Inna Bali Heritage Hotel

Historical and a great experience if I can say. Stayed at one of the suite room where the first Indonesian president; Soekarno used to stay, the room is big, classic, and fancy, it feels like they are taking you way back to where it first build, which is in 1927! ||Other great leaders such as Queen Elizabeth, Mahatma Gandhi, even Charlie Chaplin ever stayed here, awesome! ||The staffs are friendly as well... ||Its a city hotel, next to a main road, enjoy!

Sadly the pictures from the booking are not up to date. Luckily we only stayed 2 days, else we would have cancelled it. The bed was very spotty and I hope it was washed. The walls are moldy and weird stripes from dirt and water are everywhere. The bathroom was old too, that means that the shower curtain was half yellow from age and the Bathub was peeling off. The only positive thing I can say about the hotel is that the toilet was clean and the workers itself were nice and courteous. I just hope that not all rooms looked like that. I am sure that the rooms can be easily fixed. Just renovate the rooms and it can shine again and maybe then we can and will come back.

This is a good cheap hotel in the middle of denpasar It has lots of history and a lovely pool. Lots of bad reviews but we had a good one night stay. Was clean enough and quiet.

Abandoned nightmare hotel. It was beautiful hotel long time ago, the lobby still looks OK, But room is absolutely terrible with black mold and stained bed sheets. I couldn’t even bring myself to use the shower because the bathroom was so dirty. The staff were nice and welcoming, but it was hard to ignore how filthy the hotel looked.

The Inna Bali Heritage Hotel is a historical hotel located in Denpasar, Bali. Back in the day, it was known as the reputable Bali Hotel, the first hotel on the island constructed in 1927 and was visited by well-known figures from all around the world such as Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Charlie Chaplin, Queen Elizabeth, Sukarno and Muriel Stuart Walker. The hotel's distinguished past is still palpable in the European architecture. To this effect, the mini museum inside the hotel's compound is open to the public. It houses artifacts from the hotel's early days, such as an old typewriter, and a menu from the hotel's restaurant from 1948, typewritten in Dutch and adorned with a pressed flower, preserved behind a framed glass. The hotel's premises are decorated with classical Balinese statues and paintings, and nostalgic black and white photographs of the hotel. In the main courtyard, there is an outdoors swimming pool for the guests to enjoy. This hotel's illustrious history makes it a great choice for travelers looking for some cultural input in addition to a great stay.

Coming here for wedding ceremony, it is located in the middle of the city. For parking space they have enough space. As it is an old hotel , the place is just standart but the dishes is good

They were short on staff extremely short. Pools not maintained nor were the garden. I had booked it cause of its antique value being one of the first hotels in bali. But it has no charm nor the looks of prestige as it sounds. I cancelled my booking even though i had to pay the full price. It was that bad.

I spent two nights at Inna Bali Heritage Hotel in December 2024.It was very enjoyable....This hotel is,I think,the oldest hotel in Denpasar and has a lot of character.My room was very large and clean and serviced daily.Sleep quality was excellent and the staff were super friendly....Breakfast was extra but was served in a lovely restaurant that was part of the hotel....I would be happy to return to this hotel and give it 10 out of 10.
