Inn by the Bay

Beautiful house built in 1888, furnished with interesting antiques. Very friendly and helpful host. Half a block from a brewery/restaurant that had good food and beer.

The breakfast room alone is worth the price of a night's stay. The hostess is expertly helpful and kind. Inn by the Bay is a great place to stay!

Wonderful place to stay! We stayed in the Reid room. It was small but perfectly comfortable. The open window provided a lovely breeze while sleeping and it was nice waking to the sound of seagulls. Breakfast was a good variety of muffins, pastries, begals, cereal, and fruit. We enjoyed it with coffee in the dining room with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Clean and quiet with friendly staff... I definitely recommend!

We held a small staff training retreat. This venue was perfect!! The host was so accommodating and welcoming. The rooms are cozy yet with plenty of space. The most comfortable bedding!! Great breakfast and coffee. The view unparalleled. Ocean front and the only complaint is we were distracted by whales! Two in the bay. It was unbelievable. She provided us use of the common area and we turned the dining room into a meeting room. I highly recommend this venue for retreat/training for groups up to 8 people. Brewery across the road and Barn Cafe a short drive away. What a spot!!

This inn is beautiful with fantastic traditional decor details and filled with interesting pieces and the right amount of whimsy. The host was very accommodating and made check in and check out a breeze. The common area has a perfect view of the bay and is warm and inviting with crocheted lap blankets and a warm electric fireplace. The inn is literal steps away from the local brewery, making it the perfect location to set yourself up for a comfortable stay!

Outstanding hostess! No surprises - this place was just as described. It is well located - a view of the bay and across the street from the Brewery and Restaurant. Beautifully decorated and quite clean. Continental breakfast was just fine and no one rushed us through it. We plan to come again.

A lovely little bnb/inn. Best continental brekky on our trip. Lovely views, and walking distance to restaurant. We chose to heat our own meal as we could sit in the dining room.

What a spectacular experience! Small staff retreat. Gorgeous, cozy rooms. Lovely details. Beautiful bedding. Stunning view. So welcoming and warm. Common area very inviting to lounge with the knitted quilts provided. We used the dining room as our meeting room. Whales put on quite a show even in November! Terrific continental bfast. Host and owner was so hospitable and accommodating.

Inn By The Bay Bed and Breakfast is a Canada Select 4 1/2 star rated country inn and bed and breakfast in Dildo, Newfoundland. The original house was built in 1888 but has been extensively renovated and offers seven guest rooms with ensuite baths as well as the Sea Level Dining Room. The property became a bed and breakfast in 1998 and has seen extensive renovations over the years. Recommended by many travel publications such as Fodor's, Frommers, Lonely Planet, and on TripAdvisor and by Where To Eat In Canada this is a charming bed and breakfast on the oceanfront in Dildo.

A wonderful B&B that serves dinner with a great view of the bay. We however didn't eat at the B&B but stayed overnight. There was an amazing gourmet breakfast in the morning. The only reason that it didn't get 5 Stars is that there is no sitting area available for guests staying overnight (other than your room) between the hours of 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM when the restaurant is open. Also, conversations could be heard faintly in the hallway and dining room.
