Inn Seventies

I staid there 4 nights. The room were very dark. Light bulbs were inefficient. In the day, you could draw the curtains, but at night, you couldn’t read! Service was non existent. Sheets and towels were changed every 2 or 3 days. In addition, it was supposed to offer breakfast, but there was none, even though, there is a dining room with a view on the top. They offered a 7,5 € per person per day when room was charged 170€/night! Situation was ok, but overall, it was very expensive for what it is.

Spacious and clean room in central location. There is a lovely roof terrace where breakfast was served and it turned into a sky bar in the evening for chilled cocktails. The host was lovely and made us feel welcomed. The room has a big comfortable bed and also sofa bed. There is a sink and a little fridge freezer. The bathroom is spacious with a strong shower. The breakfast was nothing to write home about but it is enough to give you a kick start to the day, the only hot item available was eggs made to order the way you like. We liked the central location with easy access to everything.

CAREFUL! They cloned our Visa card, after we cancelled our reservation. They tried to charge it with electronic equipment purchases online a few days later. We presented a complaint to Polícia Judiciária. BE VERY CAREFUL with these people if you decide to stay here! Avoid it as much as possible!

The studio was nice and clean, the staff helpful and friendly. Location is everything, right in the center of Lagos & 10 min walk to the beach. We could check-in early by asking nicely. There is a rooftop bar on top of the building - it is stated everywhere on the website, of course it means there is a little bit of noise! You really got what you pay for (read before you book).

I canceled this hotel via Expedia, it's been 2 weeks and they haven't refunded me. I contacted Expedia and Expedia called them and said that I'll get my refund soon, that's a week ago. I still have not received any refunds. Now I have to call them to chase. The listing on Expedia didn't say that it's Inn seventies, it is listed as lagos central studio. I only got the name from checking my visa statement. This is feeling like a scam. Very bad

BEWARE!!! We placed a reservation for June of 2025, with the options to “pay at property” and for free cancellation. The very next day we cancelled - as we realized we wouldn’t be able to travel on those dates. We were quite shocked to see that Inn Seventies went ahead and charged our credit card for the full amount of the stay!!!!! This is after we received confirmation saying that the booking had been cancelled free of charge!!! We are now having to work with the booking agency and our credit company fraud department to get the charges reversed!!!!! Very crooked practices!!!!!

The room we were in was dated they did not provide any toiletries, including hand soap. When we asked, they told us they would get them . During our stay 3 nights, no one brought any soap. On the positive Breakfast was good, and the staff serving breakfast were very good

Please beware of this property!!! We booked a stay for June 2025 with free cancellation and to pay at property. We had cancelled the next day and found the property charged us for the full stay. It is six weeks later, we are disputing with Visa and now they have billed us a second time for the full amount!! We have had to cancel our credit card and Visa is continuing to go after them!!!!
