Highly recommend as a cozy getaway in the perfect location close to the Hopewell Rocks. We were lucky to score a last minute room at Innisfree but apparently that is rare so book ahead! Darren was incredibly hospitable and a great chef. The included breakfast was incredible (mushroom and cheese omelet and fruit). The dinner (extra) was sublime and made with local ingredients, some of which were grown at Innisfree. The room was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The location is incredible. We were able to visit the Hopewell Rocks 3 times during our stay due to the close proximity. Traffic in the area can be slow in the summer so it was amazing to be so close to the rocks.

We where surprised by a warm welcome from the host/chef. Lovely B&B, well cared for and close to Hopewel rocks NP. Since we checked in early, we could still enjoy the cooking skills of this Chef in the evening. The breakfast was also very well taken care of.|It was a pity that we had to continue our tour through Eastern Canada after one night.|Worth a recommendation.

We stayed for 2 nights at Innisfree in the Garden Suite where we had everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing stay. The suite was clean and well appointed with pation doors leading to the garden where we could relax.|Darren is a great host and a wonderful chef, breakfast and dinner were both plentiful and delicious. We loved the lobster sea food pasta it was perfect.|The Innisfree B&B is idealy place to expore Hope Well Rocks and the Bay of Fundy, so near that we were able to see both high and low tides during our short stay.

We stayed 2 nights, but were only able to have one night of Darren's excellent cooking for dinner. Definitely book dinner there if you can. Breakfasts were equally delicious and varied. The banana and blueberry pancakes were scrumptious! The room had plenty of space, and we especially appreciated the 2 chairs for seating with a good size table in between. The ceiling fan was a nice plus, as most places don't have them. You can't get much closer to Hopewell Rocks, which is why we were in the area. Highly recommend this B&B!

Well. If you are in this area, you can’t find a better place. Darren owns and operates the most immaculate and comfortable B&B I’ve ever stayed in. And he makes dinner too, if you arrange it ahead of time or early in the day, which is delicious (he’s is a trained chef, among other talents). The breakfast is terrific too. There are lots of special touches (such as a pile of cozy blankets to use if you sit out on the porch) that make this a very special place. Go here!

Darren was an amazing host. He is a second generation chef and it really shows. All of the little details were nicely done. We took the dinner option (as did most guests) and everyone seemed to love the food. He even had a selection of half a dozen wines and several beer. A+ !!

Our one-night stay at Innisfree was fabulous. Located just minutes from Hopewell Rocks, it’s a perfect place to stay for a visit - tickets for the attraction are valid for two consecutive days allowing the viewing of both low and high tides so it’s an ideal solution to experience both easily. We were met upon arrival by Darren, host and chef at Innisfree. He greeted us warmly and showed us to our room - this doesn’t always happen so it’s nice to have that personal touch. I always appreciate these little nuances. Darren is a great host and has time for all guests, despite a hefty daily routine. We opted for dinner (at extra cost) on our arrival night, and Darren’s culinary talents were exceptional. I’m not a particular lover of salads, but the starter was a gastronomic delight followed my our mains choice of Asian Smoker Chicken. The ambiguous dessert of “strawberry and rhubarb creation” was the perfect finish to a wonderful dinner. I was a little concerned initially about the cosy dining room and how many guests would be eating together, but it naturally allowed us all to chat about our trips and we met some great people from different countries. Our room was suitably equipped with toiletries in the bathroom, decent sized fridge, kettle plus tea and coffee. We slept well and there was no outside noise. We enjoyed breakfast again with our fellow guests. The fruit selection was fresh, and our mushroom omelette was delicious. Darren chatted with us afterwards about his time as owner of Innisfree. He is a passionate B&B host and the place is a testament to his hard work. I cannot recommend Innisfree enough, you will not be disappointed. If I had to choose one negative…. I wish we could have stayed longer!!

My wife and I stayed at Innisfree Bed and Breakfast for three nights in mid-September on the fourth leg of our Canada Maritimes road trip. We arrived mid-afternoon and we received a warm welcome from Darren, who showed us around our room - the Cat’s Meow suite up the stairs above the dining room. ||The suite was well-sized, with a sitting room area and a separate bedroom. In the sitting room there was a couch which could be made into a bed, as well as two arm chairs. There was a half-sized fridge which was very useful although we could hear it humming whilst we were going to sleep. It was helpful to have a kettle to make our own hot drinks and Darren gave us fresh milk as needed. The bedroom area was spacious with ample room to move easily. We found the bed to be a little on the soft side although that is a matter of personal preference. There was adequate storage for our clothes. The ensuite had a compact shower compartment which was a bit tight for comfort. In our suite the wifi was very fast and reliable. We were not affected by any noise from the road in front of the property. However, with people chatting in the dining room below us after dinner we were disturbed whilst we wanted to read. I guess this is inevitable in a building with so many hard surfaces.||We enjoyed the breakfasts which we sampled - each day we had a bowl of fresh fruit salad followed by a cooked dish - omelette on our first day, blueberry and pancakes the next and poached eggs on our final day. The meals set us up perfectly for our outings. We also had dinner on the first night - Darren always offers a blackened chicken and a lobster pasta entree. The food was great but the lack of choice meant we would only eat there once, preferring to sample a variety of dishes. It was our most expensive meal of our trip so far.||This bed and breakfast accommodation has been ideally located to explore the Hopewell Rocks - a great attraction which we visited twice in a day to see at high and low tide. Fundy national park is well worth a day trip. We were surprised how scant the services were in the immediate area - for fuel, groceries and restaurants a trip to Alma is needed, at least a 30 minute drive and even there options are limited.
