Calm & peaceful - a blissful stay at Inn on the Twenty in Jordan. The building is a solid structure. Lots of open plan spaces, high ceilings and quality furnishings. Appreciated the addition of the cozy bathrobes. Large bathroom with separate jacuzzi bath and shower - spoiled. Lovely breakfast selection. A sleepy little village but lots on the doorstep of this classy gem of a hotel. Wine tastings immediately across the street and within a couple of minutes drive away. Excellent Salon Spa onsite with very experienced and friendly therapists. Can't wait to return.

Jordan has far superior wineries in terms of taste and atmosphere as compared to much more popular NOLA. Inn on the Twenty is nicely located beside its sister restaurant. Rooms are in great condition but VERY dated. Booked a garden suite that was supposedly renovated but had Grey full PVC dated shower enclosure with curtain, old corner jetted tub and 20yr old plus tiling. Room furniture also very dated along with purple bed accent wall and dicey small hot tub. Time for proper refresh given room charge

Incredible wedding venue. The windows room was gorgeous. Food is a 10/10, so was service. Hotel was great, clean and spacious. Grace toured us on the venue and was so nice to us. Kailyn was our coordinator who helped us feel ready and made the day of flow incredibly smooth. Madison was the best banquet server. Max and Charlie held it down serving and taking care of the bar. Kudos to all of the unseen staff at the hotel/kitchen as well, who made our day so great.

We visited the restaurant at Inn on the Twenty to celebrate a special occasion. I love the location, a quiet and clean street. Our party of around 40 was given a private room with multiple tables seating about six guests each. The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and had a pleasant aroma. The food was outstanding, and the service was highly professional. I highly recommend this place for large groups, small gatherings, couples, or even solo diners.

We had the absolute joy of working with Grace and Maribeth for our wedding at The Barns at Cave Spring Vineyard and our stay at Inn on the Twenty, and I truly don’t have enough words to describe how incredible they are. From day one, they made everything feel personal, seamless, and so full of care. Grace is organized, responsive, and somehow calm even when you're not—she has a way of making you feel like everything is under control (because it is). And Maribeth? Pure sunshine. She made our wedding day feel effortless, floating in with the kind of quiet confidence and kindness that instantly puts you at ease. Our guests are still raving about the venue, the service, and the warmth they felt. These two women helped create the most magical weekend of our lives—and we’ll be forever grateful. If you’re getting married at Cave Spring, you’re in the best possible hands.

This was our third time staying at Inn on the Twenty but the first time in the Merrit suite room. It was a nice sized room complete with a sofa and coffee table, fireplace, large bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub, king size bed. ||Like all the Vintages hotels, the room was nicely appointed with all the amenities you would expect in this class of hotel including robes and slippers. What was really fun was the private garden with an outdoor 2-person jacuzzi. Fortunately it was a mild Spring day so we used the jacuzzi both in the evening and the following morning. ||The only downside to the room is the television did not support AirPlay. It would have been nice to stream a show before bed on the TV monitor, otherwise you only have a choice between cable TV and some pay movies. ||Jordan is a small town but we've found several things to do in the area: the Cave Springs winery has a tasting room across the street and there are lots of wineries in the area, there's the Lincoln Museum with a historical cemetery and a staircase in back down to a short hiking trail, up the street is Balls Falls and access to the Bruce Trail, and just at the end of the street is the Jordan House tavern the often has live music in the evenings. ||I highly recommend the Inn on the Twenty for couples looking for a quiet romantic stay.

We were very excited about booking the Inn On The Twenty for our anniversary. The location allows you to explore many wine regions and several good restaurants. The hotel itself appeared very nice however, compared to other nice hotels or inns, I did not find the customer service lived up to expectation. The Front desk staff was not overly helpful (I had discussed that our wi-fi had not worked for the entirety of our trip, and the person in front of me in line also discussed that they had no hot water and I confirmed with the patron after). The front desk staff seemed more annoyed with these concerns/complaints rather than addressing or rectifying them. ||The unit itself was a nice loft unit with 1 bedroom with cozy bedding. The main floor had a washroom and living space. We were happy with the space, but would have rathered improved customer service in comparison to the increased space in the hotel room.

We has the greatest weekend getaway staying here. The service was exceptionnel. Our room was just beautiful fireplace and jetted tub. Even the little goodies left for us with a noté welcoming us back as we had our wedding here à couple years ago. Our personal coneirge was there for us at anytime we needed anything. We were surprised to à beautiful rose and turn down service when we returned after dinner. Little touches made this getaway even more romantic. We had room service for our breakfast pkg and it was all hot and delicious. |We took advantage to having a couplés pédicure to finish off Our stay at the spa!! Which was juwt lovely the staff very friendly and we had such a relaxing time sitting infront of the fireplace in the relaxation lounge enjoying à drink after our pedicures.|Highly Highly recommend this as a Romantic Getaway close to home!!!!

Yelp
This is one of the best places to stay when in the 20 Valley. It really cannot be beat. It's part of the Vintage Inns group, as is the Jordan House down the road. But it is truly somewhere special to stay. The rooms are very large and well appointed. We stayed in the Honsberger suite/room recently. It's a large King Bed room with a sitting room (not enclosed) and a fireplace with a large flat panel TV. the bathroom has a large jacuzzi tub as well as a stand-alone shower. (Water pressure is exceptional). Bedding and linens are so comfortable and the robes to wear while there are so soft and comfy. Staff is wonderful and there is a virtual concierge as well. You can also book an add on breakfast at their restaurant opposite (for an additional fee). I recommend this unless you are not a breakfast person. Note it is served from 8 to 10 am daily or you can have it in your room if you order it the night before). Very worth the add-on! The food was excellent.

Yelp
We have been to Inn on the Twenty a few times. First time was at their restaurant for wedding dinner tasting, which was amazing. Even though it was part of a wedding menu it was so tasty (also tasty on the wedding day itself) and we really enjoyed it. They provide great service at the restaurant as well. We were very happy with our time there! It also has an amazing view out the windows. Absolutely stunning. We've also stayed at the hotel, and it's lovely in the Summer where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the patio/garden. I would recommend staying here if you're in Jordan or considering an event with Inn on the Twenty. It was wonderful working with them.

Yelp
Fantastic, we had our wedding reception here and loved it. The food is incredible and to die for.

Yelp
Held our wedding reception here and it was amazing. Can't wait to come back for a dinner date with the wife now that we are closer.

Mary H.

Yelp
My husband and I have been coming back here every year for our anniversary-3 years in a row so far. The staff are amazing and we love the packages that they offer. The hotel has taken every precaution to make sure everyone is safe. The suites are beautiful and the service is amazing! We even booked for next year! We can't wait to come back!

Yelp
This restaurant is a true dining experience with unbelievable food, wine and service. They have a seasonal menu that changes regularly with a farm to table fresh menu. We love this place so much we recently had our wedding here and it was a remarkable event thanks to the unbelievable event and dining staff. I would highly recommend having an event here. They have two dedicated event spaces: one upstairs which has an unbelievable view, the other in their basement cellar. Both are beautiful. If you have a wedding here, you get access to the private vineyard off King Street which is breathtaking. We could not have asked for a better venue and our guest loved it as much as we did. We've stayed at their gorgeous inn many times which comes with an exceptional breakfast for two. I would give this place a 6th star if I could as its better than all the other 5 stars I have given :)

Yelp
Went to Jordon for butter tart and decided to have lunch here, nice place across the street from the INN the dinning room looks out to the ravine, I enjoyed the house made beef burger quite good with huge fries on the side, also had the lobster mac and cheese also great good chunks of lobster.

Yelp
This was our mid-point lunch stop on our wine tour with Toronto Wine Tours. Nice restaurant & I can only imagine the gorgeous views in the fall! Our brunch/lunch was included in the tour price & included an appetizer & entree. My choice was the salad (but when I saw the soup come, I wished I'd chosen that instead, it looked really good) my choice for the entree was the sirloin & garlic mashed potatoes! The steak was good, but it wasn't cooked as requested & the garlic mashed potatoes weren't served hot or warm, everyone who had ordered them, said they were cold!

Kayla S.

Yelp
We stayed at the Inn, ate at the restaurant and stopped in to the winery and had a fantastic weekend. We stayed in the off season (January) so if you don't mind the cold, it was a great time to go. The Inn itself was cozy, accommodating, and the fireplace was a nice touch. Their winery, Cave Spring Cellars was our first stop and the Sommelier was so helpful. The wines were great and he recommended some awesome spots. The restaurant is amazing - our meals were phenomenal. Plus, you walk a total of 30 seconds to get back to the hotel! Overall loved our stay in Jordan and would come back.

Yelp
I visited the Inn on the Twenty Spa with a girlfriend for her birthday recently. The weather was nice and I loved the location of this hotel! In amongst a bunch of cute stores and winery - the area is adorable! The vibe of the spa is kind is quaint. We arrived and the spa itself is kind of off to the side of the hotel. We waited in a little room and then we were taken to our massage room which we had to actually walk outside and in to the hotel, and then up stairs to this little room above the hotel! Pretty neat. If you had trouble with stairs it wouldn't be the place for you though! Our massage was legit magical. I can't say enough good things. We had an hour booked. Everything was relaxing, clean and super professional. My girlfriend really enjoyed hers too - it was a "couples" massage so we were in the same room. Once our massage was over the got some delicious white wine and a fruit tray with delicious dip to snack on. We went back to the waiting room and had our snack and drink. This was nice way to wind down from the massage actually - we quite enjoyed it. Overall the ambiance of the hotel, spa and overall Inn on the Twenty was really great - I will definitely be returning!

Yelp
Lunch was perfect! Ordered the P.E.I. mussels which were steamed in a wine and garlic cream sauce. Large, plump and perfectly cooked muscles with a savory broth to dip the bread in. I also had the fish and chips which was crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. Great flavor! The lemon came with a cheese cloth wrapped around it so no seeds would get on to the fish when squeezed. The fries were salted and tasty with a paprika ketchup which was good. Waiter was very pleasant and service driven. We sat outside which was so relaxing and a beautiful abience. The person I was with had the Winemaker's luncheon which was a 3 course meal and everything looked and tasted perfect. Tons of flavor and portions were satiafactory. We will be back to this restaurant and hope to continue visiting as it has made a perfect 1st impression.

Yelp
I must say, I love when I have the chance to write such overwhelmingly positive reviews, and this is one of those times. My family and I just finished the most stunning dinner we have had in some time. The decor is clean and beautiful and there is a gorgeous view out the back of the restaurant of the escarpment. The food is 5-star, but not for 5-star prices. Obviously, they have a great selection of wines, but above all else was the excellent service. I wish I could remember the servers name, but just picture Christoph Waltz from the Tarintino movies if he was a midget without the German accent... Either way, he was outstanding and super knowledgable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Lia K.

Yelp
I'm definite that I cannot do the meal justice so here goes our orders: REAL BUTTER as part of the breadbasket. yummmmmmm! parmesean & asparagus puree soup salad open faced steak sandwich w/Niagara gold cheese lobster claw, with shrimp & filet of bass on a bed of risotto (best...!) flourless chocolate cake with blueberry compote & blueberry icecream cappuccino. yea. food coma time..... each bite was incredibly fresh & packed with all sorts of flavor. Each meal was paired with a wine from cavespring's cellar. I liked their service and loved their food. If it wasn't a fine-dining establishment, I would have licked the plated. -_-??;;!! Pardon the less-than-usual descriptive post. PSSsssssSSsssSSsssT: its a 4 diamond restaurant since 2005

Yelp
AmaZing food and ambiance. Meat melted in my mouth like butter!

Lesley W.

Yelp
I attended a wedding reception here. The food, service and atmosphere were amazing. Everyone had a great time. The facility serves their own wine which is yummy! I'd definitely go for dinner if I was back in the area.

Yelp
This place came highly recommended...and they have plenty of "Four-Star Diamonds" plaques from AAA showcasing their accomplishments. We wandered in and waited to be seated (but kind of had to go find the manager in his office, to be seated). Special of the Day: Turkey breast with a caramelized glaze, gnocchi, asparagus, cinnamon apples, and Swiss chard? The gnocchi was good, but a little mushy. The vegetables were actually sauteed very well (not under or overcooked). The most disappointing thing though, was how dry the turkey breast was. I felt like I was eating day-old store, bought turkey. Hubs Steak and frites: steak was good, but came cut up in strips and a little bland. The frites however, with the TRUFFLE mayo was to-die for. The frites were different: thin and crispy, almost-chip-like! Service was good and weather was nice enough for us to be sitting outside. (This is totally not their fault), but the 5 million flies flying around our table trying to mate while we were eating was not appetizing. I wasn't wow-d, but it wasn't bad.

Soren S.

Yelp
We're here for our anniversary and it's lovely. The setting, the service, and of course the food and wine. Fresh seasonal ingredients keep the menu fresh time and again.

S R.

Yelp
Come Ice Wine festival time their pastry chef makes the most decadent and addictive butter tarts known to man: Ice Wine Butter Tarts I'm convinced that we could win the War on Terror if we flooded the remote corners of this world with these butter tarts. Note to Inn on the Twenty & it's Pastry Chef: please bake them on a regular basis, you will be doing humanity a favour.

Yelp
We had lunch at Inn on the Twenty during a wine tour with Crush on Niagara Tour. This was included in the price of our wine tour, the menu had a few choices for each starter, and main, and then had a common dessert. I enjoyed a bowl of sweet potato and butternut squash soup, followed by a tagliatelle pasta with chicken and mushrooms, dessert were small apple fritters with the most delicious apple butter to dip them in. My friend had the soup as well, followed by salmon with vegetables and a peach sorbet (she has celiac disease). The staff were very accommodating to her food restriction. The view from the restaurant is down into the Niagara Valley and it was beautiful with the fall colours. I'd totally go back and eat here again, we saw a lot of really yummy looking food going out to other tables.

Rand R.

Yelp
This is a very beautiful place to stay in a very quaint town very close to fine wineries and some great hiking. My room was very large with a nice sized bathroom and a separate seating area with a nice gas fireplace that really helped keep the room cozy. The service was very good and there is nothing negative to say except my room really had no view and there was slight noise from passing cars.

Chelsea A.

Yelp
The patio here is lovely with good views of the village. The service was also great - we had a good humoured waitress who made our visit a pleasure. The food was just so-so though. The flavours in my heirloom tomato salad were unfocused because it was packed with too many different vegetables - I also wasn't a fan of the large chunks of red onion in it. The Vintner's platter was good, but too heavy on the pickled foods.

Peggie W.

Yelp
We just came back from our wedding annverisary get away at the Inn On the Twenty. We stay there for one night last week, extremely quiet town. The scenary must be beautiful in the summer time. We had dessert that night, since we got there a big late. It was my first time having brie cheesecake, it was excellent. And my husband had Meyer Lemon Curd - first time having Riesling jelly, fabalous! The night stay was lovely as well, nice high ceiling style room - decor was traditional and CLEAN. Our stay included breakfast and wine tasting, star breakfast and lovely wine. Love their 2008 Riesling Icewine, oh SO GOOD.

Timber W.

Yelp
Tried to book a venue with them and they pretty much would not let us to choose anything from the regular or wedding menu but instead made some short crappy menu that was totally inadequate.. We even offered to preorder entire menu for all guests and were told NO.. well we are very disappointed and not going there anytime soon..

David M.

Yelp
This review is for the restaurant, not the Inn. My meal would have gotten 2.5 stars. This is a bit of a heads up for vegetarians. I was part of a group of 12, with 3 special birthdays ending in 0 -- 30, 50 and 60. Most of our group was very happy with this place, and I'm sure the majority would have given 5-stars, but here's my problem as a veggie. Of the 8 or so entrees, one was vegetarian and I wasn't interested in it. This isn't unusual in an exclusive place with a small menu, and usually accommodation can be made. I'm used to hearing "no problem, the chef could do this for you, or perhaps this". In this case, the waitress asked "what would you like"? After a bit of negotiating between what I liked and what they had, I ended up with linguine and vegetables in a tomato sauce. Not very exciting, but it COULD have been fantastic. It wasn't. Recent pasta dishes at Positano and Grano were better. (The butter lettuce salad was great, and the chocolate pot dessert was mediocre.) Again, this is a very good restaurant and most in our crowd were ecstatic, but if you're vegetarian (or are turned off by the principle of fois gras or veal on a menu*), this place isn't for you. *and I know NON-vegetarians who are

Fantastique J.

Yelp
Great food, great wine, fabulous spa and accommodations. Pleased to see that they could accommodate my special dietary needs (gluten-fee and vegan) with a delicious and creative meal. The spa offered holistic treatments with a vegan wildcrafted line and even offered long wearing shellac manicures which are Formaldehyde, Toluene and DBP (Dibutyl Phthalate) free!

Carmen W.

Yelp
Great Christmas buffet brunch. All you can eat, but you have to order the hot dishes you want, so the food it's not just sitting there, they prepare it for you. The food was delicious. I had the eggs benedict and salmon. The food at the buffet was amazing, different kinds of salads, cheeses, breads, and desserts. Beautiful view at the windows room.

Anastasia B.

Yelp
We've visited here several times, always for a special occasion, but our most recent visit was just for fun. We didn't have a reservation this time, but I would think that it would be recommended during the busy season or on a weekend. The space looks onto a beautiful ravine. There are three rooms in the restaurant, each done in light tones. They offer lunch and dinner seatings. There are table and banquette seating options. It's a really romantic setting, but I could see it working for a business lunch as well. Many of the menu offerings feature local items. One of our party had the Vinter's platter which was an assortment of meats, cheeses and vegetables ($19). As would be expected, the wine list is heavy with Niagara vintages. Lots of by-the-glass options. The service is always exceptional, even at large functions. Never a problem accommodating allergies, which I so appreciate.

James C.

Yelp
This place is seriously impressive, Great food, Good price, Impressive wine, and an Incredible view. if you feel like buying some wine, checking out some breathtaking art, eat some very good food, and indulge in one of the finest views to be found anywhere in Ontario, this may be the place for you. One word of advise be this to the Reader or to the Chef, this is the only thing even remotely negative I have to say. If you choose to go for lunch and get the Duck Confit Club, it comes with Lemon Aoli, this on it's own is great, its light but noticeable and I can imagine it would really perfect on this sandwich and many others, the problem is though that they put too much of it on your sandwich, it overpowered all of the other flavors heavily, to an unfortunate level. I am not saying i didn't enjoy my mean, I just would have enjoyed it more should this have not been so over used. so dear reader, (And to the Chef, Please take note.) ask your waiter/waitress to go easy on it, It's great just not great in high volume when you are dealing with delicate flavors.

Howard K.

Yelp
We were part of a group of 20 who visited for lunch, so this review related only to the meal. Ours was a table of 8, and individually we all chose the same from the luncheon menu - the soup de jour (cream of corn and apple garnished with goat cheese), the Ontario trout main course and the dessert of the day (field berry steamed pudding). The freshness of the ingredients, taste, plating (presentation) and service was exceptional.

Paul N.

Yelp
We were incredibly fortunate to have found Inn on the Twenty during our search for wedding reception venues. From the moment we turned onto downtown Jordan, we knew we had found the small-town feel that we were looking for. Our tour of their reception and hotel spaces didn't disappoint either. Their entire grounds are stunning, and while a long winter meant that we just missed having everything in full bloom, the windows in the reception room still gave a stunning view of the orchard and countryside, and the whole area was perfect for pictures. What really set the Inn apart for us was the service we received. Right from day one, our coordinator Sharon-Kay worked with us more as a wedding planner than a venue coordinator. Through the entire process, she helped with suggestions from her considerable experience and caught a myriad of things that we had forgotten or missed. She was able to provide a list of fantastic vendors that knew the venue and their processes, which took a huge amount of stress off of us. The last piece of the puzzle was the food. From the minute we started telling people we were considering the Inn, people started telling US how good their food was. We grabbed dinner at the restaurant one night, and the scallops we had were as massive as they were delicious. It was so amazing that we didn't even slightly feel the need to do a menu tasting beforehand. Despite having watched enough wedding TV shows to know that, no matter what, there would be people who didn't like the food - we're pretty sure every single one of our guests went out of their way to tell us how incredible their dishes were - including amazing vegetarian options. It made us feel great as hosts, and I hope that the kitchen staff take that for the compliment it is. The accommodations they were able to provide were a treat on their own. And because they're attached to the Cave Springs winery, the wine we served was top-shelf and we had the opportunity to provide our guests with very tasty favours. We really can't thank Sharon-Kay, Ann and Steve enough for all their work in making such a special day THAT much more enjoyable for us and for all our guests. If you're currently looking for a venue, you'd be doing yourself a huge disservice by not at least taking a look at the Inn on the Twenty.

Yelp
OK, so I now write my second review on this Yelp site and it goes out to On The Twenty restaurant in Jordan Village. If you never been here, I am a local its like Niagara on the lake before they got bitchy and stuck up. Lots of wineries, clothing, food, antiques and did I mention wine? The restaurant is owned by Cave Springs winery owner and local entrepreneur Len Penichetti. I eat out a lot for my pleasure and for my job. I mean like 3 times a week, every other week somewhere different around the world. I eat out at expensive restaurants where money has little meaning as long as my customer ordered more product and is ahead of last years sales and understand the Michelin star scale and believe that I have been to an one two and three Michelin star restaurant. This place in my opinion is in the top 3 restaurants in Ontario. It definitely caters to the wine crowd, No probs, as I am part of that group, so no biggy. Lots of parings and dishes with wine or local fruit slant, that is OK by me as well, we live in fruit land after all. The atmosphere and view of 20 valley is gorgeous year round with a 2 mile view down the twenty valley. The service is always excellent. The knowledge of great wine and food by the wait staff excellent. The menu changes every time I go, maybe monthly. I have been for breakfast lunch dinner and brunch. I have even had there catered pizza. The food is an eclectic group of different dishes with fish, meat and vegetarian all staying happy campers. Soups salads, desert are all equally given grace and delicate balances to entrees so that you cant remember what you liked more. I feel that is one of the criteria for excellence. All in all if you want an excellent meal and have a little fun with an afternoon in the little shopping village of Jordan located in Niagara in the tourist region known as the Twenty Valley then consider this restaurant as a sure thing! Rating on my scale: three out of three stars ("exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey").

Carla B.

Yelp
On the Twenty would rank high among the restaurants that populate Napa and Sonoma. It is set in a vineyard, and if you get a table by the window, you will have the pleasure of gazing at said vineyard while you dine on the exquisite repast. They use local, organic and fresh ingredients in their creative cuisine. Plus the requisite wines that the vineyard and other local wineries produce. There is also a hotel and a spa if you wanted to spend the night. If you are day tripping from Toronto, stop in here on your way to the Falls.

Saharat S.

Yelp
This food was solid and the service exceptional. It was a tad overpriced, but that should be expected considering the chic chic location. For those of us from the states, the quaint town is reminiscent of those conservative New England towns harbor towns--friendly, clean, "pastel-ly"---but still a bit stuffy. The short ribs were a bit dry and not sufficiently marbled. The pierogis were freshly made with a very soft and savory potato based filling. The tender duck was flavorful as well as the polenta. The same can be said of the steak which was a bit overcooked for medium rare. The yogurt cheesecake was a nice lighter version of the typically heavy dessert. The white chocolate creme brulee was very rich and well made. All in all a satisfying meal, but other than the service and views out the window, none of the food was truly special.

Lindsay R.

Yelp
I was here as a wedding reception guest. The venue for a wedding reception was amazing. The hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour were super yummy and great little tid bits of flavour, but the only problem was the room was a little small/crowded and we were far from the service door so we missed out on some because by the time they got to us the plates were empty. The salad as part of the meal was good, but nothing super special. The main courses were all amazing. I had the steak with grilled veg and mashed potatoes. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The chicken option was simple but very well prepared, although not what was described on the menu card. And the vegetarian /vegan option was a garlic and eggplant filo parcel on spiced lentils which was very flavourful and quiet imaginative (often my vegan friend just gets a stirfry or pasta). The room where the reception was held was nice and big and had an amazing view. The wine of course coming from the Cave Springs vineyard (where the wedding itself had been held) was very good. The Riesling white wine was actually amazing, I would totally buy it at the LCBO in future (and many friends went home with cases). Overall a great venue and a wonderful serving, bar and catering staff. I would definitely recommend it to others looking to plan a wedding reception, and I hope their regular restaurant fare is done so well.

Yelp
After reading rave reviews on this place, we decided to get a well deserved massage at their spa. I know my rating will only be based on the spa experience but it's worth it. I had emailed to make a couples massage appointment a couple of months ago. After various attempts I decided to speak to the receptionist. She was very friendly and bubbly and the moment I finally met her in person, she hadn't changed one bit. So this Inn is nestled in the small quaint community of Jordan Village in the Town of Lincoln. It would be part of what one would call "downtown" Jordan with a set of stores within about a 500 metre walking distance. The stores all support each other in one way or another. As we walked into the Inn, it had a very small town feel to it. A wooden covered walkway as you entered the Inn. It has a very romantic feel with it and with the slightly covered sidewalks and trees with snow, it is definitely a picture perfect moment. The waiting area was a small room with a few chairs and a couch. The couples massage was in a different area of the inn. We just had to walk outside for a brief moment and up 3 flights of stairs. It wasn't your typical urbanite spa. Very simple. It was diffferent in the sense it didn't come with the robes. We just changed in the room and left the clothes on the chairs. Kind of odd in a way when you're used to different types of spas. The massages weren't too bad. I had the one who was light and my gf had the one who was hard on her. Only if I could switch because I needed a deep hard massage. Our spa package included a bottle of wine and a fruit tray. The choices were a Chardonnay or a Cab/Merlot. We ended up eating the fruit tray in the area. I mean it wasn't a true couples experience. Maybe if we would've stayed in the inn, my view would be a little different. Who knows?

Yelp
I was here for lunch recently and left disappointed. Perhaps they were working with a skeleton crew as it was just after Xmas at the time. However, there were hints that it would be less than stellar on any given day. Most notably, leek and celeraic soup was simply not good, and the addition of hunks of a dryish boar sausage really didn't help. The two flavours just didn't work together at all, though perhaps if the soup had been more thoroughly warmed, it would have helped. Eggs Benedict was just okay. The ham was a bit dry and the bread was basically stale, store-bought English muffins. Smoked turkey sandwich was filled with fat and grissle. Coffee was not very good, but was plentiful. Overall my wife and I both thought that the meal did not live up to the restaurant's atmosphere. The food would have been more appropriate in a pub setting. Prices were reasonable.

Yelp
What can we say other than Perfection !! Outstanding meal, cocktails , house made bread and phenomenal service!!! Our server Kelley was attentive without being annoying in any way. She was so pleasant, accommodating and on top of her game and all our needs! The meal was excellent starting with a perfectly balanced butternut soup served on this unusual shaped white dinnerware . We shared an appetizer of lobster and shrimp layered in a tower of colorful and very tasteful layers of avocado , caviar, brioche, lobster and shrimp!!! It tantalized our taste buds and was a visual delight! Our main courses were the Beef tenderloin grilled to perfection served with a bone marrow butter. My selection was the scallop dish accompanied by an apricot chutney and a melange of roasted Brussel sprouts, bacon, escarole and tomato!! Our cocktails were equally delicious we had the Dillon 007 a variety of gin, bitters and lemon, also enjoyed was the Gold Rush a bourbon drink and St Germain with Dolomite Brut champagne ! Too full for dessert but I am sure it would have equally exceeded our expectations!

Yelp
We got married at inn on the twenty, so this review is slightly biased, but we absolutely love it! The restaurant is fantastic and the suites are lovely. The food is excellent- we have eaten here a few times and it never disappoints. The staff are very accommodating. The wine is great. Absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice country getaway for the weekend.

Yelp
This restaurant prepared the best meal that I've eaten in Canada. We went on a holiday Sunday and we received the staff and chef's full attention. I'm not sure if the quality holds up on a very busy night, but I can assure you that they are fully capable of delivering a culinary masterpiece. Moreover, the Cave Springs late harvest riesling is pretty spectacular. Now I have a case sitting at home.

Yelp
I dined here with family at night years ago and loved it. This visit our group numbered 3 for lunch. The restaurant used to be elegant but at this point it appears quite dowdy. In dire need of updating. I chose the chefs menu $32 and it was a disappointment. The greens to start were uninspired. The main course wasn't freshly prepared and I didn't eat it. The fruit dessert and the bread were tasty. I urge the management of the hotel to reinvest and reinvigorate the dining room.

Yelp
I am fairly new on yelp, but this place is superb. I say this because we ate here 15 years ago, and I yearn to return. My husband and I were engaged at the time...I still recall my venison meal...it was simply delectable. It's not something I eat often, but have enjoyed occasionally since childhood...sometimes a chef gets it right and at the time, my venison dish was perfect. My memory of our other selections is dim, but Inn on the Twenty got it just right. Waitstaff, flawless. Scenery from main dining area, breathtaking. Experience, priceless. We hope to return one of these days!

Yelp
This is for the restaurant not the Inn. Beautifully decorated and an incredible setting for a romantic dinner. My wife and I stopped in Jordan at the Cave Springs winery for a tasting and the restaurant is attached. It was recommended by a good friend who lives in the area. We went on a Friday night without reservations and got in right away. We were seated at a window seat overlooking the valley at sunset. Couldn't have been better. The server was very attentive and professional which is what I would expect at this calibre of dining. I had the veal strip loin- ehhh- OK- nothing special but decent. My wife raved about the arctic char. Regardless the experience was fantastic and I would have given 5 stars if the strip loin had a little more flavour. Overall, check it out and go early and have a tasting too. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
This was a perfect spot to end our NOTL weekend. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food did not disappoint. The daily soup was deemed excellent by all three of my lunch companions, and the brunch steak and eggs were also excellent. With three of us ordering that though, we did see three very different steaks come to the table, of different sizes. Two of us ordered medium and one steak was slightly more than the requested 'medium' but was still very good. The French fries were some of the best I've had in a long time. A real treat was also the extremely flavorful house-made ketchup and mayonnaise. Well worth the trip!

Yelp
We stayed in a loft suite for one night after a day of wine tasting in the area, followed by a 3- course dinner and breakfast the next morning. We also had spa treatments before checking out. The inn seemed understaffed as there was only one person working the front desk/reception. She was checking in guests and then escorting them to their rooms after, as other guests were waiting to check in as well. Not sure why on a Saturday there wouldn't be an extra person to help out during check-in times. Mind you, the reception woman was very nice and friendly and polite, similar to my impression when I was booking our getaway a few days prior - very helpful staff. The loft suite was charming, but it was confusing to figure out how to make the heat/air circulate evenly throughout the suite since the upstairs loft area gets really warm and stuffy. The TV and stereo were dated and I laughed that it was the exact same stereo I bought for myself in 1995, and I thought it was the coolest back then (double tape deck AND CD player!! woohoo). The bathroom was nice, clean, and big, but nothing really fancy. The shower was really dark, but okay. We opened a bottle of sparkling wine before we set off for our 8pm dinner reservation, we drank about 2/3 of it, and when we returned to the room after dinner (3 hours), our bed had been turned down, the room slightly tidied up, but no new wine glasses...just the sticky ones we'd left behind. Thought that was odd. Anyway, we showed up for our dinner reservation about 8 minutes late and apologetic, but even though the restaurant was half empty, they didn't have a table ready for us and asked us to wait at the bar, which we did and ordered a drink. About 10 minutes later, we were taken to our table which was right next to the window, so that was really nice. My hubby ordered the beef tenderloin off the regular menu and I ordered the 'feature', which was the ribeye - my favourite cut of beef! My hub's tenderloin was melt-in-your-mouth good and cooked perfectly as he had requested. My ribeye...wow. It was TERRIBLE. Never in my life had I ever been served such a thin, tasteless, tough piece of leather at a high-end restaurant. A ribeye is supposed to be marbley and yummy...I had to saw through this thin piece with a lot of effort and it was chewy and tasteless. I maybe ate 1/3 of it and the server never even asked me why there was so much left on my plate. I had trouble even believing it was a ribeye cut - it seemed more like skirt or flatiron steak you would get served with steak & eggs at a pub. Brutal. My potatoes and veggies were great though. Very disappointing dinner. Breakfast the next morning was great - eggs bene and fresh fruit and fast friendly service. Spa - I had a deep tissue massage booked and my hubby had a "gentleman's pedicure". Again, they were short staffed and my husband's pedicurist person kept leaving him alone for long periods of time and coming back apologizing saying that she was also acting as the receptionist. He had never had a pedicure before, so he thought this was normal. He told me he thought there would be a lot more to it and thought there would be more attention paid to him at a spa. He said she didn't even trim or clean his nails! My massage was great, but I also did NOT feel like I was at a spa. More like a salon-type spa, definitely not a luxury experience. The space had so much potential, but the staff needs to create an experience for their customers. I definitely would not want to spend half a day there getting treatments as my therapist kept leaving me to answer the phone and receive other guests that come in. Such a strange set up! Anyway, after having been to Langdon Hall and Ste. Anne's...maybe my expectations were too high? I guess overall the inn itself was good value for the money, but the restaurant and spa were way overrated.

Yelp
We had had a beautiful lunch here the year before and were so impressed, we decided to book dinner and a room after a trip to the Shaw Festival. The room was absolutely beautiful with high ceilings, a gas fireplace, and a sumptuous bed. The bathroom had a gigantic spa tub that we were really looking forward to after our meal in the restaurant. Dinner in the restaurant was absolutely terrible. The only vegetarian option on the menu was a pasta, which we both ordered. It turned out to be so poorly cooked that it was inedible--a good third of the penne (if that's what it was--the noodles were apparently made in the kitchen and looked like misshapen solid tubes) was hard and stuck together. It was tossed with peas and some kind of flavourless oil. We went back to our room with a bottle of wine we'd purchased at the wine shop, and ran the spa tub....only to find that the jets didn't work and the entire side of the tub fell off while the bath was running (we kind of propped it back up). We half-heartedly had a glass of wine in the bath that was just a bath since it had no working jets, and climbed into our sumptuous bed....only to be woken up every fifteen minutes by the loudest air conditioner in existence. We were really expecting something special because it is very expensive, but it was an enormous disappointment.

Yelp
Really cool dining experience. Took our son out with his mom and his girlfriend. Pretty fancy double date. Really great night out. The food was fantastic. The service was great. Not one if those fancy restaurants you need to top off at a drive through due to tiny portions. Great experience. Have gone back several times and the place does not disappoint.

Yelp
Fresh food, BUT turkey pot pie misnamed: really a think soup with few ingredients, unsuitable for a main course. Mussels were tiny. Server also forgot to bring a desert until reminded.

Yelp
Took friends there for a 45th birthday. I had been there a few ago. I was very disappointed. The staff, although very nice was very slow. I like to eat at a relaxed pace, but this was ridiculous. Some portions were very small. The birthday boy's food was so salty(and he likes salt), that he couldn't even eat it. By the time someone came back to our table to check on us, the rest of us had finished eating. Food was average at best, and not worth the money. I will never frequent this restaurant again.
