Inn on Canyon

My girlfriend and I stayed here we both thought it was a great little place the rooms were a good size and the bed was very comfy location was perfect we could walk to anywhere within 5 mins or so. Very cozy feel the staff was wonderful and the breakfast in the morning was amazing and made exactly to order!! Also offered free towels to use at the hotspfings which was nice. The wrap around porch with seats looked wonderful it was mid February so we didn’t sit outside but would be great if the weather was a little warmer!! Nothing but great things to say about this place and the price was extremely reasonable!! Would and will recommend this place to anyone staying in radium!!

Cozy, nice and clean. Extremely good value for money. As usual, some reviewers seem to equate a 5-star review with a 5-star hotel/resort. This B&B (which is NOT a 5-star hotel resort) deserves its 5 stars. Yes, the decor may be old. Yes, the poor lady taking care of breakfast cooking, cleaning, front desk, etc. might look a bit overwhelmed and disinterested. However, the overall experience that we had was way above what we expected after paying a B&B-level price. Great location, quiet, clean, plus a good breakfast (nothing fancy, but cooked fresh). Definitely leave a tip for the cook/receptionist!

I am extremely disappointed with the direction this Inn has taken over the past couple of years. What used to be a warm, welcoming place with great service has clearly changed and not for the better. Just trying to change my reservation was unnecessarily difficult. I had to send two emails and make two phone calls before anyone addressed it. Even then, they sent me another confirmation with the wrong dates. When I called a third time to fix their mistake, the staff member told me to “go online and deal with it yourself” and then hung up on me. That level of customer service is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the website is very difficult to navigate, so being told to “just do it online” is not helpful. It felt like the staff simply didn’t want to deal with the problem. The only bright spot during our stay was the wonderful lady who prepared breakfast. She was warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming—the only person who showed the kind of hospitality this Inn used to be known for. The rest of the staff could learn a great deal from her about how to treat guests. Unfortunately, the comfortable, homey atmosphere that once made this place special is gone. We used to enjoy staying here because it felt relaxing and personal. Now it feels like that charm has disappeared along with the customer service. Because of this experience, we will be staying elsewhere in the future. It’s very disappointing to see a place that once had such a good reputation decline so significantly.

We really enjoyed our stay at Inn on Canyon in Radium. Front desk lady was amazing and cooks delicious! The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy, and the location was perfect. The breakfast was delicious and definitely a highlight of our stay. The only downside was the carpet in the room, which didn’t feel very clean and could really use replacing. Updating it would make the room even better. Overall, a very pleasant stay and we would still recommend this hotel.

This review is going to be a looooong reading. We chose this motel based on the google ratings (big mistake) and its location. I wrote an email a month before our arrival to ask information about the winter holidays` hours in the area, never got any respond. When we arrived, everything looked as we expected from outside. The motel is in a walking distance to the main road, stores, restaurants, playgrounds. There was a beautiful deer in the parking lot walking casually. Nice first impression. The lobby looked like a furniture storage where we stepped in, the clock on the wall stopped, and the flyers were absolutely out of dates. There was a restaurant on the local suggestions which closed two years ago. FYI: Another is empty and for sale on the main road. The check-in went well with a not really communicative/friendly lady, but hey, everyone can have a bad day. Not to mention we arrived an hour earlier, so we were really grateful. We got a room somewhere (no instructions, no map, kind of treasure hunt) and we saw dirt on the wall (it took 5 secs to clean it), food under the table, scratches on the wall, huge gaps between the hardwood panels, two not working remote controllers to the tv, hanging curtain rail. The bedding was clean and new. What we did not notice in time: the bed had a missing leg. We talked to the reception, the lady came up and we got a refund for the first night and changed the room next morning. The other room was better, but the carpet was extremely filthy. The breakfast is the standard, nothing special. The same lady made the breakfasts, and the service table was everything but welcoming. There were some opened juice boxes, crystalized honey without serving tool, no label on the thermoses, and the garbage container was open and full for days. We learned that there was an owner change one/two years ago and we can tell that the new owner has not put heart into this inn. This inn definitely had better days in caring hands, but the 4.6 rating is not realistic at all. Also under staffing is a huge issue in the region, but I have a feeling that no one would say no for a reasonable salary with a little extra over the minimum.

I need to say the young lady at the front desk that served me was exceptional. The room was clean and beautiful !!!! My breakfast was perfectly done to the way l asked. Loved the wildlife lol eating out of the flower bed. 😊 Will definitely stay there again when l go next time. Thank you for the great service..!!! Keep up the good work !!!!

Had an amazing time at this hotel. The room is really cozy, clean and spacious. They do provide hot breakfast.

It is almost everything that I expected. The location, the quiet inn, beautiful sitting on the wrap around deck, and inside the cozy seats by the 'fireplace' and chess board for guests to use. The staff were welcoming and answered any of my questions in things to do around us.
