Beautiful inn! Everything was perfect for a visit to Sonoma. The location was great, just steps away from the main square where there are nice restaurants and shops. Our room was beautiful, the bed and pillows were so comfortable, shower was excellent and the area was quiet. It was wonderful having a gas fireplace which warmed up the room quickly.||The breakfast that was included was not expansive, but had more than enough to choose from, including a variety of fresh fruit, yogurt options, bagels, cereals and the staff was attentive and replenishing as needed. Later in the afternoon, wine and small bites were available. So nice to relax and talk with other guests. The staff was wonderful, including Charlene, who took the time to show us the property and to our room. Outstanding hospitality!

I stayed at the Sonoma Inn, a Four Sisters property, for five nights, and it was truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding. Gianna at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable, making check-in effortless and helping set the tone for a wonderful stay. The daily breakfast was phenomenal—freshly made each morning with a great variety of options, all absolutely delicious. Housekeeping was attentive and consistent, keeping everything spotless and comfortable throughout my stay. A special touch I loved was the complimentary freshly baked cookies available throughout the day—warm, delicious, and such a thoughtful perk. On-site parking was easy and stress-free, with plenty of space and no issues at all. Overall, the Sonoma Inn delivers exceptional service, comfort, and charm in the heart of wine country. If you’re visiting Sonoma, this is hands down the BEST place to stay. I can’t wait to return!

Service was excellent. The team is very attentive. The breakfast is delicious. The renovations are nice but surface. The building shows it's age in it's plumbing and hallway carpeting. The faucets were a chore to work with. The bed was noisy but comfortable. The cleaning crew did not do a great job.

The entire stay was absolutely fabulous! Room was spacious, clean and my brother would like to know where he could get the same mattress! Loved the fireplace and it's location is in a spot where we could both enjoy it from our own bed. Breakfast was incredibly delicious, perfect variety, and comparable to any high quality restaurant-the eggs benedict were amazing! Staff ready to help and with a smile. I won't even consider another location-I will return.

Warm and welcoming! Clean and meticulous! Comfortable and cozy! All of the things you’re looking for when staying in Sonoma. Close proximity to the square, where there is shopping, food and plenty of tasting rooms. Close drive to many wineries. Front desk staff was wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast in the morning was always delicious and the happy hour from 5-6 was something we looked forward to. Our favorite was the fireplace in the room for the cool October mornings and evenings. We really hope to return to this lovely place!

The front desk staff were extremely helpful during our stay. They provided dining suggestions, maps, and helped with getting access to the EV charger. Our room was very comfortable. Alty.hough we did not use the patio, it was nice to be able to open the sliding door for fresh air and natural light. It felt very private. We enjoyed the wine and cheese and cookies in the afternoon and the breakfast included a variety of options.

Had a fantastic experience and highly recommend. We had excellent service via texts and emails prior to our visit and customer service was even better in person. The Inn at Sonoma conveniently located in downtown Sonoma and a short walk to the square and many restaurants. Every employee at the Inn was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Katelynn, Giana and Brian were the very best! The daily breakfasts and happy hours were excellent. The Inn itself was very quaint and the rooms were so clean and comfortable. Don't forget to ask about the complimentary bikes, it's a great way to get out and explore. We can't wait to go back!

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Inn and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The breakfast was wonderful. Every morning there was a hot selection as well as freshly made sweet bread/muffins along with a choice of bread and fruit, juice and great coffee. The afternoon wine and cheese was gourmet quality and presented in an inviting manner. I purchased the cookbook on display and have already made two of the recipes which came out perfect. A very nice souvenir of a great trip.

What a small quaint spot! The staff was very nice and allowed us to check in early, offered us breakfast and took very good care of us. Very well laid out rooms and bonus happy hour with wine and cheese and charcuterie. Easy walk to Sonoma square which was perfect for us. I recommend this location for sure!

Lovely idea - Bed and breakfast but they fell a little short. The cons are listed first since they overshadowed the pros: Cons: We endured extremely loud pounding due to major construction ("floor replacement") directly above our room (#5) the morning after we checked in. No notification of this scheduled work prior to or during check in was provided. After notifying the front desk of the unbearable noise the manager offered to move us to another room during the day (when construction would be occurring) then back to our room at night. WHAT?! Who does that? If you had another room move the guests to the other room. At a bare minimum notify guests of major construction beforehand, and no later than at check-in - them give them realistic options. Hotel advertises wine and cheese daily which they did but its actually 1-hour wine tastings with low-pressure sales by the surrounding wineries who bring their wine to the hotel to host the tastings. Not exactly what was advertised or what we were expecting. It would be nice to offer wine and cheese then have tastings at different times. The breakfast was decent but not many offerings. The breakfast area was small and people often lined up to use the 1 toaster. Suggest adding another toaster or moving the bread and toaster to the other side where juice and water are located. Beds need new pillows and cases. We had white pillow cases on one side of the bed and off-white ones on the other. Some pillows were also very lumpy. Jacuzzi had dirty scum on the circumference of the wall above the water. C'mon guys its the only wet area, and this could be scrubbed lightly with a brush to remove. The rooms are close together and every time a door closed it slammed loudly. At these prices you could add noise reduction doors. Staff and management didn't seem genuinely friendly but they did manage occasional smiles. Housekeeping staff spoke limited English so it was a chore when a request was made. Pros: Boutique hotel, good wine, breakfast was fresh daily, orange juice was fresh daily, sheets and towels were clean and fresh. The bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable. Umbrellas were available for guest use. Location was safe and close to the square. Overall not a bad stay but it had its challenges. We might opt for another B&B next time.

You can visit places in Sonoma like the Fairmont or The Lodge, yet neither will feel like a luxurious home. Inn at Sonoma is a pure-class luxury hotel that is easy to stay in forever. We wanted to stay forever and are now motivated to stay at all 17 properties managed by the four sisters. I've been tired of the hard-core corporate vibe and now desire a more personal and gentle approach. Inn at Sonoma feels uplifting and embracing. I'm now hooked on the four sister' properties. The history of this and the other four sisters' properties is straightforward. Four sisters started a bed-and-breakfast from their family home and did so well that one of them branched out to help other B&B owners mimic her success. The four sisters' management company's last sister sold it to three employees who now divinely manage the 17 properties throughout California. She is a young young woman who emanates professional kindness and enthusiastic humanness. She was a bright light the minute we walked into the room. She Is a magnificent host who showed us several rooms, and they were all gorgeous; one was in the two buildings built in the '60s, and two in the more prominent new part of the property built in 2000. All the rooms were well appointed with sumptuous bedding, stellar bed comfort, high-end decor, and fabrics, yet ours had a beautiful balcony with a country view. Because we were celebrating an anniversary, Katelynn sent chocolates and a great bottle of wine--kisses and hugs for that. The breakfast is divine! Every day, the chef makes homemade, gourmet omelets, quiche, or some fantastic egg dish, muffins, fresh fruit, and potatoes plus plus plus. They also serve bread and bagels, and hot homemade oatmeal, and yogurt The wine hour is so lovely. You can drink as much wine as you like, have freshly baked cookies, and eat fancy and delicious charcuterie with cheese, crackers, pickles, and nuts. This property gives you so much food, so we didn't pay for any extra meals, which saved time for more wine-tasting The best part was that we made friends during wine hour.

I stayed here two years ago and really enjoyed myself. The hotel is a two-block walk from downtown Sonoma. This time, the room had been newly renovated and I found it quite lovely. The room is very well appointed with lots of pillows, an in-room coffee maker with delicious coffee, wine glasses, refillable glass water bottles, chocolates, and robes. The fireplace alone can heat the room. I love that you can open the door and go sit outside on the balcony. My friend and I enjoyed the hot tub one evening. The shower is very good. The breakfast is quite good too...Different types of egg frittatas each day, fresh oatmeal, oatmeal toppings, boiled eggs, real yogurt, fresh fruit, and breads. The happy hour in the evening has very nice wines, cheeses, crackers, olives, and cookies. My only recommendations are to move the TVs so that you can watch them more comfortably in bed, and also to put a safe in each room. The manager Brian is extremely nice. Housekeeping were very accommodating and cleaned the room thoroughly each day. I will definitely stay here again. The experience, the value, and the location are just excellent.

There are pros and cons here. Nice staff. Price and location are ok so you can walk to town. Dislike the gas station next door but free breakfast and cheese, cookies and wine balance this rating. The hot tub and rooms have vintage furnishings that are chipping so there's a concern that the tables in bathrooms and rooms may contain lead (leadsafemama.com). But the bed was comfortable and has a nice fireplace that makes it cozy and the price is better than most. If you're on the bottom floor then you will hear guests above you stomping and it could be early in the morning. Flexible check out times. Upper floor could be better. Thank you.

From check in with Katelyn and her very accommodating and friendly service to the amazingly comfortable bed and pillows. Why have four pillows when you can have six wonderfully fluffy pillows that you can sink into? Everything was so clean and fresh. Quiet . The breakfast they serve is one of the best I've had. Usually when breakfast is included ; it's subpar . Not here; freshly baked plum cake and sweet corn pancakes. Lord help me. The scrambled eggs with mushroom and asparagus ? I don't know where they found their chef but , I hope they keep her. Breakfast felt like I was dinning at a fine restaurant; not the free breakfast one usually gets with their stay. The staff was checking on everyone and making sure we were taken care of . Hands down one of the best stays I've had in a while. Thank you !

We are headed back here for three nights. Such a wonderful place. Excellent location, quick walk to the downtown square. We loved the quaint boutique wineries that serve their wine at their happy hour. Breakfast is a variety of options plus a mimosa bar. Staff is friendly and gracious.

My husband and I stayed here for a quick getaway trip to wine country, and we were so happy with the location/service/quality/attention to detail. Upon arrival there were local chocolate truffles waiting for us on the bed. The room was clean and had bathrobes that were so comfy. I'm also a person that loves to have extra pillows when I sleep (six large pillows already on the bed). The fireplace was so cozy to have on during the winter time, and the tv was decently sized. The staff were all so friendly, helpful, and communicative. They really like to utilize text messages as primary communication. Our room was close to the hot tub which was also a huge plus. The elevator made going to the downstairs garage extremely convenient particularly because it had been raining on our trip. The breakfasts were far above average (our favorite items were the blueberry pancakes and poached eggs) and the afternoon wine/cheese hours were another perk we got to take advantage of. Another important and underrated amenity we had was access to filtered water at all times. My husband drinks a lot of water, and we were able to go to the ice machine near our room and get filtered water downstairs easily. The only small and minor miss I would say was that the fresh baked cookies were always really hard. Other than that, great stay for the price we got, and the location is unbeatable. You could walk to so many restaurants in downtown. Will definitely consider staying again in the future!

Completely charming and perfectly located. This Inn offers the perfect Sonoma experience. Situated within walking distance to the down square with shops, restaurants and wine tasting opportunities, the Inn offers spacious and well appointed rooms, a welcoming staff, and complimentary breakfast, parking and a daily wine and cheese evening. We met locals and we met guests where we shared experiences and made friends. The value is unmistakeable!

I would not recommend this place. There are other hotels near town that are better options. We stayed here for two nights and the ac in our room was very dusty and did not work. We called to have maintenance look at it and instead they brought up a fan. For paying over $400 a night and to be given a fan to cool your room down is really unacceptable. On top of that the configurations of the room make no sense. The bathroom door blocks the entry door so if you try to come in the room and someone has the bathroom door open you could lose a finger. The sinks hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long they were not draining.

I happy to rewrite that my experience this time was wonderful. Easy check in, clean rooms,and friendly staff

We have stayed here twice in the last year, and each time we have been pleased with underground parking, afternoon happy hour, breakfast, and Sonoma location. Tuesday evening the central square in town turns into a farmer's market with music and food tents/trucks. Yes, this hotel is older, and there are some quirky things wrong with the bathrooms, but the location and service from the staff over ride indiosyncracies from bathrooms. The hotel manager is an expert on wine tasting and restaurants. Ask for recommendations. You won't be disappointed.

Our stay at The Inn at Sonoma was fabulous! The hotel was so homey, comfortable and clean. It was lovely waking up in the morning and enjoying breakfast on the patio, town was such a short walk away and then starting the evening with complimentary wine and charcuterie was a fabulous touch! We loved the morning breakfast - it was way more extensive than I expected! Each day was different but the general gist was fresh fruit, a yogurt parfait station, a variety of breads, and the eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes were changed up each day. It was all very fresh and you could tell it was made that day rather than like it was reheated from the day before. I was pleasantly surprised at how extensive the cheese board was and it was beautifully displayed. 10/10! The staff was phenomenal! They were so helpful during check-in and very willing to provide any extra assistance throughout our stay. I had lovely interactions with housekeeping and the kitchen staff; everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here!

This was a really pretty and comfortable inn. It was clean and the staff was all very inviting. They have a complimentary afternoon wine and cheese hour. The wine was surprisingly very delicious. It was basically all you can drink and eat cheese. The rooms where very clean and spacious. They had a personal note and gifted us with some delicious dark chocolates. It's in a very ideal location. Just a 5 minute walk from downtown Sonoma. Which provides the amenities of dining and shopping. I would highly recommend this Inn and stay there again. Kaboo photography

Nice location. Staff was nice. Lobby was clean. The breakfast was nice with a variety each day. Happy hour was also a plus for an hour each night with wine and cheese. I probably would not stay here again. We had ants in our room which was not fun. I didn't report it to the desk until we left because i didn't want them to spray my room. Also the TV was so small and didn't have any streaming or ppv options which is expected in this day and age. It was raining so at night we wanted to watch TV and there was only one movie channel so you better like what was on there. Otherwise you could watch basic cable. The room I had was a double. The bed frames are too big for the mattresses and stick out so you will likely bang your shin and bump your toes unless you stack some pillows on the floor for protection. Also the headboards are made of metal and when you move around in bed it clangs like thunder. It wasn't all bad but it wasn't great. I'll try something different next time especially because it's not an inexpensive place to stay. When I checked out I would have offered my opinions, but nobody asked me how my stay was. They still get 4 stars but they could do better.

We have stayed here multiple times over the last 17 years. Location is awesome. This was not our favorite stay. The Inn is losing some of its charm. First day we didn't get our room serviced at all second day they had us leave in late afternoon to complete during the time we were getting ready to go out for evening we were told not enough crews to handle the turns. Breakfast is served very late imho - in room coffee makers didn't work well and no cream/sugar options provided. While some updates have been made bathrooms are now pretty outdated (our taps and shower heads don't even match) and tvs aren't very current models. Staff was sweet and kind but have lost some of the warmth and exceptional service from the past. With a lot of competition out there it's disappointing that they aren't keeping up - we will likely look to some of the newer options on our next visit.

It's ok. For $500 per night, i'd expect a larger room and a better bed. The breakfast didn't taste very good, but it was very healthy - full of vegetables Housekeeping in the common areas was non-existent.

With our demanding schedules and desire to connect with our small community of friends, my wife and I often feel like we have little time to slow down, disconnect, and connect with each other. In order to achieve this goal, my wife decided that she wanted to celebrate her birthday in Sonoma. Sonoma would provide us with the opportunity to travel away from our many "distractions" at home, relax, and engage in an activity that we mutually enjoy...wine tasting! To add an extra layer to our goal of relaxation, we chose to book a Bed & Breakfast....Inn at Sonoma. My wife and I have stayed at Bed & Breakfast establishments in the past and absolutely love them! However, this experience would be slightly different. Our previous stays were at independently owned, family Bed & Breakfast establishments. We were checked in & out by either the owner or a host, the owner or host would prepare breakfast in the morning, if you had any questions you had easy access to the owner or host, and if you decided to eat your breakfast outside of your room-you would do so in an intimate communal environment (typically at a family-style dinner table). Unfortunately, because Inn at Sonoma is part of a chain, it does not possess the aforementioned qualities of an independently owned establishment. The evening wine hour is held in the huge main lobby (which doesn't feel intimate) where you can treat yourself to free wine, cheese, crackers, and cookies (the cookies are delicious). Our room was clean, bed was comfortable, and there was a two person in-room jacuzzi (perfect for sharing a bottle of wine in). The establishment is located in close proximity (walking distance) to a plethora of wineries and historical Sonoma monuments. We enjoyed our time so much in the streets of Sonoma that we rarely stayed in our room. Although we initially planned on having breakfast in the lobby every morning, our late nights in the streets of Sonoma influenced our decision to opt for the breakfast in bed option ($10 charge for this option). In addition to the $10 charge, you must submit your request for breakfast in bed the prior afternoon/evening. Because we never planned on having our breakfast delivered to our room, we ended up calling the lobby in the morning to request last minute delivery of breakfast to our room. Unfortunately, on multiple occasions, my wife's request was met with an unprofessional, off-putting response. We understood that this may have posed as an inconvenience to the cook(s); however, good customer service is not conditional. Although we enjoyed the evening wine hour and the establishment's close proximity to some pretty awesome wineries, we were disappointed about the overall experience at the Inn at Sonoma. In comparison to the smaller, independently owned Bed & Breakfast establishments, Inn at Sonoma feels like a commercial hotel with room service (breakfast) and a wine hour. In the future, we will stick with the independently owned Bed & Breakfast businesses.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Sonoma, A Four Sisters Inn for two nights in July... I chose it because of the location, the photos on the website, the reviews, and the reputation the "Four Sisters" name brings. It was also a bit more moderately priced than some of the other B&Bs I looked at, but don't get me wrong - it was still pricey! If you've ever looked at a realtor's photos of a home and then visited the home yourself to find it not quite what you expected, then you know the feeling I had when we checked in at this place. It's definitely more of a motel feeling than a B&B, the rooms are much smaller in person than they look on the website, and the staff is not the friendliest. Our room was fine -- just small. We were located on the second level of the front / newer building. The walls are thin, so you can hear your neighbors. It was clean, however, and the shower water pressure and heat were good! One thing that was disappointing and worth sharing is that another guest must have had a dog on the property and the dog must have pooped right outside of the door from our building to the main building. Sadly, no one picked up after the dog... and we saw a staff member walk right by the poop. On a positive note, the breakfast was lovely (see my photo) and the location really is great... we walked to the square several times during our stay. And if you're a Dutch Brothers fan, you're in luck, as there is a DB right across the street! Would I stay again? I'd probably look elsewhere before committing to that, but if you do end up here, you'll be just fine.

Such a great place! Highly recommend! The staff is amazing. The rooms are bigger than appear in pictures. Breakfast is amazing!!! Definitly will come be back!

I'll start off by saying that we had a very nice stay at the Inn, and you really can't beat the location off Sonoma square. That being said, I see the point of over reviewers in that there are some improvements that can be made. We had an upgraded room, but some of our friends did not, and the differences were evident. I'm sure some modernization is underway, but I would have been disappointed compared to the price tag had I ended up in the other room. I love that they offered the evening wine tasting, but I would have loved to learn more about the wine. I think this is less to do with the Inn, however, and more to do with the winery representatives. The fruit and cheese served at this time was great, but it would be nice to have a full selection of charcuterie. The cookies were a fun treat, but as a previous reviewer said, they were never hot. All of that being said, the breakfast was delicious and perfect for kicking off a long day of winery visits. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly, and the beds were soft and comfortable. I would likely stay here on a future visit.

Sorry, not sorry - this review is going to GUSH wonderfullness. Our final stop during an 8-day trip did not disappoint. The Inn at Sonoma has ALL the extras. A happy hour which delights and includes copious amount of wine, cheese and all the accoutrements. A hearty delicious breakfast including waffles, fresh fruit, quiche and assorted juices, coffee and teas. Free bicycles to tour this amazing town with killer views and the best regional wineries. Our room? Clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We stayed in room #24 and it was lovely! Will definitely stay here again and again as should YOU! Thank you for an exceptional experience and wonderful service to boot.

A perfectly located place to enjoy Sonoma during the day and the night. The room was very clean with all the requirements and a jacuzzi tub. Very polite and hard working staff with a complimentary breakfast and snack box. Book in advance, rooms go quick.

This was the perfect place to stay for a relaxing week in Sonoma. It was within walking distance to downtown. The service was friendly with great communication. I would highly recommend this quaint Inn!

Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were fortunate to stay in the main building, which is set back from the main road a bit. Sonoma Plaza is just a 5 minute walk, so no need to drive anywhere.

Just had a great stay in a very comfortable room. The fireplace was perfect for one rainy cold evening out of our stay. Great location to walk the square or find dining. Folks seemed very friendly and helpful.

The Inn is very convenient to much of the disease sites to see in Sonoma and a number of wine tasting rooms. It's very reasonably priced. The rooms are very comfortable. There is a lovely wine and cheese spread in the afternoon for their guests and everyone is very friendly.

A great option to stay super clean rooms we got upgraded to a king sized bed with a balcony . They're Covid precautions are great I felt safe the whole time they limit contact as much as they possibly can ! Our breakfast was amazing staff was friendly and helpful I would definitely be excited to come back and stay longer ! (Not to mention complimentary wine cheese and crackers and cookies)

I loved this place! The staff were awesome. The room was pretty and very comfortable. They offered a wine and appetizer in the early evening. Lovely. We were welcomed and given recommendations for a wine tasting in the square (she gave us a 2 for 1 coupon!) and dinner (see The Girl & The Fig. Simply amazing). Breakfast was very good and included in the cost of the room. There was parking in the garage under the building. This place was great and I highly recommend! I will be back!

We couldn't have asked for a better stay. We only spent one night here but we definitely made the most of it. I believe my boyfriend saw an offer to book the room last second because it was a rainy weekend. The location is amazing. You can walk to the town center and the different restaurants and tap rooms (less than a 10 minute walk). The R2 wine company (we were here with a Groupon) is right next door! Our room was beautiful. It was really spacious, clean, and had a fire pit and a little patio. I like how thoughtful of them it was to leave a welcome note and chocolate. The staff was friendly and attentive both when checking in and out. They called us right after we checked out because we had forgot our phone charger in the room. They have wine and hors d'Oeuvres from 5-6:30. They had a local winery tasting (definitely nicer) and wines that they usually serve at the Inn. The snacks are delicious and they have a nice variety of them: from bell peppers and hummus, to different kind of cheeses and fruits. Their breakfast is delicious too and they have different options: bagels, yogurt, fruit, vegetables with eggs, pastries... It is also nice that they have beverages 24/7 and that they have chess in the lobby area. Although we couldn't use them because the weather didn't permit it, they have bikes that you can use for free and thought that this is a fun way to explore the area.

I called to book a room with them at the discounted rate of $205 per night. This is viewable and bookable on their website. However, we have a toddler and prefer a room with a detachable showerhead. The person on the phone told me that they couldn't get me the advertised rate and quoted higher rates instead. She also refused to rent me a room with a detachable showerhead, which is marketed as an ADA room. I understand this point, but then asked if any of the non-ADA rooms had a detachable showerhead. They did not. I told them that anyone could book any room on their website at the discounted rate. So what is the phone reservation system for? To quote higher rates and deny certain rooms to guests, rooms that anyone can book online? I asked to speak to a manager and was told that "it would be a while" before she could speak to me. I asked for her email address so I could deliver feedback and the person on the phone started to give me her manager's email, but then was interrupted and told not to. Her manager (who was apparently listening to the conversation) told her to tell me to leave a callback number. I know when I'm being given the runaround, and suspect that her manager was available and just didn't want to talk to me. We have stayed with them twice before and never had an issue, so I think the problem is the person on the phone and possibly her manager, Rachel. I wonder how many people they've ripped off by charging higher rates over the phone versus online? And is the unhelpfulness and lack of response good customer service?

Really nice hotel with a great location. Best part of our stay was the staff - super helpful and friendly. One of the staff members was particularly helpful when my wife wasn't feeling well. The 5-6 happy hour was great - really good cheese, cookies and wine. Only reason for 4 stars is because we booked a queen bed room and the bed was definitely smaller than a queen size. The bed also wasn't as comfortable as comparable hotels. But overall we couldn't have picked a better place to stay in Sonoma.

Absolutely loved our stay. Everyone was so friendly. The wine and cheese happy hour is great. Loved the proximity to the square. Only reason I docked them a star is that the "queen bed" was most definitely NOT a queen. Full bed at most. Would not recommend the non king rooms.

Lovely Inn with wonderful breakfast and Happy Hour. The staff were friendly and courteous. Close to the Square. We prefer the main building since it has an elevator. Loved the fireplace in each room.

This was my first experience at a Four Sisters Inn and it was absolutely worth it! Because we stayed during the Christmas weekend, we got the deluxe King suite with jetted tub for $175 a night (which was pretty good considering it was a holiday and the location was soooo close to downtown). The inn had a private parking lot for the guests. Wine and cheese (with crackers and dip too) was offered from 5 pm to 6:30 pm every night and breakfast from 8-10 am. There was a good selection and it was different every day. Unlimited coffee and tea in the lobby area. They even offer free bikes to ride in town! There's a gas station right next to the inn and a post office right across the street for your convenience. Downtown was literally 3 minutes away (walking) and there is really no need to take your car. I highly recommend this inn to anyone going to Sonoma for a getaway!

This hotel is adorable but the rooms were a little small. We got a king room with a fireplace and balcony, so I thought it would be a little more spacious. The delivered breakfast and afternoon wine & cheese tray were an awesome idea to replace what is usually offered. The location is excellent. There's a Peet's Coffee across the street and it's about 2 blocks from the Town Square where there are many wonderful restaurants and tasting rooms.

I was hoping to get more than received. From the website it looks like the most amazing inn. Our room was beautiful, quiet, and had an amazing comfortable bed and pillows. Large bathroom everything very clean. But we had no view and could not sit on our little patio because it always in the sun. I was disappointed in the breakfast they served. I am used to staying at a beautiful inn in wine country that have wonderful lavish breakfast. We only ate breakfast there one day and it was a spongy tasteless broccoli quiche with potatoes that were barely cooked. It is a beautiful hotel but I would recommend getting a room with a view unlike mine. The staff was really great. I just wish they knew how to cook breakfast

We usually travel to downtown Sonoma at least 3-4 times a year. Much to my surprise, I had no idea this quaint hotel was located just a few min walking distance from the main downtown square. We were able to check in quickly with the friendliest guy at the front desk. He just appeared so happy and always had a smile that I couldn't help but be cheered up! We had a room adjacent to the main building. Plenty of parking (and if not, then there is an easily accessible parking garage on site). Lots of wonderful and complimentary amenities - freshly baked cookies daily, water and tea stations, complimentary wine hour with great apps including cheese, charcuterie, simple but delicious breakfast, bikes to ride around town and to wineries. We were able to walk everywhere and even used the bike to ride around to a few wineries and check out the bike path. The room was a great size, very comfortable bed and there was even a fireplace. I can't say enough great things about this hotel. Good to know this is a boutique chain with other locations - will definitely keep them in mind.

Wonderful, high quality room and food at this B & B feel hotel. Strongly recommend! You my, gourmet quality breakfast included, specialty teas in hallway coffee/tea station. After long day out at wineries and shopping, a happy hour of wine and cheese. I mean, they couldn't have done more!

I am entirely impressed with Inn at Sonoma! Upon arrival we easily found parking which is complimentary for quests. We were greeted by the manager Robert who enthusiastically offered us information on the property, gave us a tour and showed us to our rooms. There were birthday balloons waiting for me in our room which I thought was very sweet. Every evening they offer a reception with wine and lots of cheese. We just missed the local wine rep that was sharing their wines so Robert offered some of the property's house wine which tasted great. The following morning I woke up to the wonderful smells of breakfast. The Inn serves up a generous warm breakfast was served complimentary in the lobby. You can take it back to your room, sit in the inviting small dining room or the cozy patio. This morning they served fresh fruit with cream and granola, bread with a variety of spreads, banana pancakes and a quiche. I enjoyed the delicious pancake and fresh fruits. I had a bight of the quiche and it was too delicious. Our room had a gas fireplace, Keruig, private balcony with cute seating to enjoy breakfast/coffee at in the morning. The bed was super comfortable and in the closet they had additional blankets. The closest also housed those nice fancy robes. But most importantly I felt safe and it was very quiet. Oh and the free WiFi was reliable! We chose this property because of its proximity to the square (2 block walk away) and because it seemed very charming. We were able to walk to dinner, stroll the square and enjoy a nightcap all within walking distance. I was very happy with our stay and would definitely return.

First time staying in Sonoma and at this cute place. From the moment we booked this spot to when we left the service was impeccable. Everyone was so nice, making sure we had everything we needed and even calling around to find out if there were certain places open for us. The room was spotless, the breakfasts were delicious and we especially enjoyed the afternoon cheese crackers, wine and cookies. We also appreciated all the extra help we got from Christy, Ruth(?) and Jaime. We highly recommend this location - walking distance to the square and shops - we will definitely be staying here again when we come back! Thank you

What I liked: location, wine and cheese happy hour, small boutique vibe, the spa bathroom we had in our room, the staff was very friendly and had great recommendations. My husband LOVED the cookies. What I didn't like: we paid more to be in the superstate house unaware that it's right on the main road, you don't have a balcony and they don't clean/service these rooms daily. Room was also pretty small. The breakfast was good but wish they offered more variety Overall we would stay here again - next time in the main house- for location.

First off let me acknowledge that I have stayed at Four Sisters' Lavender and Maison Fleurie properties. The Inn at Sonoma is a 2.5-3.0 stars, not like them. Pros Room was clean, bed was comfy, and it had a fireplace and balcony. Its set back 100 feet from the main drag, so its quiet a night. Modern insulation with thick walls, no neighbor noise if getting your freaky on, freak away. Good wine at the afternoon reception. Fridge/coffee in room Friendly staff. Good deal with "carpe diem". Cons Very middle of the road feel, like a small Marriott, nothing very memorable Lots of sweets with complimentary breakfast, only a frittata to balance it. Lacks charm of a B n B, not homey. Lacks romance, unlikely to light anybody's "freaky" fire. With that said if you're looking for a nights sleep with eats then its fine. If you're looking to get your groove on, try to the East.

My boyfriend & I wanted a quick getaway for his birthday & chose this Inn. The room was not worth the price you pay. It's old & outdated, even though it stated "modern" in the description. The positives were the location to the square & great assortment of teas. Breakfast was the same thing everyday: quiche, fruit & pastries. Not a place I would stay again.

My wife and I recently stayed in the Vintners King Spa room and absolutely loved it. The jetted tub was deep and relaxing, the fireplace made the room feel nice and cozy on a cold evening, and we enjoyed breakfast and the wine & cheese picnic. The Inn is also conveniently located just a block away from the shops, restaurants, and sights at Sonoma Square. Also, the staff was attentive and helpful. My only (slight) gripe is that our bed frame and headboard were both lightweight metal, so it was pretty noisy when we got in and out of bed.

Wasn't sure about how many stars but based on wine hour and breakfast I think three. I wouldn't say it lives up to what we have had at other Inns or b and b's. It is more of a hotel/motel. It is nice, clean. staff was very nice. Just thought from the web site and price of $300 a night certain things would be better.

I've never been given better customer service! One morning I went for a second helping of the complimentary mushroom quiche, hashbrown, fruit, and muffins prepared by their chef, and discovered it was quite difficult to carry it all back to my room. From behind the front desk, a guy runs over and says, "Let me carry some of that for you and get the door." I spilled lots of juice walking across the parking lot to my room and I apologized to him for making such a mess. He told me that everything was fine and that he (not a maid!) would clean it all up on his way back! He did all of this with a huge smile! The front desk staff helped us find places to go, they made reservations, and they re-drew multiple maps for us to help us understand the bike ride we wanted to take. Before we left, my friend told them she'd left her jacket at the winery next door. They offered to mail it to her later. As we loaded up the car, they also called over to the closed winery, then ran over and retrieved the jacket for us. I heart these people. The rooms were beautiful. My room looked exactly like the picture on the website and the patio looked better. I lived on that gorgeous and relaxing patio that gave me a front row seat to the bustling traffic headed to the square (one block away) but wasn't at all loud at night. The bathrooms really felt like a spa setting with pretty baskets of towels and quality toiletries. I spent about an hour in that shower/tub. I couldn't decide which was better so I took a bath AND a shower! #getyourmoney'sworth The rooftop jacuzzi was fabulous and private. The complimentary bicycles we borrowed came with helmets, were super cute, and were perfect for riding to the nearby wineries. The wine and cheese reception was worth coming home for! Red or white wine, brie, gouda, pepper jack and more served with olives and two types of crackers in cute little Four Sisters glasses made for a good reception. They have plenty of room in the lobby but there was also an open deck upstairs where we enjoyed our treats. Did I mention I loved this place? I'd totally marry the Inn at Sonoma. Totally.

Beautiful and charming Inn right near all the shops and restaurants. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a larger room with a beautiful deck with chairs and a table to enjoy the beautiful day in Sonoma. Breakfast was included and delicious. I would definitely stay here again!

The 5 stars alone go towards the wonderful staff. From the lovely lady that took my last minute reservations 03/25 to the front desk staff at check in and check out. Very nice and welcoming. Ethan was a complete rock star! No matter what I needed I would call down to ask him about, he was knocking on my room door before I even hung up the phone. 3 minute walk to the town square with. Lot's of food and shopping. Very convenient location. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
