nothing else.. Sad because we really loved the location.

I usually stay in Cannon Beach and wanted to stay in a different town. The Inn has four buildings and I reserved the second floor Starseeker room in the North Building. The room has a sleeping nook with curtains and a queen sized captains bed. You also find a jacuzzi tub, a living room with a sleeper sofa, and a round table with chairs. The table was uneven and wobbly and needs to be repaired. The garbage can under the sink next to the fridge was full of smelly garbage. The door to the small balcony would not stay closed and would blow open with a strong gust of wind. The Inn has books and board games for the guests. Located near the end of Laneda Ave. near Carmel Ave. and next to the visitors center in Manzanita. The front desk did take care of the garbage, and I mentioned the table issue. The Inn offers free Wi-Fi, but no USB ports in the room. The Inn does need some renovations, but is in a good location with beautiful grounds.

We live locally and booked a room last minute as our floors were being redone. The employee stated his card machine wasn’t working and asked if we would pay cash. We had the cash, so we paid cash. He never asked our names, never gave us a receipt, told us we could check out as late as 2pm and sent us on our way. Now that we are home and I can think about the situation, it’s a bit questionable! The room had ants, super low quality everything and housekeeping came into the room just after 11am. Would never stay there again or recommend. Feels like we paid some dude a couple hundred dollars to pocket. Just a weird experience in a very outdated hotel.

Google
Good place with nice clean rooms. Would have been a great experience if we weren't after hours I guess. Hotel left the wrong key in the lockbox they had open. Walked in on other guests as a result and had to troubleshoot that issue on our own as they didn't answer their after hours phone.

Yelp
Sad to say, but the manager at this place is so disrespectful and downright rude I wont be returning. This would have been my fifth stay, but when I called to ask why I was being charged $10 extra per night then what was on the website "R.J" basically barked at me "the website is being updated" then hung up on me. Mind you, he called me at the Children's Hospital where I was working on Oncology!!! I called back and asked why he hung up on me, that I was a returning visitor and the manager R.J Whittle was still so rude! I've spent a lot of money here over the years and this is totally unacceptable. I think they did this my last stay and the website still isn't undated which leaves me to believe he is pocketing the extra $20.00! 1star for service

Yelp
The good: Location near the beach. Our room had an ocean view. The bad: Noise. Conversation from adjoining room. No elevators! Small cramped space . Torn shabby curtains. Tiny bathroom. Useless hot tub. Dated furniture and amenities. Generally uncomfortable. No maid service.

Mary S.

Yelp
I'm sorry, I tried to like this place, I gave them several chances. It looks super cute online -and it is, but for what they charge/service-HELL NO! After a stressful trip out, travel was unexpected but ETA was on time. Yet way before we were anywhere near late, a manager called complaining/demanding when we were arriving. He said Quote"I have kid things to do." WHAT!?!Im paying you bro!?!! I arrived early and he was not prepared. But had a hard time parking. And the whole presentation was awful. The TV didn't work and the place was stuffy. I do not recommend this place. Very disappointing. I almost want to ask for my money back.

Alisha M.

Yelp
Our new vacation spot. Thank you for the most cosy, quaint, beautiful experience. I never met the management team but they made it so easy for us to check in and out. The rooms have their own jetted tub. You can take DVD's up to your room from the downstairs foyer area. The people in Manzanita are so so nice. So friendly. Local eateries are close by. We kept our patio door open and listened to the ocean sounds all night long. Super impressed with how thorough they were about cleanliness too! I couldn't recommend it enough!

Yelp
I was very disappointed with The Inn at Manzanita. After a long drive from Seattle, WA I was ready to relax for a bit and catch some TV before going to my event. I am recovering from surgery so help with my bag would have been nice as well. I arrived before 4pm which is the posted check-in but was told no. I asked if there was any way to do my room next as there was no one waiting and NO to that as well. The office man finally showed me to my room but did not ask to help with my luggage. I finally settled and turned on the TV. It didn't work. I called and spoke to the office man and he said that it worked when he was just there. I said will you please come up and show me how it works? NO he said he had to call the cable company. (it was 5pm by now) Not a check back - nothing. Needless to say, the TV never worked and he would not help me at all. I have several friends who are residents in Manzanita and could have stayed with them but was looking forward to a nice room. Oh did I mention the sink was clogged up? I can stay at Motel 6 for better than this experience. Patricia O'Brien Seattle, WA

Yelp
I was rather disappointed in the cleanliness of our room. Cobwebs behind the bed and corner by dresser, the dust ruffle was very dusty, looks like it hadn't been washed in quite sometime. Husband looked under the bed before we left, good thing I didn't, and said there was a lot of dirt and crumbs under it. Definitely not worth what they're asking.

Winbigpig X.

Yelp
A friend recommended the Inn, but clearly this was based on an experience of the long gone past. I will say right off that the space was very clean and conveniently located. But unfortunately for me the Inn had a pervasive down at the heel feeling - many things in need of updating, including non-smart TV flat screens, worn furnishings i.e., small table & chairs, apartment size fridge that ran frequently and an ancient jacuzzi tub that I'm certain isn't used much at all. I was really wanting a comfortable easy chair to sit and read or knit. The broken communal ice machine was a significant disappointment. Understandably everything in lodging has gone sky high in recent years but this establishment is charging more than what is delivered and is failing to do improvements as customers will expect. I am relieved that I didn't purchase their saver package before an initial stay. On the positive side the gas fireplace did effectively take the chill off my early April stay and the bed was comfy enough but these pluses aren't enough for me to return. Another issue is for me was the lack of staff presence - in fact the day I checked in I went to ask a question of the staff but there was no one to be found at 4.54p. Oh well there are other fish in the sea in terms of lodging in Manzanita.

Yelp
We stayed here for 3 nights in July and seriously considered leaving after 1 night. The Inn was a huge disappoinment. our room was on the 3rd floor (no elevator) which may have been OK if there had been a decent view. we had a lot of luggage as we were on an extended trip. The advertised 'spectacular' view disappeared as soon as you sat down on the tiny uncomfortable balcony - then we were just looking at a roof in close proximity. The furniture is old, tired and beat up. The bathroom is tiny and very dark. The captains bed is just a dark hole in the wall as is the in room (not in bathroom) jacuzzi tub. The fireplace is just an electric fake flame effect (no heat). Overall the room didn't feel at all clean and many of the amenities were missing or broken. e.g. 1 fork, 1 wine glass. Another guest told me that they had been coming to The Inn for many years and it had gone so far downhill that they wouldn't be returning. Neither will we. Perhaps the most uncomfortable hotel I've ever stayed in. We will be returning to Manzanita however, we loved it. Major props to The Winery at Manzanita and The Offshore Grill. The market in town is amazing.

Mary Lou R.

Yelp
This is our place at the beach. Owners are often on site and it's a very refreshing change from the hotel chains. So, nice rooms, very close to the beach, really nice management. The hotel has a refreshing quirkinesses - lots of different styles of rooms, all super clean, and comfy, right downtown within reach of everything you want. The setting is lovely. Ok if Shiloh is what makes you happy this isn't your place but if a small, locally owned and operated hotel with thoughtful touches you need to try this- we love it, the people, the setting and the rooms.

Adam M.

Yelp
I used to love this place, but sadly it has fallen into disrepair. It makes me sad, but I can't recommend it any longer.

Lisa S.

Yelp
I almost hate to tell you how great this inn is because it will be harder to get a reservation if everyone comes here. One tiny block from a fabulous beach. Super quiet. Like a tiny apartment. I could LIVE in this darling room! Clean and comfy. Family vacation....perfection

Patti K.

Yelp
We stayed in the Whale Watcher room, and from the pictures I expected well, a worn-out hotel room. Actually, the room was really clean and the sheets were super soft, and the bed was extremely comfortable. One block from the beach doesn't suck at all. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and even stayed longer after check in to chat with us about recommended spots to try (he knew we had been to Manzanita before) that were new to us. We felt really welcomed, and enjoyed every bit of our stay.

Danny H.

Yelp
Stayed June 16 - 18 (shortly after reopening for Coronavirus) and really enjoyed it. Just wanted to give some props to our guy RJ who was very communicative and came out immediately to replace a mini fridge that wasn't working. Super nice guy. The room itself was pretty cozy and we used the Jacuzzi both nights and it was delightful. Bed was very comfortable. One block to the beach is great. The town of Manzanita itself is delightful and exactly what we were looking for - much more chill than Cannon Beach. Yes - room could use some updating. TV is about 20 inches but that's not what I came to the Oregon Coast for. I don't think you can really go wrong here if you're visiting Manzanita. The lookout hike north of town was fantastic as well.

Xibee M.

Yelp
This place cuts corners in all the wrong ways. There was a water view from our corner room balcony, but it vanishes the moment you sit down. You're looking at a roof. The "fireplace" isn't even an electric heater, it's....basically a fancy atmosphere lamp. There is NO TV except the basic channels Zzzzz There is a microwave TWO FLIGHTS DOWNSTAIRS IN THE HALLWAY, not in your room. If I wanted to zap a hot pocket I'd have to put clothes back on and possibly be seen by other guests. Who decided this was a proper solution? I think this bugs me the most because it just seems so penny-pinching chintzy. Take out the fake fireplace and plug in a microwave and a countertop. No wheelchair access to our place.... maybe other rooms are? Pluses: YES IT IS VERY CLOSE TO BEACH. It's very clean, good bed, nice linens, accepts dogs, has minifridge. Oh and has DVD player if you remember what those are. Has in-room (not in bathroom) jacuzzi type tub. I'm not a whiney millennial, I'm 62, and these lacking items are something they should sort out. $160/night was too much for so many things (that really should be standard nowadays) not being available.

Chris E.

Yelp
This was an awesome location for our trip! The bed was super comfy, and located in a very cute alcove. The jacuzzi tub was a nice feature, and the room was exceptionally clean. Friendly staff, and a great location. I would definitely stay here again!

Marko M.

Yelp
I hate to have to leave such a negative review of of a spot that USED to be one of my favorite places to stay on the Oregon coast. I have been going to this hotel for over twenty years and two wives with what used to be a great time. I haven't been there for a while due to moving out of state but now that I'm back I find that it has gone straight downhill. I called to arrange a couple of midweek nights to get away from it all with my girlfriend and encountered a very rude older man who refused to even discuss a reservation and abruptly hung up on me. Its sad when a former favorite goes bad. I would recommend some of the many bed and breakfasts on the coast and leave this spot off your list. I don't need to pay top dollar for rude service and a mouthy individual - if I wanted mouthy I'd have stayed with the wife! Avoid if at all possible!!!

Lesley R.

Yelp
(We stayed here one night on one of our honeymoons. We had a couple. : ) I liked it! We went for our honeymoon and it was a cozy place. Quaint, right by the ocean, fairly private balcony, hot tub, little fridge, private bathroom, prices were not bad, donut shop right across the street. It is not a high end B&B, but I did not want a high end B&B, either. THIS is what I wanted. I would definitely go again. Manzanita, OR is definitely better than some of the other little towns in that area for how quiet it is and that it is not a "tourist trap".

Sean N.

Yelp
It is a great place to stay and our room was wonderful. HOWEVER we noticed the cleaning crew doing the rooms UNMASKED, in spite of a "masks required" sign for all guests in hallways. I wrote about this to the management after we returned home and received no reply. Since one of us is immunocompromised and therefore effectively non-vaccinated, we will NOT be returning to the inn.

Char H.

Yelp
We have stayed at this Inn many times and really wished we could be there this Memorial Day weekend HOWEVER our last stay there will surely be our last!! We have said that a couple of times but then went back again last summer and unfortunately this property is over the top PRO pet friendly that they have forgotten to give kindness and consideration to those of us that would rather have a happy romantic time away from home without dogs, cats, birds, snakes etc etc!! YES THEY ALLOW ALL PETS AND VARMIT!! They "Do not discriminate against any creatures" !! Last trip there I ended up with flea bites from the room that had a flea infested animal which stayed in the room!! We had pet hair in the bedding!! AND upon waking I needed to go outside to grab something in our car a HUGE BLACK CAT was outside in our hall and jumped at me, ran into our room and promptly jumped in our bed which I had laid out the days clothing!!!! The guy running the desk told me that the cat was with a guest that was in the room down our hall!!! Don't waste your money and precious time away at this place!! You might as well go stay at a kennel boarding facility!! Such a shame that The Inn at Manzanita has deteriorated into a big flea and tick infested, pet hair mess of a place. They have lost their luster and are losing business from travelers that just want a nice CLEAN AND QUIET EXPERIENCE!! Oh and did I mention the constant barking down the hall from the people that went out but left the dog alone in the room?

Helen T.

Yelp
Super cute and cozy hotel just a short jot from the beach. The service was really great, the desk guy was nice and helpful. They have movies you can grab from the lobby, which was nice because one evening of our stay was rainy and we were exhausted from a long hike. The decor is very classic rustic beach house, it wasn't modern or sleek, but I actually really liked that as it made it feel cozy.

Wenden G.

Yelp
Loved this place! Clean, tidy and perfectly located on the main road a block off the beach. Gotta love a pet friendly place like this with the best pizza in town right across the street and the wild surf sounds and view from your very own deck. We'll be back

amy b.

Yelp
Wonderful pet friendly lodging in the gorgeous coastal town of Manzanita. The Cottage Room was spacious and comfortable - one bedroom and a pull out couch plus kitchen. Wifi was spotty and the location was a bit noisy - lots of delivery trucks idle in the side street starting at about 5:30am, as well as some voices from the tavern patio until just after midnight. Luckily we were super tired from driving! One block from the beach and right on the thick of the little town.

Jeffrey G.

Yelp
It's clean, friendly, and VERY close to the beach! It was adequate, but I can't say we loved it. The room we had advertised a view, in fact we paid extra for it. The view was weak - technically you could see about 10 feet of ocean, but not worth the extra money. There was also a lot of street noise, both late at night from the bar next door, and early in the morning from the coffee shop across the street. Adding to the noise factor, the walls are paper thin and the floors are cheap laminate, so you hear everything your neighbors are doing. If you are looking for quiet, this is not the place. There are also an inordinate number of little laminated signs that make it feel kinda tacky. The jacuzzi tub was nice, but again, so many rules!

Marianne M.

Yelp
Rooms have hot tub, balcony and fireplaces but don't let this fool you into thinking it is a nice place. My room was extremely small and so dark I couldn't read in it. Towels are threadbare and no way can you get them replenished. The room has not been touched since the 70's and is in desperate need of modernization. It did seem clean but the management uses COVID as a reason to not give a minimum of customer service.

Emilie S.

Yelp
Wonderful little place. Cozy. Helpful, onsite staff. Clean. Lovely grounds. Super close to the water (though- everything is in Manzanita). Most rooms are very quiet, private. If you're worried about that, I suggest you stay in a room that isn't right on the main drag. VERY reasonable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Tomorrow maybe...

A S.

Yelp
Decided to take an overnight retreat to Manzanita with my wife and chose the Inn at Manzanita. The staff at the Inn were super helpful from the very start. They helped us book a romantic room with a nice woodstove and spa tub that had a private deck and a view of the ocean. They were knowledgeable about things to do in the area, and when we arrived they walked us through the room and showed us how to operate all of the different features of the room. All around simply a kind and welcoming atmosphere! Room wasn't cheap, but that's to be expected for a great location in a great little town!

LuLu E.

Yelp
This was a lovely spot just a block from the beach and right in the middle of the main street with all the shops and grub. The staff was very accommodating, let us check in early and we love that they accept dogs and we have a total of three. The charge for a pet was 15.00 and that is a flat fee, so was especially appealing to us. We had a decent view and the room was comfortable and spotless. We will stay again when coming through.

Cheryl H.

Yelp
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday in January. What a perfect place for a romantic weekend at the coast! We stayed in the Explorer Room in the main building. The big bed was comfortable and warm. The fireplace was wonderful after chilly walks on the beach. We LOVED the Jacuzzi tub, which was also nice after those chilly walks (note that they don't allow use of the tub after a certain hour because it is noisy and disturbs the other guests; this restriction wasn't a problem for us, however). The bathroom included fluffy towels and robes. The kitchenette had a tiny fridge and some basic stuff like two water glasses, two wine glasses, and two mugs. We also had a small table and two chairs, and a TV. The little balcony had a partial view of the ocean. The beach is a mere two-minute walk away, which was fantastic. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here!

Tyler W.

Yelp
Came down to Manzanita on a whim and decided to try the Inn, we didn't have a reservation but thought we might find a spot on a Tuesday in late August. Charlie the manager was very welcoming and told us he had space. We didn't even have to leave a CC# number to reserve the room...very cool. We stayed in the Cottage Inn which was a stand alone unit just off the main bldg. The unit was very clean and provided ample space for a small family (one bedroom with a hide abed in the living room). The main attraction inside was the jet tub, but it was nice to sit on the porch and drink our hot beverage of choice. There is no view in this room, unless you enjoy looking across at the token Mexican restaurant in the town but the beach is less than a block away.As mentioned, this unit overlooks the main street in Manzanita, so I can see it that it could be a bit noisy on a weekend, but we live in a metro area so any noise that was heard was normal for us. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back the next time we pass through this sleepy little spot on the side of the road.

Suzanne K.

Yelp
We were in town for a wedding and stayed at the Inn. Loved it. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The room was so charming with a fireplace and a jacuzzi in the room (bow Chica wow wow) Just steps away from the ocean and restaurants. Great parking just for guests. It was so crowded sin the area that, it was a luxury to park. I am already dreaming of a return trip!

J R.

Yelp
Very nice to accommodate our family last minute on Christmas Day! We stayed in the penthouse for one night. It was clean and very big. 3 bedrooms downstairs, 2 living areas upstairs, kind of a great room, nice large kitchen. No decks or balconies. You had to go through one of the bathrooms to get to the master. Plenty of towels and pillows. Coffee hot cocoa and tea were supplied, and plenty of dishes. Close to the beach and a nice coffee shop right across the street with pastries.

Spence W.

Yelp
A classic Inn on one of the best stretches of beach on the North Oregon coast. Most of the rooms have great ocean views (or at least sounds). Located one block from the beach. Quiet and romantic. Not the place for unreconstructed California hedonists. We have stayed in all four buildings at this point and there are charms to all. The Main and the North Building have the best ocean views. The Manzanita and the Cottage buildings most resemble places one would rent around here.

Rachael L.

Yelp
Pretty disappointed when I walked in to the room to see the "good view of the ocean" not even close to the view that I was thinking. The price was WAY too much for the little to no view. Room was well kept though. If you stay in Manzanita and want a nice view of the ocean, don't stay in the Explorer Room at this Inn.

A B.

Yelp
Really disappointed. While the location is ideal, what I paid for the Penthouse Suite was too much for what I got. No dressers/drawers for clothes in the bedrooms, other than master. Only two hangers provided. When I asked about the drawer situation I was told most people "just live out of their suitcase." At +/-$500 I should not expect to live out of my bag. No screens on the windows so flies buzzing around all the time. I will stay at the Coastal Cabins from now on, they are luxurious and worth every penny. Too bad Inn at Manzanita we tried!

Sarah C.

Yelp
I had a sour taste about this place upon arrival, which was late but shouldn't have been a problem because I called first to let them know ahead of time. The weather was great and we were surfing down the road. Upon pulling up we were greeted with a snotty additude and the management even went so far to suggest that this was not a place to party. I had to inform him that I was over the age of 35 and enjoying a quiet weekend get away from the kid. I loved the idea of a hot tub in the room but there were too many rules to enjoy it properly without making me feel like a sneaky teenager. Overall the setting and the grounds are lovely but unless you booked it on your Anne Gedess calendar to curl up with the Bridges of Madison county, you might want to look elsewhere because 1989 called and said they want their decor and Enya soundtrack back.

Stanley T.

Yelp
I'm sitting in a room at The Inn at Manzanita as I'm writing this review, thanks to a free, strong Wi-Fi signal. My first time staying here - won't be my last. Great location - gorgeous grounds - friendly staff. Two of the buildings (5 rooms in all) are pet friendly. Our room (Laneda) is so comfortable. The town is incredible - but that's another story.

Sarah O.

Yelp
Manzanita is one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon, in my opinion and one of my favorite destinations, so we thought we would try the Inn at Manzanita for a romantic weekend. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff is welcoming and the bed was super comfy..however, there were a few things that bothered us..the celilings are very low and you can hear the people above you very clearly..at all hours:( You can also hear the jet tubs in the rooms next to you so loudly that they limit the time you can use it to 10 pm.. The fireplace has a loud timer that is quite distracting as well, and it shuts off after an hour(really?) We thought we booked a partial view room online but, alas, there wasnt a view of the ocean from our room (The Beachcomber) but that could be our own mistake. The deck was also described as "private" but it wasnt private at all, being 3 feet from another "private" deck. The Inn was charming and had a very "funky Oregon Coast" thing going on but the decor was seriously lacking and the noise of the guests upstairs, and the clicking fireplace timer, along with no way to prepare any food, no counterspace, no closets at all, and a stained carpet(first thing i saw), I dont feel it was worth the money we paid for 2 nights(over $260). With a little love and attention and a few updates, this place would be gorgeous. I havent had the pleasure of renting the bigger more expensive rooms, maybe they are cleaner with more ammenities? I feel they should spend a little more time on a few easy things to make it a bit nicer and worth the money.

Yelp
My family and I are in LOVE with the Inn at Manzanita. We go at least twice a year: once with the whole fam (kiddo and all) and we have heaps of fun. Our family family friendly room is the Cottage Room -- perfect for fun and games, cooking (it has a full kitchen) but has a separate bedroom for us once we're ready to break away for the night. Our son says it's the best hide-a-bed in the universe (we travel a lot and he complains of beds often so this is a big plus for us). My husband and I also make sure to go at least a night or two per year alone. So romantic! We pick a different room every time so we will eventually get to stay in all of them. So far, we've been lucky enough to stay in seven different rooms (see, we love this place!). We love the rooms with the cozy captain beds -- those are so cool, and have a fondness for the Lanada room! I think all rooms have Jaccuzi tubs -- at least all that we've stayed in before. Love them!! We have also stayed in the Penthouse twice with friends and family (it has three bedrooms, a huge kitchen, dining area, large tv in a living room with cozy couches, etc.) and we love it! I would spend a whole summer in that room if I could. The staff at the Inn at Manzanita is amazing! They are kind and accommodating and wonderful! My son loves them and because we go there frequently enough they know him by name, which is super sweet. The beach is just a few steps away and we love to build sandcastles there, fly our kites and just have a wonderful time. I think I'm going to go book another stay there now -- we haven't been there in about five months and it feels far too long.

Yelp
It was a good, affordable place to stay for our anniversary, the room was in pretty good shape, a nice location in Manzanita just a quick walk to the beach, the balcony was nice with the partial ocean view, and the guy who let us check in early was super nice. However, we aren't sure if we'll be back for the following reasons: * The bed was way, way too soft. Our backs hurt by the morning. Maybe we're just getting old. A mattress upgrade is definitely in order to attract more folks for a romantic getaway. * We were in the Mariner room and every step the people upstairs took we could hear as the floors creaked above us. And when they got up at 5:30am and started gabbing? We could hear that too. * Our room had a hot tub in it which was more like an oversized bathtub as there were no temperature settings and there was one area which you should not sit near as you'll get sucked into the wall of the tub (ouch!) Plus they have a sign up that says "do not fill it up any higher than the jets, which is about 6-8" high, so we sat in it not fully immersed in water sooo....not very romantic. And a smaller thing was that we did rent one of the two dog-friendly room, but there was nothing dog-welcoming like most places have (i.e., bowl for water/food, etc.). In the future these little things would be nice to have. Wondering if the good rooms are the non-dog rooms based on some of the five star reviews?

Yelp
We stayed here for one night. The location is about a block off of the beach. We had an ocean view room - which means that, yes, you can see the ocean but it is obstructed by other buildings. We had a private balcony, large jet tub and a double sided gas fireplace. Room was clean, quiet and roomy. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend the location to anyone visiting the town. As for location, the Inn is across the street from a cafe and a pizza restaurant. Just down one block there is a sports pub and a handful of more food options as you travel away from the beach. The town is very quaint - nothing is far from anything else. We had a great time and look forward to visiting again. Only negatives I can list is that on the night we were there the cable tv was not working nor was the wifi internet - I assume these were both related.

Yelp
Such a sweet spot in a darling town. Within minutes of arriving at the Inn I extended my stay. Fireplace, huge jacuzzi, beach and ocean view (and sound), balcony, comfy bed, super friendly staff, awesome yoga studio practically next door, wonderful cafes and restaurants in strolling distance, free wi-fi..... what more could you want?

Yelp
Very nice, comfortable, accomodating rooms, super~close to the water; Even heard the ocean as I drifted into sleep. Yes, the jaccuzi was fantastic and clean. Not too expensive at all. Good overall feng~shui of room angle and set up, with accompanying small deck for fresh air and listening to the night in this relaxing little town. Check out is at 11a.m., with more than enough wake ~ up time to make coffee with the, yes, WORKING coffee maker, unlike other places I've stayed in this town. Will absolutely stay here again when in town. : )

Yelp
I write this as I sit on the balcony of the Woodsman room. The view is spectacular and we woke up to the sound of the pounding surf. It does not get better than this. The owners have thought of everything. We bought cheese and crackers and wine in Tillimock for our cocktail hour but forgot a corkscrew or anything to cut up the cheese. No problem, they had a cutting board and sharp knife on the wet bar. They also had a corkscrew and nice wine glasses for us to use. The terrycloth robes were the finishing touch. We were planning on staying only one night but have now scheduled a second night here instead of moving up the coast. I would recommend this wonderful place to anyone and everyone. Your blood pressure will drop 15 points instantly.

Yelp
I love this place!!! My wife and I just married 10/16/16 and I brought her down here between 11/4-11/7 for a Mini Honeymoon. We were introduced to this place a couple years ago by the in-laws and after this last experience we know for sure that this will be a once a year trip at-least. I am a big fan of escaping the hustle and bustle of the big city (Seattle) to relax in the best way possible. The rooms are clean, the Jacuzzi tub is wonderful, the fireplace is the cherry on the top. Our view was good enough for us, the most important thing to me is RELAXING and this hit the spot. The gentleman that manages the property (John) is by far one of the most pleasurable people that I have met, very very kind and nice with a very friendly servitude that is hard to find these days. Way to run this place you guys, we loved it and love you. See you soon :)

Yelp
For a funky little beach town trying to be more that it actually is The Inn @ Manzanita is nice little get away. No it is not The Green Gables in Pacific Grove, Ca or Deetjens in Big Sur, Ca but for what it is and where it is at the Inn is a quaint little place. The room are comfortable with fire places and large baths. It's a stone throw from the beach and a coffee house. The walk though the town is quite nice. Compared to other strange places I've been along the Oregon coast this is one of the better places. The staff is nice, if not very helpful. If you are arriving late, you'll have to pick your key up from a lock box. As mentioned before, Funky, but it works. The high light is that this the rooms would be a road warriors dream. Small table for two. coffee, tea and hot chocolate on the wet bar. Coffee pot and electric kettle. Comfortable Queen size bed. Deck to each room. Free WiFi, tones of DVD's and tapes to view. jacuzzi tub. Inexpensive prices. For what you get and what one pays it is worth it. If your looking for a full service Hotel as Madeline P. is after this isn't the place. But if your looking for a nice, comfortable Inn that is a stone throws away from the beach in the middle of town then this is the place to be. I'd go back myself. It is one of the best Inns and towns I've been in Oregon and I've been all over this state.

Yelp
I have mixed thoughts about this place. Much to love, the grounds and architecture are lovely. Unfortunately, the skylight above our bed started leaking at 6:00 am. When we mentioned this, we barely got an apology. Not sure I would stay here again.

Yelp
We are back tonight for our second stay at the Inn. We love it here. The rooms are SO CLEAN! Wonderful place to stay if you love people watching, clean rooms, great amenities, location, location, and location. We love it and hope to come back. My only wish was a bottle of champagne for our anniversary, after all we did stay here for our honeymoon. We will be back!

Yelp
this is a great place. i stayed here several times last summer while house hunting. it was almost always last minute and rushed, and they were completely professional and accommodating and helpful. i'd stay again but we ended up moving here.

Yelp
Excellent value for the money. We have stayed at the Inn at Manzanita about seven times now. Last year we took advantage of the frequent customer offer of a flat fee of $600 for three weekends, one in each of three seasons, The management is always very friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable (admittedly, we always stay in the Explorer room because of the locaiton and decor), the mini-fridge and wet bar are good to have, the bed is comfy, and we love the jaccuzzi after a long day of beach walks or hiking. The small deck is nice, especially in the summer, and the fireplace makes it nice and cozy on those cold nights. The inn is beachy/funky, and definitely not for those seeking a five star resort experience. But we'll keep going back because of the location, the staff and the nice experience. Don't miss the San Dune Pub (how could you??) or Vino when you are in Manzanita. And we usually order carry-out pizza from Marzano's. Great little town, great little inn.
