Inn By The Bay Monterey

As much as we enjoyed the stay, a few things were an issue. The location of the hotel is great! It's super quiet and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We arrived past 10pm when the office closes to check in so we called the # to check in. Staff answered quickly and came to the office quick. Check in was fast and a breeze since we paid in full online. The rooms are a great size for a hotel, and you even get a microwave and a decent size mini fridge. The rooms are newly renovated and nice. The beds are really comfy, too. The only issues we had came down to cleanliness, which is huge, in my opinion. The bed had 2 long gray hairs on it when we arrived that weren't ours. When we requested a bed change, the new pillow case had a blood stain on it. The hotel is quiet but there is no decor on the walls so it does echo in the rooms a lot. Overall it was a decent stay and reasonably priced. Despite the minor issues, I can see us coming back here.

Clean & large rooms! Free parking. I needed a place that would allow both dogs and cats - most places I called had restrictions on cats, so I was relieved to find somewhere that welcomed them both. Conveniently located next to a lot of great restaurants, and local to the coast of Monterey and Carmel by the Sea. I got the room for $70/night plus the $45 pet fee on a weekday. Will definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

Positive: It is within walking distance of the wharf. Negative: The room was not clean at all! I found a piece of chewed gum on the side table and the coffee machine had coffee grounds all over it. The refrigerator had hair and food on it. Overall the lack of cleanliness made for an unpleasant experience.

Nice cozy, clean renovated rooms.|The bathroom was nice & updated. The bed was comfy.|Really like the blinds/shutter on the windows. So easy & useful.|Love that they had tile floors in our room. Carpet floors in hotels are always ‘iffy’ to me.|Office staff were very nice. Ample parking in the back|Close to downtown with shops and restaurants.|2 miles to Cannery row. Needed a dog friendly room on a weeks notice in Monterey and settled on this hotel after reviewing several in the area for a balance between good price and decent reviews. Best way to describe this place is that it is decent. Check in was at 3pm and while we landed at 345pm, the room was still not ready until after 4pm. This didn’t seem to be the fault of the cleaning ladies as it seems they are really trying to work with what they have and the room was clean. However, the hotel owners could focus on maintenance. Toilet seat was loose, closet door handle was missing, USB chargers were loose, dresser handles were missing. You’re paying for proximity to downtown, less for appearances. Total was $279 for the night, plus a $45 pet fee when we checked in. We saw a number of dogs, so this place was definitely pet friendly which was the main selling point for us. If they made some minor improvements, it would really make the $300+ fee for the night feel more reasonable.

Nice rooms. A little small but nice. Everything you need, bed TV, desk, chair , microwave, mini fridge. Bathroom is very nice , the one I was in large shower glass sliding door, marble through out entire bathroom, clean.

So my wife and I wanted a little "sexcation" and she found this spot it doesn't look like much but it's pretty alright i have stayed in much worse so fornthe basic rooms I cant say much we got the like romance suite it had a big bed a fireplace and like a jacuzzi hot tub inside the room it was pretty dope felt like a baller in the 80s haha so service got a low rating cause when we showed up we were 2 hours past check in time .. well the room was not clean at all I guess cause we had to wait another hour before it was done idk maybe I'm just impatient but I feel like I shouldn't have to theoretically wait 3 hours past check in for the room to be ready I thought that was silly . Location was not bad next to a lot of stuff like food, liquor stores,gas stations, and the aquarium was not far really imo. But yeah, it was a pretty alright place. I'm a few years late to writing this review, but the rooms seem more updated and modern now, so that's a plus . Again, though, I recommend the big fancy suite with the jacuzzi in the room it was great we put a movie on and just cuddled up in the big ol tub. Oh, the shower was big af and pretty great also 👌 if you are wanting luxury idk if this is the spot, but for a little weekend getaway or a weekend trip, I think this place is more than adequate.

Nice little spot from what i could tell. Arrived at 1 am. Needed a place for a few hours. Staff was friendly despite being woke up. Room was nice. Bathroom was huge. Proximity to where I was going was perfect. Less than a mile away from Fishermans warf. Only spent 4 hours in the room so didn't have time to check the property out. Did not see it in daylight. But I worked well for me. Prices were great.

Trust me when I say this, do not book with this hotel, we made that mistake, and you could possibly be exposed to mold! NOTE: there's a $20 fee per person. We got here at about 10:30pm, even though Chek in ended at 10pm they still allowed us to check in to our room. This was the highlight of the stay. First of all, the was pretty small, does not reflect a $250/night hotel. I would say this is at your motel 6 level, even some motel 6 are better taken care of than this location. The bed is of very cheap quality and very uncomfortable. You can feel the springs stabbing your back, no matter which side you lay on. The bed felt very instable, and anytime you would move, the springs would squeak. There was also a nasty red stain on the corner of the bed. No sure what it was but we didn't wanna find out. We were assigned room #10 on the lower floor. It was fine the first hour, until the second floor got assigned to customers. We could hear every little step, the roof was squeaking like they were going to fall through the ceiling at any moment. It was very worrisome and loud. Next morning we used the shower and noticed there was a piece of wall missing by the shower head. It looks like the owner tried to cheaply repair it by using mesh tape and paining over it, but the steam peeled the paint back. This is a big red flag, as it sets a perfect setting for mold to build, which is toxic to humans and can cause long term respiratory issues. But wait there's more... The shower pressure was so low, that a normal 15 minute shower took almost twice as long. Not to mention the pressure would randomly drop dramatically, to a point that it just felt like it was dripping. For a $200/night you'd expect an ice bucket, breakfast and at least a trash can, but none of this was provided. You can tell the owner of this place does not care about quality of stay, and it's only doing the lowest possible to maintain the hotel. At $250/night this place feels lower quality than a motel 6, and shouldn't charge more than $70 a night. Even at $70 a night, a business should not be ran to such poor quality. I do not recommend.

Context is everything. Having stayed at nearly 1,000 hotels over the years throughout the world, it's certainly conceivable that this place has the least hospitable rooms. Appearing to have been designed and built by the California State Department of Corrections, to resemble one part jail cell, the other a veterinary morgue, is completely bereft of any soft materials other than than the covers on the bed. Institutional materials and finishes abound and with the added feature of creaking and groaning when you move about the room. The beds are quite something. A mattress perched on a high black box requiring a bit of skill and precision in order to mount the beast. While the room was 'clean', then how hard must it be to hose it out after each guest. Truly a shame and to think what this establishment charges for this travesty during the summer season is mind boggling.

This place does not match description. We stayed for one night (thank god) other then the cheap fee for our dog the room was disgusting, the shower had cracks, the toilet seat was broken, the plugs were wobbly and didn't hold the chargers, the linens were disgusting and stained. Other than how it's central and how nice the front desk were it was not worth over 278. This is an easy 120 night stay, the upstairs were loud, banging could be heard.. this place needs to be upgraded, like they are selective with where their money goes but this place will not be any better if they don't tend to those types of issues. I don't even think they cleaned the room and just sprayed the room, there was dust everywhere, dirt on the walls, the drawers had broken nobs. The front desk was nice but the property needs some real love.

Could have been a whole lot better, but what should we expect for a $250/nt room? Room keys did not work in the morning and no one answered in the office. Bath sink had no stopper, kleenex stuffed holes in the walls and overall in need of deferred maintenance updates and repairs.

Needs a good cleaning service ! Don't be fooled by the pictures , the rooms are horrible , the tiles squeak, tv not really working , the beds are very high and squeak when you turn . We will never return for sure !

- I found blood on the sheets. NO, this blood was not mine. The bed had a comforter and two bed sheets, followed by the mattress protecter. The second sheet and mattress protector had blood. This is not sanitary, safe, or hygienic. Clearly the sheets had not been washed. Among that blood were other stains. Upon finding the blood, I contacted the office and all they asked was if I wanted new sheets. We received only two thin bed sheets & both my partner and I changed the sheets ourself. Note: This is not the first time the hotel has received a complain regarding blood on bed sheets, in a past review a guest also complained about blood on the sheets. - The microwave was filthy with old microwaved water and food. I contacted the office & was offered a rag to clean the microwave myself. - If I'm paying over $450 dollars for a "hotel" on my own vacation, I do not expect to clean up after past guests. Replacing the sheets is not enough, the least that could be done was a refund or discounted price of the stay at the hotel. - DO NOT book here.

Great location, and they allow pets. One of the drawbacks is their very narrow driveway and extremely narrow and few parking spots. The management is very friendly, but the lack of any elevator, lobby coffee, or the simplest of morning snack items in the mornings was noticeable at this price range.

The towel racket fell down,the front desk receptionist man is professional very rude. Wish I could give -1 star

If you are looking for a budget friendly place to stay in Monterey, The Inn By The Bay is in a great location. It is walking distance to the mall and wharf. The rooms were very clean, had good internet, smart T.V., refrigerator and microwave. The couple that manage the Inn were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Do not stay here! I repeat do not stay here! If you are used to staying in chain hotels, you are not going to like this place. The pictures online are nothing like what it looks like once you arrive. There was a distinct stinkiness coming from the bathroom. There is an overall sense/feeling of uncleanliness. We checked in and put our stuff in the room and came back a few hours later after dinner. Went into the bathroom and saw that there was water all over the floor and looked over at the toilet. It was leaking from the base. Now I know why the bathroom smelled. When I went to the lobby she kept saying how the room was recently renovated. What does that have to do with anything? The toilet was leaking! Disgusting! We left and checked out. Do not stay here. You will regret it.

Nice little facility, great price. Small but well-appointed room, nice bed. Only glitch was the inop icemaker (something I've run into several places recently). We would certainly stay again.

Dude. I paid nearly three hundred dollars to stay one night for the Big Sur race. THE PLACE IS INFESTED WITH ROACHES. I discovered four of the nasty things in my bed at night, no one was in the office when we went to report it. Don't know what they would have done anyway, if one room has roaches the whole place does. When I woke up before dawn to head to the race, flipped on the light and dozens scurried away. All over the floor, walls, everywhere. One grandpa roach didn't even bother to hide, just stared me down and said "what are you gonna do about it". There is a reasonable expectation of sanitation and cleanliness at any price, but 300 bucks for this??? Beyond unacceptable. I contacted the management but they have so far ignored me. DEAL WITH YOUR ROACH INFESTATION. Oh, and as a bonus, the fire alarm had been removed from the room. So negligence all around. Pics for your viewing pleasure.

Clean room, no carpet but wish it had an area rug at least. TV did not work for the first night and the second night it didn't work again- finally they got it working but we had to use two different remote controls to use it. No cleaning room service during your stay if staying multiple days due to Covid. Have to go get your own towels, etc.

This just a simple basic place charges $350 a night on Thursday night is beyond any logic. The bed side lamp has broken switch that you can't to turn on the lamp, and asked at the front desk, nothing was done, USB plugs are both broken. They don't bother to fix or replace them. Parking spaces are so tight and full.

I made a prepaid reservation and it was a mistake. I checked in late around 12am and they denied me a room because it was "past" their check in time. They will overbook the room slots last minute in the hopes that folks will drop after a certain point or not show up altogether. Poor business model that negatively affects the guests who do not get their reservations fulfilled before 12am. Please make the fix. There was other folks who did not get to check im either who were banging on all of the guests windows and made the experience be y uncomfortable. Other guests had to drive back home or book another hotel in a different location.

Took my kids on a spontaneous trip to Monterey and booked it the same day. What a pleasant surprise! The location was perfect, the prices very affordable, the views of the bay were unexpected and really made the room enjoyable. We were used to hotels and a little nervous about going to an inn but we absolutely loved it. My kids felt safe walking to Trader Joe's for some snacks. And the staff was quite kind and friendly. A wonderful time!

This place deserves no stars! It looked clean but upon closer exam the tile floor was filthy, the bathroom had hair and sand in shower pan and floor. BEDBUGS: at least 50+bites when the manager was told he tried to blame it on our dog!! We found a dead bedbug in our bed!! He was very rude and said his pest service found none! ( room exam was within 1 hour of our checkout- never heard of a fast response from one) Refused to compensate us They also charge $45 per pet per night!!

AVOID at ALL cost! There's a reason it's cheap! The manager tried to tell me I'm lying about the blinds being broke. Tried to check out 3 hours after check in due to really noisy neighbors and no curtains and broken blinds...they refused!! Be careful! Yes you may pay $20 more for a chain but at least they have customer service. This place is so rude!! $45 per pet per stay?!!?! I paid $48 for the entire stay you've got to be kidding me...room was small and won't stay again for the price. I feel that is extremely sneaky to wait until check in to let someone know you have a pet charge the same amount for the room as you do for check. Give me a break there's no carpet and the room isn't that nice wth could my pet really do. We've been car camping fir 3 weeks I said my pet was staying In the car and they refused, will not be back. It's my car who do you think you s are?

There's a lot to like here, and if you can book at a time when rooms are reasonably priced, it can be a great bargain. Our room seemed very clean, and street noise was not a problem. The exterior looked charming and well-kept, with flowers in hanging planters decorating the walkways. The mini-fridge worked well (as did the microwave the one time we used it) and wasn't too noisy. The bed was comfortable, but the window curtains did let in too much light for me. The inn is in a great location, within walking distance to many restaurants as well as some attractions (especially if you're willing to walk one mile each way). The staff was friendly and very helpful. Overall, a very good stay.

Great remodeled room good price for location. BUT no bath towels in room realized upon dripping out of shower! Also tv needed to be assisted by manager visit. Awakened at 7 am by a souped up truck outside my door bellowing it's tailpipe for 15 minutes with diesel smoke filling the courtyard and my room! Very disturbing

We used a third party website to book a last minute getaway. I checked in after 10 p.m. the receptionist desk was closed you need to ring the bell and they come out to assist you. The check-in process was smooth however they gave me a 2 queen room when I had reserved a king bed. Not much of a problem. The building is a smaller hotel with about 30 rooms, ours room 22 was upstairs. Our room was not as bad as some of the photos shown on other users accounts. The room was very basic, bed, night stand, t.v. ( good streaming services we were able to watch Netflix without having a personal account) and desk all older furniture. The floor is cold tile our room had big cracks in the tiles and the floor looked dirty do not walk around barefoot. Bedding was clean, restroom and towels were also clean. For the price we paid about $120 the night (we stayed on a Saturday) I would not recommend anyone stay here. They are a pet friendly place, we heard barking at around 6 a.m.

This place totally saved us after a truly dreadful Airbnb experience. They found a room for us late at night on a Saturday, and were gracious and efficient. Our room was clean and quiet and we got a good night's sleep. Very grateful for their excellent service in accommodating us at the very last minute!

Displayed pool in photos and when asked on call they said they had a pool, however they failed to say it's not functioned for months and when we got there they would not refund and smugly smiled while saying that we asked if there was a pool not if there was a functioning pool. There was also a large cockroach in the room. Hair dryer was broken. Bath tub but no bath tub stopper so no bath. Rude staff.

I am very dissatisfied and CAN NOT BELIEVE "HOTEL TONIGHT" WOULD SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! The walls and carpet was extremely DIRTY and made our feet black. The smell of old meat and cigarette smoke was horrific! It exasperated my already out of control allergies - our clothes & bags smelled of it after leaving this awful motel. We were woken by a group of people yelling at each other outside our room at 4 am and our king size bed had dirty and stained sheets !! We were provided with 3 small flat pillows. We tried to take a shower in the am and it was only cold water. We arrived at midnight and could not get out of there fast enough... left by 7am. We have tried to contact manager"SHIVA" for several days now & he does not call us back.

A convenient and economical pet-friendly option if that's what you're looking for in Monterey. Ample parking, the facilities could use a facelift and some upkeep but not in a distracting way. Check in was fast, the pet fee is $45 or $50 dollars. The rooms are basic but the beds were extremely comfy and likely on the newer side. The floors in the room are linoleum, but this was fine because I was traveling with my dog. There's a liquor store across the street and a fast food option also across the street, if needed. Walking distance to downtown Monterey. For a less than 10 minute drive to the Aquarium this is a reasonable inn option.

This place is disgusting. First, walked in and got hit with overwhelming smell of urine. Doesn't even look like they clean the room after each guest, but I guess we should be thankful that we at least got clean sheets. Over price motel and pictures don't look anything like the actual place.

Tbh kinda surprised with all the negative reviews because our experience in what's obviously been a newly remodeled room was UH-mazing. Nice touches with an already logged in Netflix and other steaming services. Was that on purpose? Idk but shoutout whoever was logged in. Nice location, quiet. Wish the room had night stand lamps bc over head lighting was all that there was. Extremely comfortable bed. Stand up shower super modern. Only other thing that was a concern was a huge pothole in the parking lot that if you didn't see would completely destroy your tire and probably front end. No breakfast which was tragic.

I wanted to highlight, give excellent recognition to Ariana & Esmeralda for their excellent service. They were both compasionate, welcoming and very accommodating to my family and I. The staff is nice upon arrival. I paid about 450 for 2 nights which is a lot for the room I got. When i arrived everything looked OK. However, after inspection the room was not so clean. There were chip crumbs on the chair and the beds are super uncomfortable. My back hurt after the first night. Then the 2nd night we came back to a room that smelled like fish or shrimp. Idk if someone was cooking in the next room but it was unpleasant to say the least. The room is also tiny so I would suggest the Super 8 down the street. It's cheaper and larger. The beds are also more comfortable. I definetly didn't get what I paid for. Also the walls are paper thin so you'll hear the neighbors. The purple on top of us were super noisy and kept rolling around on the chair at around 4am.

We booked a last minute stay at Inn By The Bay. We found the hotel on Bookings.com - for last minute the price was right. We arrived and checked in with the daughter of the owner - I did not get her name but she was sweet and was super quick with the process. We went up to our room, that is newly renovated - the bed was comfy, the decor was super cute, water was hot, coffee was good (for hotel coffee :) ) - there is no central air but they did have a unit. Room was warm when we arrived but cooled down pretty quick. The blow dryer did not work - but the owner offered me the use of his personal dryer!! Who does that?? This owner does, I was so grateful to his kindness. They are continuing to make upgrades to the once run down hotel. I look forward to returning to see all the changes and raise my 4 star rating to a 5. Huge plus' - positive attentive friendly staff / free parking / near the wharf / downtown / cannery / Big Sur I wish we had snagged some pictures but we didnt :(

Sign up for a reservation and decided to cancel 1 hour after booking because of the Bed Bugs shown. When I called back to cancel the reservation, the man on the phone refused to do anything about it. Stay away from this scummy place.

We stayed here while visiting our daughter and her fiancee'. We choose this place because it was close to them and it was "Dog Friendly. At best, this motel deserves a 3. However... Refrigerator - The freezer was frozen over like the Arctic Ice Sheet. Obviously this has been going on for a while. When we arrived, there was a towel in the base of the fridge to soak up the dripping water. It had been there for quite a while. This is just laziness on the part of Housekeeping. Take off 1/2 Star. Shower - Since the county banned individual use shampoo containers and the like, they installed in the shower a triple dispenser for shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The shower gel was empty, and had been for quite a while as evidenced by the container collapsing in on itself from the vacuum created by multiple occupants trying to get the last few drops. The shampoo was almost empty but I was able to squeek out enough to do my hair. The conditioner was almost full. This is just laziness on the part of Housekeeping. Take off 1/2 Star. Dog Friendly - This facility is Dog Friendly for $75 for the length of your stay. There is no Dog Friendly area of grass, sand, or gravel so your dog will need to use the walkways or the parking lot and driveways. Given this, $75 is just greed on the part of management. Take off 1/2 Star. Cleanliness - The doors show dirt and fingerprints from multiple occupants. This is just laziness on the part of Housekeeping. Take off 1/2 Star. Air Conditioning - This is an old motel that never had AC. Somewhere along the line, they decided to install portable AC units in the closet area. I don't know if it were these or previous owners. Even on the lowest setting, this unit is very noisy and cannot be used during the evening. My Wife - After the first stay, my wife let me know that she never, ever wanted to stay here again! There are a lot of hotels and motels on this stretch of road to choose from. You have plenty of options. Choose Wisely.

never coming back the hotel is truly horendous. Again me and my Husband booked a hotel and the HOTEL ONLINE SAID PET FRIENDLY so i bring my cute lil pittbull and as My husband and I check in they say sorry no pets?? The person at the front desk seemed scared of my dog archie hes a pittbul. She was like espically no pittbulls they are dangerous. My husband and I love our dog so much hes really sweet and good with little kids it broke my heart too see them offended with my pet. Anyways the hotel was dirty and the ac wouldnt turn on . Would rather stay at a crappy motel in salinas. There was a odd lense in our tissue box too it looked like a camera but i just shoved it in the bathroom cabniet i was really distrubed ......

I can only assume that these somewhat better reviews are for different rooms than we had or they are paying for positive review. DON'T play Russian Roulette with your stay because their bad rooms are the worst we've ever had to deal with. We left in the middle of the night because we couldn't stand it and they would not refund our money because we didn't tell them we were leaving first..... It was 2AM! No one was in the office! We called first thing! They hung up on the Hotels.com operator as well. Reprehensible customer service. If you are going to stay there, make sure your tetanus shot is up to date.

I'm giving 1 star because 0 is not all option! I'm here right now and am thinking about forfeiting what I've already paid for the night and going elsewhere or just driving home. This room is disgusting!! Dirty, no air, sure, they have some kind of floor air conditioner that is super loud but not really an air conditioner, I would never step foot in the shower, I'm sure I'll go without and drive home and shower there! Maybe $350 a night isn't top dollar for Monterey but I was not expecting this run down dirty hotel!!

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Don't expect to sleep, shower with soap, go to the bathroom or watch tv in this old and decrepit hotel. FOR EXAMPLE-I was kept up from 1:00am -3:00am thanks to another guest in the next room vomiting loudly and moaning for most of the night. When I called the front desk to complain, the live-in Manager replied by stating that's not his problem as the vomiting man was a guest at the hotel next door! Either he is full of crap or that's exactly my point, the walls are paper thin and you can hear a guest in ANOTHER hotel vomiting?! Also mentioned guests on other side of wall yelling frequently throughout the night but that wasn't his problem either. This hotel gets negative stars and only got 1 star because that's the lowest they allow! Dirty floors. Dirty carpets. Urine on the bathroom floors. Dirty showers Bad plumbing-Shower water backed up when we showered Toilet clogged after one use had to call front desk to fix Poor water pressure on the sinks The heater/air conditioner was some cheap plastic box from Walmart set up on two pieces of wood The curtains would not close because they were ghetto-rigged and held together with tape (see pictures) No soap No shampoo (when I complained, manager said you should have told me the moment you arrived) I shouldn't have to tell them. When you arrive to the hotel, should be go to go. The managers (or owners) live on site and could care less if you complain. They will not accommodate you whatsoever. Don't waste your time. If you contact them, with a concern, they will find an excuse as to why it is not their fault and basically tell you to pound sand. Do not bring your children here! Room is gross I came with my 8-year-old and 14-year-old and they did not want to walk on the carpet without socks or shoes on as they were disgusted with the soiled, stained carpet. Toilet clogged. Tv remote didn't even work. Had to go to the front desk and ask them to punch in a code every day to re activate it. No channels. Tv shut off every five minutes as it was seemingly on a pre-set timer. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. We typically stay at 4-star and above hotels. However, I am confident a Motel 6 would have been cleaner and more comfortable.

0 stars! This is hands down the worst hotel I have ever been to. It was FILTHY, room was terrible - peeling walls, dirt on everything. "New manager" was terrible and seems to also be the house cleaner. His wife and kids were running around the rooms he was cleaning and no masks were worn. The hotel was loud with paper thin walls and we were fortunate enough to be below a bunch of meth heads tweaking out at 3a. bed was perfect if you love feeing springs in your back and TV was perfect if you brought binoculars. They also don't mention anything about a pet fee online until you show up so that was frustrating too. I wouldn't put my worst enemy in this hotel. It was that bad. Stay ANYWHERE else and don't be fooled by the pictures online or charming exterior.

Fuck this place. Get our room online, brought our puppers, and the website said pet friendly with them also responding with an email confirming it was okay. We go to check in and they told us no pits. Then they change up and say no pets at all. This place can eat shit.

I am giving this place a top review because of several factors. First the cost - it was reasonable - especially compared to many of the other motels nearby. It was clean and the room looked like it had recently been remodeled. Very nice! The fridge had a freezer unit - so i could freeze all my ice packs. I appreciated that. The only thing I would recommend to the motel is to have a lamp on the table so I could read while my husband slept. The only light was in the ceiling. But overall I was pleased and would stay there again.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Don't expect to sleep, shower with soap, go to the bathroom or watch tv in this old and decrepit hotel. FOR EXAMPLE-I was kept up from 1:00am -3:00am thanks to another guest in the next room vomiting loudly and moaning for most of the night. When I called the front desk to complain, the live-in Manager replied by stating that's not his problem as the vomiting man was a guest at the hotel next door! Either he is full of crap or that's exactly my point, the walls are paper thin and you can hear a guest in ANOTHER hotel vomiting?! Also mentioned guests on other side of wall yelling frequently throughout the night but that wasn't his problem either. This hotel gets negative stars and only got 1 star because that's the lowest they allow! Dirty floors. Dirty carpets. Urine on the bathroom floors. Dirty showers Bad plumbing-Shower water backed up when we showered Toilet clogged after one use had to call front desk to fix Poor water pressure on the sinks The heater/air conditioner was some cheap plastic box from Walmart set up on two pieces of wood The curtains would not close because they were ghetto-rigged and held together with tape (see pictures) No soap No shampoo (when I complained, manager said you should have told me the moment you arrived) I shouldn't have to tell them. When you arrive to the hotel, should be go to go. The managers (or owners) live on site and could care less if you complain. They will not accommodate you whatsoever. Don't waste your time. If you contact them, with a concern, they will find an excuse as to why it is not their fault and basically tell you to pound sand. Do not bring your children here! Room is gross I came with my 8-year-old and 14-year-old and they did not want to walk on the carpet without socks or shoes on as they were disgusted with the soiled, stained carpet. Toilet clogged. Tv remote didn't even work. Had to go to the front desk and ask them to punch in a code every day to re activate it. No channels. Tv shut off every five minutes as it was seemingly on a pre-set timer. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. We typically stay at 4-star and above hotels. However, I am confident a Motel 6 would have been cleaner and more comfortable.

Pet fee is not advertised on website, received notice that there would be a $45.00 charge for my pet after I made the reservation. To late to cancel. Most places charge $15.00 - $25.00. Room was dirty. Hole in the wall behind door. Shower floor had dirt or something stuck to it. It looked like the tile in bathroom has not been cleaned in awhile. Paint chipping off wall and baseboards were filthy. For $200.00 a night I would expect a little more. The motel from the outside looks very nice, "a little deceiving". No I would definitely not stay here again. I usually stay at the BW Victoria Inn, but had my dog with me this time.

Worst hotel experience ever. Got to the hotel after informing the staff that we would be checking in late. We were not given the room we paid for and had to drive home late in the night. The staff was unapologetic and rude about the situation. Do not stay here!!!

Hotel was just what I needed. Walking distance to town. Clean large room. Very polite at check in. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked a pet friendly hotel online. It is not! The hotel called at 10pm with us a half an hour away and cancelled after yelling at us for having two french bulldogs as only one dog is allowed per a room. If you are looking for pet friendly accommodation go to best western or their sister hotel casa menustru. This one was a headache and they are still charging me for one night with their unclear advertising.
