Comedy of small errors, mostly the result of management decisions. Room has a kitchen, but poorly supplied if you want to cook even a little. Missing lots of basics--Knives but no cutting board, not one large bowl to mix in, no pitcher for tea, no ice trays or bucket to put in freezer, no strainer, etc.. Also no salt and pepper and almost no way to get it. No smart TVs to allow streaming. Pools close at 6 p.m. No towels at pool I went to. Fitness center was decent, but old and tired. Housekeeping showed little attention to detail. Never left us shampoo, left less than half roll of TP w/ no back up, light bulb hanging off lamp, etc.. Not enough hangers. Lot of little misses. Room was spacious and clean though. Shuttle service was a big bonus. Free guest laundry was nice, but no laundry basket. Golf Course in great shape (Copperhead), but a poor value because it's just not very memorable. Other courses probably a better choice. However, All of the staff I interacted with were great. Good food in restaurants. Beautiful tranquil property overall.

This is NOT a hotel! The check in lobby is dark and all is hard to find. The lobby is full of mold that MUST be addressed. There is mold in a lot of the rooms by reading reviews. When we arrived about 10:30pm it was difficult to figure out where to go. The hallway and building smelled like a retirement home and was very pungent. Upon arrival to our room the door had been left ajar with the privacy latch, TVs on and a couple of lights on. The bar stool had been moved to in front of the TV as if someone was just there watching TV. I called the front desk and they were not alarmed at all. In my opinion it made us very uncomfortable to arrive to a unit that made us feel amiss. The room was very clean. We stayed out of the hallways as much as possible due to the horrible smell that did not go away. When you think of a resort you think of a hotel. This is not that. This is a combination of apartment communities that are old and dated. We were very lucky to be in a room that the owner cared and had updated the kitchen. The furniture was gross and needs to be replaced. The wildlife watching, day spa and the maid service was the best thing about the stay. I cannot imagine that people come from all over the world for events here and the properties are not kept up and units, lobby and hallways smell so bad. The mold needs to be remediated professionally. Overpriced for the quality of what you get.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Innisbrook with Sarah as our event coordinator and everything was perfect! The property is well maintained and made a beautiful backdrop for photos! All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The sleeping rooms were clean and comfortable. Sarah is amazing and coordinated every detail! The banquet staff were all so kind and seemed genuinely invested in making our event special. Even the tram drivers (Kevin) were engaging and ready to help in any way. We are so happy we chose Innisbrook!

I had the best time playing at all the courses! Copperhead and Island were my favorites for sure. Big thanks to the awesome staff and restaurants. It was such an amazing experience! I'm already looking forward to going back. I've been telling all my friends that they have to visit this place.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Paid in full in advance for 2 nights in their Executive King Suite, verified on check-in that the room was paid in full, but they said they needed to put a credit card on file for incidentals. Go figure, 2 days after I check out I'm charged $90.40, when I call to find out why, they said "oh it's a resort fee", when I explained that I had already paid in full including $127.xx for taxes and fees and have the receipt for it she said she'd transfer me over to billing, go figure they don't answer. I've since had to file the dispute with my credit card to try and get my money back that they fraudulently stole, and there's not even a manager to speak to at this place apparently. Beyond that, they charge almost $1,000 to stay in that suite and we show up and they have a used up body wash (disgusting) and no shampoo in the room. We called down to get some more and were told they'd bring us some in the morning; terrible service, didn't even bother to apologize for leaving used soap and not stocking the room. On top of that, you can’t even get a tee time, the amount they charge for the old, drab, musty room, they have 4 golf courses and charge over $400 per person to play but can’t golf here; we tried to book a tee time (the whole reason we even booked the trip) a week in advance at Copperhead and they said it can’t be golfed because they have a tournament, one of their other ones is booked, they said they could maybe get me an 11:00 or an almost 2:00pm tee time. Ridiculous. I don’t have any plans to rebook and waste more money here, definitely not getting what you pay for. I could recommend dozens of better resorts that have nicer rooms, actually let you golf there, don't steal your money, have actual customer service, and get wayyy more for you money, and are happy to make up for their mistakes. Innisbrook is terrible.

Staying at this resort is like taking a step back into time into 1970s. We stayed at the Killarney building. The accommodations are old. Its smelled old, the walls and furniture and bathrooms are old. Popcorn ceilings! i haven't seen those in awhile. The first night had no hot water so took a cold shower. Everytime the AC went on, it would come on with a LOUD bang sound which would wake me up ever hour or so at night. The wifi needed rebooting as well. There are NO ELEVATORS so keep that in mind if you care about stairs or not.||Other than that, the SERVICE made up for the lackluster accommodations. Everyone there was extremely helpful and nice. Our bellboy carried 2 golf bags up into our room without complaints and our shuttle driver was extremely helpful. Check-in was a breeze.||The Golf course was fun. we played the South Course and Copperhead course. I found it REALLY weird that you need to walk across/behind tee-box #1 to get to the driving-range/putting-green in the South course. Their Locker-rooms at their clubhouses are as sad as their accommodations though. For the womens locker room, they do not provide anything (sunblocks, lotions, boxed-tissues, etc..) that i'm accustomed to in other golf-resort locker rooms, and THEIR shower is cold too!! Whats up with the NO hot water?? Copperhead course seemed in better condition than the South Course. South though is easier to play and less hazards.||I looked at their Loch Ness Monster pool, but didnt swim in it. It looked decently sized, but nothing impressive that I havent seen in other resorts so not sure what the big hype is. for a "luxury" resort, i expected higher-end pool furnishings.||Overall, I'm glad to experience Copperhead course, but wouldn't recommend to stay at the resort itself unless you're there for the golf and dont really care about the stay.

This was the bestest family holiday and golf experience ever. Everything about Innisbrooke was excellent. The room was fantastic. The staff were super friendly. The food was excellent. The golf and swimming pool facilities were excellent. We had an amazing time. Really recommend.

Yelp
I don't golf, so I can't speak to that aspect. As a hotel, it simply isn't competitive. It's spread out over a huge campus, and the streets are poorly lit and hazardous at night. Worse, many of the roads don't even have sidewalks. They do have a shuttle, but you can't rely on it for uniform response times. We asked for a bellman to help with check-in, but he never showed. Be sure to pad your exit time generously when you're ready to leave. Our suite has a cartoonishly huge living room but a tiny bathroom with almost no counter space. Otherwise it's fine. The WiFi is adequate once you get the password from them. At check-in, the guy simply didn't have the hospitality skills or attitude to orient a first-time guest. Fortunately there was another guy who was able to answer our questions and anticipate follow-up queries. I'll tell you the WiFi password now, since we had to walk all the way back to building where we checked in to get it: Innisbrook. Our room phones were both dead and could not be put back in commission, because "IT has already gone home." The restaurant food is quite good, though overpriced, and the waitstaff is excellent. Maybe Innisbrook is good if you're really into golf, but I'm not, so I won't be returning.

Yelp
Its a nice resort, if you are into golf. The rooms are not rooms, they are proper apartments. The place is far from tampa airport and expect 50 dollars by taxi. The place is quite and peaceful and the service at the main building is good. The shuttle service is sort of patchy and depending on which building you get your apartment in, is necessary for comuting. Overall, nice place if you play golf. Otherwise, you are better off staying closer to tampa.

Yelp
I lived here for several months when my daughter was little. I started in a suite that had a bedroom, small living area and a kitchen. It was cramped because we had all of our stuff stored in boxes in the living room until our house was ready but it worked for the time being. My daughter loved the pools. We often rented bikes on the property. Riding around the resort was memorable. I still remember my daughter crossing the wooden bridge and giggling with joy on Valentine's Day. I am not into golf but enjoyed the driving range and ate at all of the restaurants on property. The store was nice in that you could buy clothing with the Innsbrook logo. Somewhere tucked in the garage, I still have a small duffel bag from that store. The staff were wonderful ands would clean everyday. It was nice not to have to wash bedding and clean with a toddler. I would give anything to go back and enjoy that time for just one more day!

Yelp
Rooms can feel like converted Grandmothers quarters. We booked two rooms side by side which made it way better. Watch out because keys easily demagnetize so you can get locked out at 1am and there is no office close by. It's very easy to get lost in this location due to them have so many units - it takes a lot of awareness to figure it out. You enter from a guarded gate. Pool is incredible and fun. Totally makes the stay. Clubhouse restaurants are excellent and food is high quality and delicious. I had higher expectations from the website and online info but still a good value if you find the right price.

Yelp
Beautiful golf course . We came for the Valspar championship PGA tournament and it did not disappoint. Everything was well run, well managed and beautiful. What a treat this was.

Nican T.

Yelp
Beautiful resort. Clean and spacious rooms. The only negative was that surprise daily fee / charge. It does add up if you stay longer. It felt unnecessary and unwarranted. Check that fine print, folks

Steve E.

Yelp
My wife and I have been going there every year for last five years. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Housekeeping does an outstanding job. The property is well-maintained and we enjoy playing golf on all of the courses but especially Island. Three times when we've stayed Copperhead was cart paths only (aerating and preparing for the Valspar we were told) and it was a miserable experience so we stopped playing there. We love the Island course and we're happy with the South Course. We find the food in the restaurants to be very good. We did experience one problem - they disabled our room keys twice during our week's stay and we had to go the front desk to get them reactivated. Overall, I recommend this golf resort.

Ann D.

Yelp
We enjoyed our stay back in June. Room was clean and the executive suite is the way to go. It's nice to have the kitchen and table if you want to eat in rather than spending $$ for on-site to eat. The food on site was great but for breakfast it's nice to have coffee and bagels in the room. I hope to return next June for our annual golf visit.

Scott A.

Yelp
This is one of the best resort golf courses I've play in a long time. The Copperhead course was in excellent condition on 1/3/23. The greens were mowed and rolled that day. Some of the fastest and firmest greens which put a premium on being below the hole. The golf shop is well stocked with soft goods. Brands include Travis Matthew, Adidas and Peter Millar. Golf shop staff is helpful and friendly. Outside staff runs one of the most organized operations I've ever seen. Utilize the bag drop and make sure you let them know your name and tee time. After you check inside the golf shop your clubs will be staged and ready by either number 1 or 10 tee. Practice facilities are amazing and the range balls are in good condition. My only suggest is the golf carts could use a GPS system. The resort offers stay and play packages.

Will P.

Yelp
On 6/14/22, our foursome chose Innisbrook over other area courses due to its reputation as a PGA Tour stop. The PGA course (Copperhead) was closed. However, the pro shop attendant assured us that the Island course was in good shape and a very good alternative to the Copperhead course. They charged us $159 each and had us warm up on an alternate driving range, which was horrendous - small mats with no tees on an incline. The Island course was in horrible condition - the greens and greensides were unplayable and the fairways were spotty at best. The tee boxes were uneven dirt and there was no snack bar open or beverage cart until the 9th hole, on a day that was 92 degrees. I wouldn't even expect these poor conditions from a inner city municipal course. The rumor from disgruntled members is the owner of this resort is not putting much $ into it. Instead, she is using it to leverage the purchase of other resorts around the world. This is just a rumor, but from the looks of the 4 courses, it's hard to argue. I will no longer consider Innisbrook as a place to play golf.

Kevalyn C.

Yelp
The Innisbrook is a very nice get away. The check in process was really fast, and the front desk personnel was very helpful and courteous. The property is well maintained and has plenty of parking. There is so much to do and lots of childrens activities. There are several pools and restaurants. The only down fall is that some of the buildings need to updated, however they are clean. Very nice view of the golf courses.

Yelp
October of 2023 was my 4th visit ,over the last 30 years to Innesbrook. We make a trip with the same foursome every year. This year we decided lets go back to Innesbrook as we always had a great experience. We will never go back nor will we suggest to anyone to go. The only exception to this would be to experience the Copperhead track. As that was the only track that worth playing. The other tracks were terrible. Poor maintenance. The rooms are VERY outdated and are in need of updating. They also never told us that the Copperhead Pro Shop and more importantly the restaurant was going to be closed and under renovation. The food options for breakfast were also limited. And by the way the pricing for this trip has more than doubled since the last visit. The new owner, as I understand is a Surgeon from Chicago. Not that it matters but from what I can tell is that not much has been invested in the resort to keep it at the very least as good as it was when she purchased the resort. Shame on the owner for candidly ruining a staple in the PGA tour. I would suggest several other options: Doral, Reunion, PGA National, Streamsong. Far better choices in Florida.

Debra S.

Yelp
Regarding the golf, South course, Copper and Island courses all good. North in poor shape, don't bother. When you book be Sure to ask if any pro tournaments are coming. They won't tell unless you ask. The Valspar was 4 weeks out. Construction everywhere, rough super deep, and we had cart path only. Plus you pay extra for Copper ( and had to walk). This resort itself is very old. Rooms very tired, popcorn low ceilings, tiny bathroom. No elevators in the buildings. All staff everywhere was friendly and helpful. Food was good wherever we ate on site. Glad we came but won't be back.

Janis F.

Yelp
After hours of driving I arrived in the darkness which was problematic. When finally found building to check in, woman at desk how no idea how to direct us to the building our room was in. After wandering the grounds dog tired we finally found it. Unfortunately it had dirty sheets strewn around the room , bed not made, mattress filthy, no towels, bathroom had not been cleaned from previous guests. In the age of Covid I do not want just the sheets changed. I want room thoroughly sanitized. Found way back to check in. Sent to another building. Room was ready but antiquated. In huge need of a total rehab. Golf courses played were surprisingly in not the best shape and that's putting it kindly. I had so looked forward to going but thumbs down review. Will never return.

Dave M.

Yelp
I went to innisbrook resort last week. I had a $500 golf rangefinder that I left on my golf cart at the island course. I called the island course and was told that it would be with my golf bag the next day. It was not, so I spoke to several people who worked there and was again told my rangefinder would be there. I had my name on it and gave my phone number to the cart manager and thought my rangefinder would be returned to me. It was not. I was really disappointed as my golf bag was handled by the staff yet no one can answer what happened to my rangefinder. I would expect alot better service from a supposedly upper class golf resort.

Donna W.

Yelp
This was a great place, but the last few years things have been run down. Lately it's gotten worse because they plan on building houses and more condos, so they're north entrance which is off of Klosterman is falling apart. The gates that secure the property are missing a lot of their iron bars, both the entrance and exit at the security guard house does not have working security gate arms, so traffic is going in and out rather fast and some do not stop for the guard to check them in. Equipment in the guard house is not working and it's not being replaced because they're tearing down the guard house, but I would think they would need that equipment at the new guard house. Housekeeping does not even clean either guard houses anymore. It's a shame they don't treat their security guards any better than that and their residents are not as safe as they used to be.

Jim W.

Yelp
Golfed today on the Copperhead course and it was terrific. Despite the early morning rain the course was in great shape and the staff friendly and helpful. Definitely on my list to return and play again.

A W.

Yelp
Horrible service for the price!!!! Never again. Staff is extremely rude and the place is run down. Price is that of a five star resort and this is a two star. They charge a resort fee and the tv didn't even work properly!

Laura G.

Yelp
Stayed overnight for a wedding reception this past weekend. Disappointed is an understatement. Room was $320.00 with bridal party discount. We are from out of town and assumed a "resort " meant a Resort. Reception was great, went downhill from there. We were assigned a room over a mile away from reception and had to drive to find it. Apparently they have random rooms placed in condo buildings with owners. We were given a room on the third floor, no elevators. The building is so dated, should have been our first warning. We huffed our luggage up 3 flights and found our room....straight out of the 1970s. Musty, small, no balcony. The give away was the heat lamp in the bathroom. My mother in law has a condo in Clearwater built in the 1970s and has the same tile, walls and bathroom. We were charged a resort fee for nothing, we weren't there 24 hours and couldn't have used whatever the resort fee was for if we wanted. I understand this is a golf destination but if we played golf and were given that random room, I would be equally appalled. I would rather stay with my mother in law, she has a balcony.

Gary B.

Yelp
First off the staff and the food( breakfast and lunch) was very good. Rooms were average at best( no refrigerators, air conditioner very noisy, dated). Copperhead pro shop is tiny(not what I expected from a professional venue). Osprey(North-South)pro shop is much bigger with more variety. We played three days. Played South course Copperhead, and Island course. South course was in terrible condition ( you had to search for decent grass to hit off of). Copperhead was considerably better but not what you expect from a course the PGA plays on. Island course was in better condition than South but not by a lot. I would grade South-F Copperhead B- and Island C-. Overall very disappointing for what we paid. Did the same length trip last year at Streamsong resort. Paid a little more but it was fantastic!

Bethany M.

Yelp
worst service ever at the salamander grill!!! waitresses are the slowest and stand around most of the time.

Yelp
STAY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!! My fiancé and I needed to come to town for a wedding and thought we could use the relaxation a resort had to offer. We would've been more relaxed sleeping in a ditch on the interstate. We went out to grab some lunch before starting to get ready for the wedding, come back and find the card scanner on the door no longer works. We call the front desk and they first say someone is on the way. We wait 15 minutes and call again, now they explain they can't help us unless we come to the front and get new cards. They will not send someone to use a physical key to let us in. The new cards do not work when we go all the way back to the room because the actual scanner is not working. We call the desk again and they assure us someone is on the way. We wait for an hour and no one shows up, every time we call they say "someone will be there soon!" but no one ever shows up. We have to leave because the wedding is starting soon, but since all our things are stuck in the room we had to go to a mall and buy all new clothes, shoes, and other products to look presentable for a formal wedding. By some miracle, we only arrive 15 minutes late and only miss the wedding party walking down the aisle and a portion of the officiant speaking. At the wedding we are assured by staff that the problem is fixed and they even left the sliding door unlocked so we could get in if the problem with the door persisted (this was on the first floor so the patio is accessible). Our problems are finally over, right? Absolutely not. We enjoy the company of our friends at the wedding until late hours of the night since we believe the door is fixed. Once back at the resort, we find out that no one ever showed up to the room. We call security again and they essentially tell us to stop calling and hang up on us. We had to find another hotel to stay in at 3am and we had to sleep in our formal clothes. When we call the resort in the morning, we are informed that no one can do anything with the room unless we are there. But remember, they assured us they had already entered the room last night! If this was explained to us then, we would have understood and been able to already have a room at a new hotel in place or come back earlier to await security in person. However, the resort decided to lie to us and pretend they had helped instead of explain this to us. This was a trend throughout our whole visit. Once back at the resort, we have to wait another 30-45 minutes for security to show up to unlock the door with a physical key. They barely tried and my fiancé had to open the door for them because it was "too difficult" and they were about to leave us to wait there for who knows how long this time. I have never had such a horrible experience anywhere and would hate for this to happen to other people, please don't stay here unless you want to be locked out and treated like dirt by the staff!!! Now we need a vacation from our vacation since it turned into a complete nightmare all because of the Innisbrook Resort staff!

Nina W.

Yelp
This resort needs an update and professional staff. The rooms are worn out and in need of a do over. I hope things get better. Just checked in and can't wait leave. The bathroom is particularly awful. Reservation desk should tell you there are no elevators in the buildings.

Cher A.

Yelp
We just wanted a pure golf vacation. Courses were well kept, Island Course and Copperhead being the nicest. The golf staff was exceptional, helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet food was simply awful. It was pretty much just warm slop and you couldn't serve yourself. Good thing you could order off the menu (much better). They hand out these annoying vouchers for food when you set up a lodging and golf package. They were huge! There should be a less cumbersome way of handling the packages. You were limited as to what time of day you could use these mammoth vouchers, so if you're on the course all day, the lunch voucher is pretty much useless. The restaurants had very limited hours and not many to choose from for such a large resort. The rooms were super old, very dark, and very musty smelling. The golf was good though.

Claudia S.

Yelp
I've been to many spas in the area and this one hands down was the best! From the exterior you would not think so because it looks dated. However, The amenities are so clean the products are amazing. Ashley, the massage therapist I had was phenomenal. Clearly she has been trained in therapeutic massage. I also had a facial and it was top notch!

Ed H.

Yelp
I have an extra night in Tampa so I figured I'd spend two days and one night here playing Copperhead and just hanging out for food and drinks all day. The website won't allow me to add golf to my room so I figured I would just call and make the reservation, and maybe speak with the concierge about fun things to do at the resort. All options from the automated phone service lead to a long wait of advertisements only to be left at a voicemail box. I figured I'd try the concierge option...same result. Now that I see the other Yelp reviews I figure this may be a blessing in disguise. Looks as though there are many other options in the area that may be better. If they answer the phone they will already be ahead of Innisbrook. Sad day, I was really looking forward to Copperhead. If you like hearing Resort advertising that leads to nowhere dial 1-888-794-8627

Susan T.

Yelp
I was at the resort to watch the Valspar Championship Golf Tournament. The grounds of the resort are beautiful. They did a Tremendous job of organizing this event. From shuttling us in from offsite parking to activities to take part in while there the whole experience was phenomenal.

Deanna S.

Yelp
Needs improved amenities and cleanliness. Seemed like it lacked facility maintenance and basic repairs. Musty smell all over and the balcony had dead bugs on it when they could have been easily swept away. There were pee, stains on the white bed, cover, old soap, marks in the soap tray, found the bathroom floor had layered dirt.

Kathy S.

Yelp
With family living nearby, I've been staying at Innisbrook for nearly 30 years, through many owners, including Westin Hotels. Our recent visit was the week leading up to the 4th of July, 2019. Our one bedroom unit had recently undergone a fresh design update and was clean, and comfortable. Having a full kitchen is a time and money saver (there are many grocery stores nearby, including Whole Foods), and we used it every day of our week long stay. The staff always goes above and beyond, the Lochness Pool is a great escape, and the golf courses are top notch. The food at the onsite restaurants was delicious and the landscape is a sight to behold. My only complaint is the quality of the mattress on the new sleeper sofa. It was of a lower grade and not as comfortable as most mattresses available on the market today. An upgrade here would really make a difference.

Jonathan H.

Yelp
I played at the Copperhead course for a charity golf tournament and had a great time. The greens were in near perfect condition in preparation for the Valspar Tournament and the club house and staff were accommodating. One of my golf club head covers fell off my cart and the staff shipped the cover to my house. I appreciate their level of customer service. The locker rooms were nice too with sunscreen and showers available to players. Of course Copperhead was a difficult course and it took our group nearly 6 hours to finish all 18 holes, but I was thrilled to play at this course and can't wait until next year. I have not stayed at this resort, but will check out the hotel next time.

Yelp
I was at Innisbrook at the end of February for a corporate meeting. We had a group of about 350 people there. I didn't really like how everything is so spread out but perhaps that is the point of some of these resorts. They have a shuttle to take you from place to place, but that proved to be inconvenient and often untimely. Sometimes you would call and they would pick you up in 3 minutes, other times it would be 10-15 minutes. The resort itself is mostly outdated. I think there are some of the hotel type lodgings that have been updated but most are pretty old. We lucked out and got a huge two bedroom place that was very spacious but old. Our banquets and work functions were well staffed, especially at meal times. All of the staff were very nice and seemed to take pride in their jobs. It is not often you see that anymore. We also played golf and the course was not very nice. I thought that having a PGA tour event on grounds would mean that both courses are nice, but the one we played was not. It was no better than any public course you could play in any other city in the country. The bunkers weren't well kept. The fairways had weeds and weren't mowed to a congruent height. The greens were okay. My biggest complaint was the beverage cart. We saw one on our 9th hole, 10th hole, and 12th hole. That was it. We were given free drink tickets through our work function but didn't use them all because we didn't think the service would be so erratic. I can only drink so much in 3 holes! A truly average place with a good staff.

Yelp
Stayed her for two nights for a Nursing convention. The beds mannn-- I'll be dreaming about them for weeks! So comfy! The comforter is like a big hug. The suite had two queen beds, a mini fridge, dishes, and anything else you could want for. I was especially impressed with the staff-- it seemed as though they would go out of their way to do absolutely anything to make you happy. It did not matter if we were taking a bus to go from one building to the other, ordering breakfast, or checking in, the entire staff was more than accommodating and I could not have been happier. I had never heard of this resort before-- it is definitely a hidden gem!! I want to come back for vacation.

Yelp
A solid C. Good. Acceptable. Not great. Dated facilities. Confusing to get in. The courses were absolutely beautiful. Had executive king rooms. Nice size. Should spend a few million and update the place.

Yelp
If you are playing golf at the Copperhead Course, make sure you are staying at the resort! I came here as a guest and paid $325 for 18holes of golf and $75 for TaylorMade rental clubs. Since I came with two other friends who are PGA certified, they got on with a discounted rate and I was forced to pay $400 for a round of golf. Quite high I believe. I live in Scottsdale, AZ and our Five Diamond resorts stop at $275/Green Fee during Peak season. Besides the price, the course was in immaculate shape! The Valspar Championships were held a few weeks before we played our round and their management/maintenance crew brought the course back to Championship shape upon our arrival. My favorite holes on the Copperhead Course were the famous Snake Bite hole, the Bridge Hole, and the Mocassin hole. Not only was the course the most beautiful I have visited, the surrounding lakes and ponds are home to abundant wildlife, including fox squirrels, bald eagles, alligators, blue herons, and many other types of waterfowl. I was able to get a picture with one of many alligators by the Lake on Hole #3! I will be coming back to stay at their resort and watch the Valspar Championship the next time I am in Clearwater, FL during my March break.

Yelp
Having family in the area, I have stayed at the resort a few times in past years. After staying there the last few days, I cannot believe how run down it is. The room was completely run down, the towels are old and worn, one having a huge tear through it, the hot water faucet came off in my hand, the light didn't work, the coffee machine was filthy and worn and the coffee supplies were not replenished each day. House keeping service was only available upon request, which we did, and still did not receive the service until we called and complained. We had to drive to the main building to get coffee which was not complimentary to guests. I really am blown away and the lack of attention given to this property and it's guests outside of the golf course.

Yelp
May 28th, we booked a 3 night stay golf package for our anniversary onMemorial weekend and were thoroughly disappointed to say the least. When you think of a resort, this is not the place to stay. It was bad from the start, we paid extra to play at the copperhead course expecting it to be resort level, high end, since they just played a PGA tournament on it a few months earlier. It was a dried out fairway course with patchy greens? Now mind you I paid extra for this? No one greeted us, no one took our bags, nothing. We paid a premium for this course and you do not even get a yardage book? Our next big let down was the room. Not only is there no elevator, but you feel you have walked into an old folks home or something. Everything is dated and just has that smell of old. Well unbeknowst to us, people live in the buildings as well ? Had I known this was a retirement village/faux resort, we would have never stayed there. So after playing at the none spectacular CopperHead course that day we were checking into our room at 8pm. You would think that would give the staff enough time to make sure everything was correct, you know for a so called resort. We were going to shower and go eat after playing golf in the heat all day. We go into the bathroom and there is no shower curtain? Motel 6 has shower curtains. We also have no soap, and 2 towels. This is a very expensive resort we are staying at, 1,500.00 dollars and no shower curtain? Well we did find our shower curtain, it was in a clear garbage bag next to the toilet. It was stained and I assume was supposed to be thrown away but I guess they wanted to give us something for all the money we wasted. So after not showering, still wearing our golf clothes, we head down to eat dinner and I bring my shower curtain with us to the front desk. I let the front desk clerk know how disappointed I was since the minute we got there we were underwhelmed and that I was not paying for such horrible service that first day. She was as helpful as she could be and did get us towels & soap and yes even a shower curtain that evening. I had told her to have the manager call me the next day so we could discuss the situation. I never received a call from anyone for the duration of our stay, we did not receive a reduction or discount at all. I have disputed the first day charge with my credit card and they denied anything was wrong. All they want to charge you like a resort but give you less than Motel 6 accommodations/amenities. I have insulted Motel 6 and I am sorry about that. Patrick M.

Yelp
Non-golfing travelers be ware- these folks don't take kindly to those who don't golf. Bought a weekend away on Groupon - fair price, centrally located but didn't spend any time in the resort due to the rudeness of staff and golfers

Yelp
Upon arrival, we walked in to the apartment to find garbage on the kitchen floor. The closet when you first walk in was broken as one side would not close. The sliding screen to the outdoor patio was broken. It wouldn't move without great force and screeched when moved. The closet in the mother-in-law suite was broken and wouldn't open without great force. The draw next to the sink outside the bathroom in the mother-in-law suite was broken. The air conditioner unit in the mother-in-law suite did not work. It never went under 70 and was as high as 73. We had to go out on our vacation to buy a fan to stay cool but the fan was not enough. The doors to the kitchen cabinet below the sink did not close properly. The heating light fixture in the bathroom had tissues surrounding it. Without knowing about it, the heating fixture was turned on several times. This created an extreme fire hazard that could have killed my family and tore through the complex.

Yelp
Visited innisbrook as part of a twice a year guys golf trip. Golf courses are amazing but nothing else is amazing. The service is terrible. The most basic of questions confound the employees here (is the Osprey restaurant open today). The buildings are old and have a feel that the resort is cutting corners at all costs. And it's expensive. We will not return.

Yelp
I made my reservation of a Suite 3 bed room with Innesbrook in March for a stay in July. We checked in on Sunday July 24 for 3 nights. upon arrival at 11 we were told our room was not "quite " ready (which we knew and planned on hanging by the pool) and they will call us when it's ready. Time goes by and it's now 3pm, I called the front desk and was on hold for 40mins. I hung up and called again and the operator connected me with someone. I was advised that part of my room was ready and the other half was being cleaned. We waited a bit and went to the front desk at 4:17 and Dottie told us again part of our room was not ready. she gave us keys to the one section of the room that has one bed. Keep in mind my party of 7 with 3 kids under the age of 10 we're tired!! Dottie advised she will call me when my other part of the room is ready. she confirmed my cell #. my family made the best of the 1 bathroom we had to get ready for dinner. it's now 6:15 and no call so we go to dinner. we return to the front desk at 8:45pm to be told by Judy they sent a bellman to the room to bring us keys to the other half of the room. we asked why wouldn't you call me on my cell like you were supposed to do when you realized we were not in the room. she had no explanation. Getting keys to our room at 845pm is not acceptable and something needed to be done for our inconvenience. Judy advised she would have her manager Dottie call me first thing. Now it's Monday and we received a call from Dottie at 3pm (not first thing) and she says she sent a bellman and called my room ( I had no message left at my room) and no one answered well of course not because its 630pm and we had to eat dinner and keep enetertained until our other half of the room was ready. anyways Dottie wants to argue and tell me that half my room was ready so they will clear the resort fee 100$ and credit me $100 for my inconvenience. I was not happy and explained I should be compensated the first night. it was not my fault my SUITE 3bedroom was not ready. I didn't book 2 separate rooms and she wasn't getting it. she advised that Jackie her manager would be back on Wednesday at 9am and we can speak to her then. Fast forward it's Wednesday we are now checking out and arrived to the front desk at 8:59am to speak to Jackie and was told she's in a meeting with managers until 10(how convenient) and she will be available for an hour from 10-11 and she can call us. Well at this point we're frustrated as you can imagine and walked away with$200 credit when our total stay was $1200. Oh yeah and it's Saturday, 7/30 and no call from Jackie yet and we also callEd the GM Michael Williams at 727-942-2000 and left several messages with his Exec Asst Christine and still no call back. We only want what is the right thing to do and waive the full first night of $335. Considering in 3 days we spent over $4000, including $600 in golf and we were supposed to get our $60 on bike rental refunded and still nothing. This was our first stay and our last and it's unfortunate. Also the resort has no elevators and is not ADA compliance. we had to help 2 elderly ladies up 3 floors to their room with their luggage. Such a horrible experience.

Yelp
Our 4 day stay for a conference was very relaxing. Our room was very comfortable and large. Daily serviced and quietly faced the back of the green, lots of privacy. The ground are beautiful even though we are not golfer the atmosphere was perfect. The best thing was The Market Salamander Grill. We had breakfast lunch and dinner here so can equally say the food was positively delicious. BIG "shoutout" to DESIREE for taking care of us at dinner. She was lovely and even though it was a very busy crowded evening. We never felt rushed or left unattended, her service to make our dining experience enjoyable was perfect. From drink select & dinner. We were too full for dessert Thank you again

Yelp
I stayed here because the Aquatic Conference I was going to was held here. They have several different types of rooms. The most basic room has 2 queen beds that are very comfy, a dresser, desk, 3 piece bathroom & a separate sink, plus closets. However there is NO fridge. I felt that the room was cramped with all of the big furniture in there. If you want a fridge you would have to upgrade. There are several pools that are different sizes on the property & several places to hold a wedding or a decent sized event. The Loch Ness pool was more for families. They have 3 golf courses plus a practice/driving range. You can take the 'tram' around to the property if you wanted to try out the spa or one of the 3 restaurants on the property. It is a very beautiful property, with a wildlife preserve & nature walk. If you are a golf fan, I say go for it. This property is on the Pro Tour list. If you are looking for a conference event site, I say it will serve your needs if you have at least 650 people. Not sure how it would do for larger than that.

Yelp
Disappointing stay - we will be checking out early. The Island course is in terrible shape. The room is remodeled but we didn't appreciate the critters, dirty room and clogged bathtub. The only bright spot is the Packard Steakhouse.

Yelp
I have been staying here off and on for about 5 months now; due to my husbands work! Honestly, JACKIE at the front desk is AMAZING! She is always so polite and will always work with what's best for you and your family! I cannot explain how much she has helped my family by moving me rooms to this specific area that works best for me; (I have a toddler so going up stairs was not ideal and she switched me to a bottom floor)! The resort itself is amazing! I recommend getting a suite, they have a FULL kitchen, plenty of space and they are all updated! The golf course is so nice (we don't even golf) but I go walking every morning and it's amazing! The wildlife itself is something else. Innisbrook shows the real Florida! They do have a park and mini golf (needs some updating but it get the job done). Each area has its own private pool which is nice in case the big Lochness Pool is closed for cleaning or if you just want more privacy! The Lochness Pool is AMAZING for ALL ages! The pool food is so good, they have a bar as well! The pool is a nice walk in pool great for young kids with a sand pit! There is a also two slides and a huge hot tub! The resort also is GATED! Which is ideal for safety! Tarpon Springs is a must to visit! Publix (grocery store) is 2 miles! Very close to everything! Cannot express how many memories as a family we made here! We are so thankful especially to all the staff for being so polite and helpful!

Yelp
Rooms are very old and outdated. Just feels very tired. Service and hospitality not very sharp. Staff was argumentative when I questioned things like why they didn't have shuttles to take guests to their rooms when they had an on-site concert. They just said "sorry its really busy." Not very well planned to handle a concert on property. Didn't think through all of the logistics to take care of guests. Defensive vs being solutions-oriented and focused on customer experience.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing place for relax with family. Service was 5 star, stuff super nice and helpful from moment we call for reservation . We stayed 10 days and it was a best vacation so far! We really enjoyed pools and jacuzzi, food was delicious in restaurants and drinks as well. Really appreciate room service and front desk guys. Tennis courts are incredible, we had so much fun! Thank you again for this amazing place, we will be back soon!

Yelp
Great amenities and options. There are 4 different golf courses, 5 pools and numerous options to eat and drink. Prices aren't as bad in their Pro Shop as I've seen elsewhere. Staff is super helpful and its pretty easy to get around as the signage is very good. Courses are difficult, especially Copperhead!
