The Inna Bali Heritage Hotel is a historical hotel located in Denpasar, Bali. Back in the day, it was known as the reputable Bali Hotel, the first hotel on the island constructed in 1927 and was visited by well-known figures from all around the world such as Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Charlie Chaplin, Queen Elizabeth, Sukarno and Muriel Stuart Walker. The hotel's distinguished past is still palpable in the European architecture. To this effect, the mini museum inside the hotel's compound is open to the public. It houses artifacts from the hotel's early days, such as an old typewriter, and a menu from the hotel's restaurant from 1948, typewritten in Dutch and adorned with a pressed flower, preserved behind a framed glass. The hotel's premises are decorated with classical Balinese statues and paintings, and nostalgic black and white photographs of the hotel. In the main courtyard, there is an outdoors swimming pool for the guests to enjoy. This hotel's illustrious history makes it a great choice for travelers looking for some cultural input in addition to a great stay.
