The furniture in the room, the amenities provided, and the view were of good quality. However, overall, the experience was greatly overhyped, and it certainly did not deliver value anywhere near the 300+ Euro we paid. We had rented a luxury double room. For the spa experience, we reserved the jacuzzi, but there was dirt in the water. We only stayed for about 10 minutes.
A couple with a 3-month-old baby had rented the family room next to our so-called ultra-luxury room, where an ultra-luxury experience was promised. As a result, the baby cried the entire night, and we woke up to start the day with zero sleep. For a truly luxurious experience, the property should be adult-only, or at the very least, there should be some consideration for children’s age.
The breakfast was a complete disaster. We had to try to communicate with someone who did not speak English. Despite telling them we do not eat pork, they brought us a plate of pork. Other than that, it was just an overly sweet yogurt granola that looked fancy but didn’t offer any real substance. You also don’t know what will be served or when—at one point, we had to get up and ask if that was all for breakfast.
Honestly, I never expected to be so disappointed after paying this much. I strongly recommend considering the opportunity cost before booking here, as the hyped-up experience by people prevented us from choosing truly amazing alternatives.
