Inn by the Bay

If you are looking for a place that wants you to go to sleep by 9 pm with paper thin walls, inside doors instead of insulated, a bed that when you sit on the end rises and bangs on the floor, a toilet paper roll that kept falling off onto the floor creating a noise that could be heard throughout the hotel and mainland neighbours that has no clue about us Newfoundlanders and how we like to enjoy ourselves then this is the place for you. We definitely will not be going back as there is no privacy or want of anyone that wants to enjoy their night out.

Stayed 2 nights in Dildo. Lovely rooms, very clean and tidy. Breakfast included with choices of muffins, scones, cereals and fresh fruit along with coffee and tea. Restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Ample parking. Tammy is a great hostess and communicator.

We stayed two nights and had a great time! Tammy was super friendly and helpful and gave us great recommendations in the area. Dildo Brewing is a must visit and we highly recommend this charming place to stay!

Great stay at a charming B&B in Dildo. Lots of character with many decorative touches. Had a great chat with Tammie who filled us in on the area. Room and bed were very comfortable. Off-season timing left us with the entire place to ourselves. Had a magnificent sunset view from the gathering room! Good continental breakfast the next morning. The Inn is across the street from the Dildo Brewing Company, but sadly it was closed during our visit to the town.

Beautiful Inn perfectly located in the town of Dildo . Inn on the Bay is very clean with an inviting atmosphere . Tammy , our host was fun to chat with and knows the area very well . We had an excellent stay at Inn on the Bay .

Very cozy and beautiful place to stay. Lovely breakfast. However, soundproofing the rooms would be an amazing addition.

We held a small staff training retreat. This venue was perfect!! The host was so accommodating and welcoming. The rooms are cozy yet with plenty of space. The most comfortable bedding!! Great breakfast and coffee. The view unparalleled. Ocean front and the only complaint is we were distracted by whales! Two in the bay. It was unbelievable. She provided us use of the common area and we turned the dining room into a meeting room. I highly recommend this venue for retreat/training for groups up to 8 people. Brewery across the road and Barn Cafe a short drive away. What a spot!!

Wonderful place to stay! We stayed in the Reid room. It was small but perfectly comfortable. The open window provided a lovely breeze while sleeping and it was nice waking to the sound of seagulls. Breakfast was a good variety of muffins, pastries, begals, cereal, and fruit. We enjoyed it with coffee in the dining room with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Clean and quiet with friendly staff... I definitely recommend!

Inn By The Bay Bed and Breakfast is a Canada Select 4 1/2 star rated country inn and bed and breakfast in Dildo, Newfoundland. The original house was built in 1888 but has been extensively renovated and offers seven guest rooms with ensuite baths as well as the Sea Level Dining Room. The property became a bed and breakfast in 1998 and has seen extensive renovations over the years. Recommended by many travel publications such as Fodor's, Frommers, Lonely Planet, and on TripAdvisor and by Where To Eat In Canada this is a charming bed and breakfast on the oceanfront in Dildo.

A wonderful B&B that serves dinner with a great view of the bay. We however didn't eat at the B&B but stayed overnight. There was an amazing gourmet breakfast in the morning. The only reason that it didn't get 5 Stars is that there is no sitting area available for guests staying overnight (other than your room) between the hours of 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM when the restaurant is open. Also, conversations could be heard faintly in the hallway and dining room.
