Inn Side Hotel Kalvin House

Staying at this hotel in the heart of Budapest was a great experience! The staff greeted us warmly from the start, making us feel right at home. The hotel's classic Hungarian style, with its rich woodwork and vintage eastern European touches, added so much character to our stay. The breakfast was simple but delicious. Plus, the central location was a major selling point. We were just steps from major sights, great cafes, and the river. For anyone looking to enjoy Budapest's authentic charm with modern comfort, this place is a great choice. 5/5 recommend.

Booked directly with the hotel for a three day stay in Budapest. Although the building is old, it is well maintained. Our room was spatious and clean with new blinds/windows. The receptionist was very kind and accomodating, especially considering he had other responsibilities. A blind in the bathroom was stuck and he fixed it within a couple hours. Great location near the subway and the central market. We would stay again.

It is a great value hotel at a central location. It is very easy to reach any part of the city from the hotel within a reasonable time. There are also a lot of tourist attractions just at the vicinity of the hotel. The room I got was spacious, well-maintained and clean. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and nice, it even had an extra bath tub. It was a good experience overall. The staff and the services provided by the hotel were great. Two negative things I could bring up are the following. The fridge in my room was a bit too loud. It woke me up a few times during sleeping. The other issue was with the water in the shower. It had a bit too low pressure and it was hard to adjust the water temperature.

Booked this hotel as in the area where I stay everytime I am in BP. My favourite location. |Hotel is in a classic BP building and has everything one needs and can be accepted from such a hotel. Furniture is old style but website pictures make it visible. If you are a light sleeper take earplugs with you but as I am not had no issie at all. There was a technical glitch in the building that was outside of the hotel's control but how they handled it afterwards was great.Really appreciated.Can recommend this hotel.

Very quiet at night. Great location, not too far from airport or train station. Accessible public transport. Rooms are very prettily furnished. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Thank you once more for the pleasant stay. My only wish of improvement is making the entrance more wheelchair accessible but other than that no complaints.

+ Great location near the city center, market, and river. Clean room and bathroom. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Clear instructions how to get to the building 24/7. Good value for money. - Turning on the other side at night woke up half of the street - squeaky beds. Old building near the city centre so expect to hear every step you take - old wooden floors. Pack earplugs and you will be fine.

Just 1 minute away from Kálvin Tér and the metro lines. Great location, helpful staff, easy access codes as we arrived after reception had closed and clean pleasant room. I wouldn't bother with the breakfast option unless you really don't want to make the short walk out into the city where there are many more options and you can feel the vibrancy of the city.

Very nice old building with spacious rooms and the location was just perfect for visiting the city, we could walk to every major sight. Breakfast was also quite nice and we had access to the kitchen facilities. The staff at the reception was kind and helpful. Overall we had a lovely stay, would definitely recommend!
