Absolutely magnificent stay. I felt like the food was cooked by my grandmother and the bed was easily the best bed I’ve slept in during our trip. Staff also very friendly and accomodating.

We stayed here in august 2023. Hotel and the rooms are very nice - nicely designed furniture, super comfy bed, really nice calm environment. Its in the mountain village so there is nothing much around. The hotel has a restaurant which was full in the evening because there are limited dining options nearby. What was not worth the money was the breakfast - we paid extra 13€ and though the food was qood quality it was so little! Each of us got literally 2 slices of ham and cheese, 2 small pieces of watermelon and baguette, 1 croissant, 1 Joghurt, small coffee and juice and thats its (no egg/omelette), recommend to skip breakfast here and rather buy food in the Spar supermarket nearby.

In the town before San-Gavino-di-Carboni, I saw an old stone building being renovated and thought that they could be made to look great inside. At the Auberge, that's exactly what I found. The large room was beautifully renovated, perhaps a few months before? All the fixtures, internet etc. worked fine. TV was very small but who's there to watch TV? Very quiet room as the bathroom occupied the whole of the road side. Bathroom was very well appointed. Restaurant was more of a pizzeria (very good pizza) but also had steaks etc. I queried the bill at the end as Euro 89 for 2 people for 2 nights seemed too cheap! But it was right. Staff didn't speak much English but enough was understood and they were super helpful. Highly recommend the Auberge!

A somewhat quirky, but very nice staff at this small hotel. The rooms, and the place in general, were very well kept, and very attractive. We stayed here two nights, and were glad we did. The wifi worked well from the rooms. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good, and the breakfast included in the room price, was also good, and included fresh fruit. The hotel is located in the very scenic, quiet, and very small village of San Gavino--about 5 km from the busy tourist hub of Zonza. To us, the location was a plus. The two bedrooms of our group were on the 3rd floor. Guests should check with the hotel about other available rooms if stairs are a problem.

This old stone house was completely renovated with impeccable taste. The room we had was spacious and so was the bed which was delightfully comfortable. On the first floor, you can sit and have a drink besides the fire while talking to the locals. The service was efficient and polite. Overalll, we had a lovely stay.

Renovated old stone building. Most rooms require you to walk up 2 flights of stairs. There are 2 rooms which only require 1 floor walk-up. Rooms are charming and comfortable. Wifi is good. The only problem is that on Mondays, when we were there, the restaurant is closed. You need to drive in to Zonza as there as no other restaurants in town. Actually, there isn't much of anything in the town. It's all locals. Nice continental breakfast .

Nice hotel with comfortable and spacious renovated rooms in an authentic Corsican village. The hotel also has a restaurant where you can eat and drink for a small budget. Pizzas are cheap and tasty. ||The staff was friendly. Free wifi. Breakfast was basic (not a buffet) and is the only recommendation we make

We like the spacy room, the great bed, the immense bathroom, good AC, quiet surroundings, the view and overall location, the lovely people, the cutest kittens, the weather, the WiFi. |We had some difficulty finding it as the location on several websites is not correct. There's not much to do in the immediate area an only 1 or 2 restaurants in the village and a Spar supermarket, nothing else. We chose for this and we're perfectly fine as Zonza is only a few minutes by car. There are several bars, restaurants and several places for shopping. The restaurant in the Auberge is good as well, but a little expensive if you take anything but pizza.
