An iconic stop for ice wine lovers. Our first winery stop in the region. We arrived shortly after opening and found a few groups already sipping wine on the lawn. Plenty of parking, and unlike some other wineries in the area, no drawn-out tours or gimmicky tastings. Just a straightforward, well-run setup. We went with their standard three-wine tasting ($25–$30 depending on the selections), which allowed two dry wines and one ice wine. Since it was still early in the day, we didn’t want to start with an all-sugar lineup. Inniskillin is a pioneer in Canadian ice wine and Gold Vidal was where it first started. So of course, we tried their signature Gold Vidal, which was described as bright and peach-forward. Unfortunately, we found the sweetness a bit overpowering. Our favorite was the Cabernet Sauvignon Ice Wine. Still rich and sweet but with a touch of red fruit depth that made it more tolerable. All the dry wines we tried were relatively mundane. Nice bonus: tastings come with discounts on wine purchases over a certain amount. Since we picked up a few bottles, we got $20 off our total (just over $100).

Had a great time visiting Inniskillin! It was our first time coming here and we were very impressed. The property is beautiful. There's an area for the restaurant as well as the winery - which is what we came for. The wine selection is fantastic! You can order per glass or try one of their sampling options that give you multiple drinks. The showstopper was the Icewine! Wow! Absolutely delicious. The staff is great and super helpful. We didn't feel rushed or silly asking questions about the wine. Inside the winery, they have a nice size retail area with all the wines available for purchase as well as other gift type items. Would definitely recommend Inniskillin if you're touring the area! Grab a glass or flight and enjoy a beautiful day outside on the property.

I visited Inniskillin vineyard as part of my bachelorette celebration, traveling from the Dominican Republic with two friends, and it was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences we’ve ever had. The vineyard is absolutely stunning, but what made the visit even more special was our tour guide, Leron. He was beyond incredible; kind, funny (very funny), deeply knowledgeable, and so genuinely passionate about what he does. He took the experience to another level, making us feel not just welcomed, but celebrated. He even added a personal touch to our little bachelorette celebration that we’ll never forget. The tasting was equally amazing, very educational, especially for beginners. We learned how to properly taste and appreciate wine in a way that was both approachable and fun. This experience is worth far more than the price. Between the beautiful setting, the thoughtfully designed tour, and Leron’s unforgettable energy, I’d recommend it to anyone, whether you’re a wine lover or just curious. It was the perfect way to celebrate such a special moment in my life!

Google
I have tried their wine a few times on restaurant menus over the years, but it was my first time visiting. Lovely winery, friendly staff and beautiful grounds with a picturesque patio. Did a tasting, the standout by far was the Vidal Icewine, this is the best I’ve ever tasted, perfectly balanced, sweet but not overly sweet and not too syrupy like some others I’ve tried. So good I bought 2 bottles, can’t wait to enjoy!

Forest cost during the week at 2pm plenty of parking and no wait for takings. They had plenty of seating outside in the shade. Vineyard viewable from all the outdoor seating. Wine selection was great the Chardonnay and ice wine were great.

Google
My wife and I have visited many wineries, and this one easily ranks in our top three. The vineyard views are absolutely beautiful, and the entire property is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. There's plenty of parking, which made the visit even more convenient. The staff, especially our waitress and hostess, were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to teach us about ice wine and explained how it differs from standard wines, which we really appreciated. We had lunch on-site, sampled several wines and ice wines, and ended up purchasing a few bottles to take home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend this winery to anyone looking for a great atmosphere, great wine, and great service.

Google
We did a tasting of four wines at this vineyard as part of an organized wine tour, and it was by far the most enjoyable of the three we visited that day. The staff was kind, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the setting was absolutely beautiful.

We toured the Inniskillin Winery. We were lucky to have a private Korean-guided tour just for our family, which made the experience feel even more special. Although I was familiar with Inniskillin wines from seeing them in Korean Air’s in-flight duty-free catalog, seeing the winemaking process, grape harvesting, and the wine cellars firsthand brought a unique charm. Under the warm sunlight, we had a chance to taste their ice wine, and its sweet, rich aroma filled our mouths—a truly special experience.

Yelp
Inniskillin is truly a fantastic winery. We stopped her during the ice wine festival and were not disappointed. I was not drinking but they had a great mocktail. My wife loved the Vidal ice wine and the chicken and waffles we had were great. The space is very cozy and the staff is very friendly as well.

Yelp
This was our first stop of our wine tour because there was a lot of ice wine. I got the ice wine flight where you can pick any 3 ice wines. I picked 3 Vidal ice wines and they were all great! The wines were very sweet and easy to drink. I ended up buying a 3 pack of mini ice wines because they were so good! All of the staff were kind and helpful with deciding what wines to pick. The grounds itself were gorgeous and we would have loved to come back at night to see the light tunnel all lit up!

Yelp
I can see why the nice wine at this particular winery is so popular. Granted this was the only ice wine I sampled, but it was delicious! Vidal ice wine is their most popular and famous, but I personally found it too sweet and preferred the iced Riesling. It was delicious and less sweet. We each had a 2 table wine and 1 ice wine tasting (which was the Vidal). We also ordered a separate 3 ice wine tasting with Gold Vidal, Riesling, and Sparking Cabernet franc. The Riesling was definitely my overall favorite. I was also pleasantly surprised by their delicious food. My boyfriend and I shared a jerk chicken sandwich and beef brisket sandwich. I especially liked jerk chicken sandwich; it was well seasoned and cooked. I also enjoyed the fresh and tasty side salad it was served with. Their service was also fast and efficient. The dress here ranges from casual to formal.

Yelp
When my friend and I stopped in Niagara On The Lake, we had no idea it was such a famous wine region. We were seeking out dog friendly vineyards, and this one came up on our list. Inniskillin was pristine, and some of the best service I've ever had. They have rooms available to rent for events, and a ton of outdoor seating. Their wines were wonderful, as was their food. The team working there were so kind and helpful in making recommendations. They also were very considerate in checking in to make sure our needs were attended to, as well as making multiple trips to give us fresh cold water for our dogs. We had such a wonderful experience here and are looking forward to returning in the future!

Yelp
Beautiful venue! Our server, Yuna, was informative and lovely to talk with. She guided us through a nice tasting of Inniskillin wines. They offer a wide variety of white, reds, and ice wines. There's something for everyone. A few food items can be purchased-crackers, dips. I believe a charcuterie board may also be purchased during the less busy days. The grounds are beautiful with nice outdoor spaces and I can envision them bustling in the summer!

Yelp
Pricey yes but quality amazing. A bottle of ice wine is about $90 for 375mL but I can justify it. The Ice wine Vidal Gold (white wine) is so smooth and sweet and fruity and flowery and no after taste or bite. It feels like honey. It tastes like heaven though I don't know what heaven tastes like. So do a tasting and see what you like to take home to take advantage of the season for ice wine making. Remember they only get one drop of wine per grape when it's frozen. So it's painstaking work in -8 degree weather. Fun place with light festivals and food with wine tastings and private lunches and dinners.

Yelp
Great place to relax and taste some wine while you learn about wine as they grow and make wine around you. You can do some wine tasting, take a wine tour or just take some nice pictures around some grapevines. Great and knowledgeable staff keeps you interested and drunk, I mean entertained. Not really for the kids though. Ice wine is the best here.
google avatar

Brandon S.

Yelp
Very cute winery with a small tasting room and plenty of outdoor seating. We visited during the off season so I don't think it would be fair to judge it beyond that it was a cute winery and perfect stop while on a wine tour of Niagara by the Lakes .

Yelp
We enjoyed our ice wine and table wine tasting here. It's not as fancy as most of the places we visited back in Napa or Europe - you fill out a slip of paper at the counter and pick up a tray with your wines of choice and drink in essentially the lobby/main room of the winery which had a busy atmosphere but wasn't crowded. Service was minimal as we stuck to our table, but you can approach or stay at the counter to ask the staff any questions. It's extremely affordable compared to most of our wine tasting experiences comparison, especially if you have a Visa 'Infinite' card which is one level above Visa Signature. Since both my partner and I have the Chase Sapphire Reserve which counts, we each got BOGO wine tastings to split with the family which was a pleasant surprise! Maybe these perks are more common in Canada, but I'd never seen it in the States. The sparkling cabernet franc icewine was our favorite, along with the discovery series SR riesling. The sparkling/still vidal is too sweet but could be good if cut into a cocktail, and the baco noir was our least favorite.

Yelp
Inniskillian has a great 45 minute tour with tastings to offer it's visitors. James was our tour guide and he was a great tour guide; very knowledgeable about the wine process, history, and overall amicable. He took the time to answer our questions and and share his knowledge of the wines we tasted. James also gave us good recommendations for restaurants around Niagra-on-the-lake. I would definitely recommend the tour since it is an excellent deal and would come again! My knowledge on ice wine has definitely improved.

Yelp
This particular winery was recommended by a bartender at our hotel in Niagara Falls. The outside of the winery may seem plain and little barren compared to the other wineries in the area but once you are inside the tasting room none of that matters. We opted to just do a tasting- 3 pours ( 2 wines and 1 ice wine) for CAN $25. With a purchase of a tasting, you also get $10 off towards your purchase of wine. The Riesling and Pinot Gris were both smooth and bright. However the standout for me was the Cabernet franc ice wine.

Yelp
This is our favorite winery when visiting Canada. If you haven't tried the infamous Ice Wine yet please come here! They have plenty of wines to taste and nice seating areas. The only thing I wish they did have was the ice wine slushies! We've never done a tour, just came for a tasting, but the waiters were very informative.

Abigail W.

Yelp
Beautiful vineyard with great ice wines. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and were able to take our small dog into one of the tasting rooms. I was searching for something that reminded me of the greek Vinsanto wine and out of all the vineyards, this was by far the best quality I found. Our only complaint is the price. We paid $25 for 3 tastings and they were very small. I probably would recommend just a glass at that price.

Yelp
We enjoyed our wine tasting here. It seems to be one of the more popular wineries in this area, and it was crowded at the bar. The staff was very kind and doing their best to get to everyone. We took our tasting on the patio and bought some bottles (ice wine) to take home. Can't wait to come back again!
google avatar

Lani L.

Yelp
We booked a tour and were quite disappointed with the experience. I think it is slightly dependent on the tour guide you get (which is terrible - there should be a higher quality, standardized training). Our guide did not know much about the wine making process, and could not answer the majority of questions people asked. He would always mention a bottle or a machine and say "this is more than I can ever afford," which I get it, but it's quite unprofessional and uncomfortable for people who came to learn about the winery. We also did not get to see many parts of the site, as they were all behind some doors that were closed. Another negative is that you can't choose the wines to sample on the tour, but you can in a tasting - the tour is even more not worth it.

Yelp
If you are curious to learn more about dessert wines or already are a fan, Inniskillin is your spot! They set the standard for Canadian dessert wine in terms of both quality and the overall experience when you visit. The winery is organized and a nice space to visit. Their staff really knows the product and can make recommendations. Be sure to take home a bottle of the classic Vidal ice wine or sparkling version. Both are something special!
google avatar

Yelp
My sister and I are visiting from the US and wanted to check out a winery. We drove around and decided on this place. As soon as she placed our flights on the bar she directed me to pay. A couple walked up behind us and she prepared their flights, placed them then walked away. I watched as other patrons did the same. Hmmm, could it be that we are the only people of color here? And of the 5 choices I selected, only 1 fit my pallet of dessert wines. #NoTip #NotHappy #WillNotReturn
google avatar

Arash R.

Yelp
Everyone knows Inniskillin obviously. The history and experience they have results in impeccable wine. If you do go for a tasting, you can feel the job market impact. The staff are two groups, the few with long years of experience, and the new hires. The newer staff aren't trained properly and can't really provide a tasting experience which corresponds to the quality of the wine. I would return however, because you can find very unique wines here that aren't available in your LCBO offices.
google avatar

Joseph H.

Yelp
Not sure I can say much about this place, but we arrived 30 minutes before closing to be told that they had already re-corked the bottles and stored them. Was a disappointment because they had another group in there that was drinking, and this place had been recommended by my wine instructor from UNLV. Sadly, I can't say that I recommend this place due to the lack of hospitality and poor perception. They are known for their ice wine, and considered one of the best. Maybe next time I will be able to experience a more adequate level of hospitality, and try the highly talked about wines.
google avatar

Olivia W.

Yelp
Solid winery - we come here every time we visit NOTL. They have good whites, reds, roses and of course their famous ice wines. Service is hit or miss depending on the day and time, be prepared to maybe elbow your way to the tasting bar on a busier day.
google avatar

Crystal T.

Yelp
Love Inniskillin and their ice wines. I love coming her to learn about the history, the final product and everything else in between. I joined to be a part of the great estate club member so I'm looking forward to more amazing experiences with them. The only tiny bit of disappointment is that they are currently sold out of the sparkling - they do taste amazing, so it's not really a surprise.

Yelp
Had the most wonderful experience at Inniskillin this Sunday as part of my treat yoself day (which included wineries, lunch, and a show at Shaw - I recommend this plan to every and any Rochesterian!) I pulled up at 10:30am and was immediately shocked by how stunning the grounds were, and how expansive the winery is. A large boutique and tasting room, and rows of vines to walk through for your extra special Instagram moment. I enjoyed the table wine flight, which if $5 unless you opt to buy two bottles of wine, which I absolutely did after tasting. I am not an ice wine fan and was nervous this experience was going to be a bust for me. ABsolutely not! Their standard whites and reds are gems themselves, and I particularly enjoyed the reserve sauv blanc. The employee I worked with was a student at Brock and SO knowledgeable about Inniskillin's offerings, in addition to general recommendations for what else I could do with my day in Niagara. I will likely only go to the Falls en route to this incredible town, and I can't believe I had never been until this weekend!

Yelp
Really enjoyed this winery! We were warmly greeted by the hostess and directed to their outside covered patio. We got a cheeseboard which was enough to split between 4 and a pitcher of their white sangria which was very tasty. We also did a flight of their white wines but the pours were very tiny. Nice atmosphere and if you like ice wines this is the spot for you.
google avatar

Maya L.

Yelp
Came here for a wine tasting as they were known for their ice wines. We got a ice wine flight and another set to share. The ice wine was great and very sweet. All my friends and I agreed that the sparkling Vidal was by far the best. The ice wine tasting set was $20 and the other set was $15. The environment was nice and the experience was great. We ended up buying some of their signature Vidal ice wine at the end. I would recommend this place if you enjoy ice wine.
google avatar

Melissa C.

Yelp
We chose to visit this winery because they have ice wine, which the region is known for. The ice wine was very good, but the process of getting a tasting was a little confusing. You enter a room with both shopping and a bar area with a register. It was a little confusing figuring out whether to pay at the bar or the register, and it took a minute to get anyone's attention. Once we did, we selected all ice wines, and brought out flight outside to the tent. Tip: there were a ton of bees at the tent. One went directly into a glass of wine, so that one was done. We loved the ice wine. It was unique and very sweet. If you're not into sweet wine (I love sweet wine), I would stay away from it. We ended up buying a bottle to bring home and save for a special occasion. Heads up, the bottles are pretty expensive. The bottles are about half the size of traditional wine bottles, and the cheapest one was I think $80. I understand that wine is expensive and that this is a unique find, but it's not one that you would buy every day due to the price and sweetness. Definitely stop in if you want the signature Niagara-on-the-Lake experience.

Eric W.

Yelp
Great experience. We already knew the reputation of this winery. We did a boutique tasting. We tasted all the non sparkling ice wine. Not a bad one on the list. In fact, all really good. Our favorites were the riesling ice wine and the cabernet franc ice wine. Staff all friendly. We will be back.
google avatar

Jenna P.

Yelp
My family and I did a wine and ice wine tasting at Inniskillin today, and we had a great time. The views were beautiful and the wine was delicious, but what truly stood out was our incredible server Doug. Doug was very knowledgeable, super friendly, and he even made us laugh. Honestly we didn't have the intention of purchasing any wine but we ended up leaving with a case and some bottles, thanks to Doug's exceptional service.
google avatar

Pascal P.

Yelp
The wine tasting and service was incredible, the staff really knows their product and as weird as it may sound, the poutine here is one of the best in Ontario. Please indulge in their ice wine Vidal brand, especially the sparkling one, it is a treat for your taste buds
google avatar

Yelp
My friend and I visited the Inniskillin winery during the Days of Wine & Chocolate Event in Niagara on the Lake and we had a really good experience. When we arrived at this winery I was absolutely famished so I was really excited to try the Dark Chocolate Chile with White Chocolate Sour Cream and Green Onions. It was made gluten free and I took a lactaid pill so I could enjoy the white chocolate sour cream. This dish was absolutely fantastic! The chile was cooked perfectly; It was full of flavour and really hearty. My only complaint would be that the portion was too small. The white chocolate sour cream added another level to the chile that was really surprising. I thought it might be a weird food combination but the chile and chocolate tasted really good together. The white chocolate didn't make the dish too sweet and it went together really nicely with the chile. This food and wine paring included a Merlot, which I really wasn't a fan of. It wasn't as smooth as I would have liked. On the other hand, my friend really liked the Merlot so it is possible you might like it as well. If you get a chance to go to any of the wine festivals in the Niagara Region, I highly recommend it.

Yelp
We rode in on our rented bicycles and took a load off. I'm quite glad we did, because this winery has things that others did not. For example, the fare looked, sounded, smelled fantastic. There was a Southwest Bean Salad that seemed all the rage. After eating, wine sipping and selfing the snot out of yourself in the rows of grapevines, your respite doesn't have to end there.. On hot days (like the day we went), it's also a good idea to pick up one if there frozen sangria pops. The pops have grapes frozen inside them. I suggest you sit under one of the shaded picnic tables and knock it down instead getting back on your bike like I did (Not only did the frozen pop make my hand really sticky, but I kept getting pulled over by the Ontario Providence Police for DUI. It's not what you think- apparently, due to the fact so many Canadiens operate vehicles under the influence, I kept getting fined for having too low of an alcohol by volume, which I knew was this issue, but I messed up my math because I didn't convert my numbers to the metric system, liters by volume. What are you going to do?).

Yelp
Inniskillin is a household name when it comes to Niagara wine. We made it a point to make a pit stop at here on our trip down to Buffalo for the weekend. It was a beautiful sunny day, so it was no surprise to see a lot of people enjoying some grape juice. There's no better way to enjoy the weather than by having a few drinks out in the sun. The staff was very helpful and friendly during our visit. They gave us two containers of ice and water to keep the wine chilled, knowing that it was toasty out. We tried two different variations of their Riesling, and the consensus was that the reserve was the better of the two. The grounds had an amazing setup with tables set up outside the winery. Perfect place to catch the rays and enjoy some food with your drinks. We ordered some fries to snack on while we went through the bottles. The Riesling itself was not overly sweet which the other was. The reserve Riesling is definitely one of my favorites now after trying it. The vineyard is family friendly, lots of space for the little ones to run around. They even set up soccer nets on the grass that not too far from the tables for kids to go expend some energy. Check this place out if you're in the area! It's well worth the stop.
google avatar

Faiza K.

Yelp
One of my favourite wines comes from here (Late Reserve Riesling), so it was on my list for the Discovery Ice Wine Pass. This is a large and supremely popular winery, so check your patience at the door. There is a tasting section off to the side. As some other reviewers have mentioned, this winery felt more commercial than boutique like (not necessarily a bad thing). It's a bit pricier than some others in the area, but the variety they have here (tends to be drier wines), you can't beat. You'll surely find something to satisfy you. There is a HUGE parking lot - not a big surprise since I saw many large bus groups here.
google avatar

Keiko M.

Yelp
Great vineyard! I got free wine tasting and tour tickets at Sheraton. They charge $10 each, if you don't have free tickets. It's about 45mnts and 1hour. It was sunny day but winds were cold. The tour stats from the shop, outside, inside, outside, and the shop for tasting. I tried white, red, white ice, and red bubbly ice wine. I like the white ice wine. It's about $100CD. Taste: Good. Ice wine especially. Price: Pricier. Customer service: Great. Parking: Free. And massive. Location: Many vineyards around here.

Yelp
Very comfortable setting and professional service by Andria. Good prices for flights and lovely background music. Stop in while in the Niagara on the Lakes Vineyard tour!!

Yelp
This was one of the wineries we visited as part of our Zoom self-guided wine-bike tour and it was a great experience. This was one of the larger wineries we visited and we were very pleased with the experience. They have a large outdoor area with picnic tables and food you can order and enjoy with your wines. This was great as one of the stops since our daughters were able to enjoy lunch while we sampled the wines. We cane back with our car after we were done with the bike tour to buy a couple of bottles of wines.

William D.

Yelp
$20 for tasting 3 ice wines. The weird thing is the server in the tasting room offered no information, no conversation, didn't even show the bottle and label. Just brought the poured flight to us and invited us to go outside. I want you to tell me about the wines ! The wines were good and I bought a couple bottles. being from the Paso Robles wine country I think I know how a tasting room should run and I thought the experience of visiting the winery and tasting were poorly executed. The kitchen was closed also. We went to Oast brewery and had a great beer and BBQ.
google avatar

Vicky B.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Saturday for a tour. The tour lasts about 45 minutes and is $5 but includes a tasting. Our tour guide said that normally only 3 wines are included in the tour tasting (a red, white, and ice wine) but on Saturdays you get a 4th tasting as well. We lucked out and got to try a champagne ice wine which goes for $120/bottle, so good deal. If you buy a bottle of ice wine afterwards, the $5 tour ticket acts as a $5 off coupon, so essentially the tour and tasting was free when you buy a bottle. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgable, and I liked that they covered all areas - the vineyards, wind machine, production, and storage. Learned a lot of tips about vines, storing wine, and how ice wine changes color with age. She also went over the 4 S's during the tasting which many other places don't do. I'd stop in again for more tastings and wouldn't mind spending the money on the ice wine tasting.
google avatar

Matthew G.

Yelp
This is a classic and one of the "founding fathers" of icewine in the area, so we just had to stop here. They have a whole separate bar just for icewine tasting, and the flights are interesting -- including multiple varietals of vidal, riesling, cab franc, and cabernet sauvignon, and even sparkling versions -- but pricey. The icewines were good and we enjoyed tasting them, but docking one star because the pricetags are way too high and this place has more of a corporate feel than some others in the area.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
A small place but the staff are friendly. There is a long bar where you can taste 4 groups of wines for $8. They have a bunch of different wine bottles and other items for sale here. I didn't see any discounts on anything. Paid tours were only a few times a day in March but they said they run every hour in the summer.
google avatar

Jayden P.

Yelp
Beautiful vineyard, beautiful wines. We had a great time on the wine tour and the wines we got to taste were delicious! I've always wanted to check out Inniskillin and getting the chance to finally do it was AWESOME. Their property alone was a feast for the eyes. We can't wait to try the wines we got. Thanks for having us and sharing your history and delicious wines with us!

Jennifer M.

Yelp
We were just here this week and it was still just as amazing as the first visit last September 2016. The grounds are lovely, and the Ice Wine bar is the absolute best! I didn't really care for the table wine bar or the lady serving at that particular bar, but the delicious Ice Wine & friendly guy serving there more than made up for it!!

Yelp
Let's be frank.. many people who come to visit from the States pretty much think all they have at Innskillin is Ice Wine.. well that's all that's pretty much sent to the American Marketplace. Guess what they do way more than that. Vintage Year Ice Wine, one made with Cab Franc and They BOTTLE RED AND WHITE WINES. They do a Meritage, Cab Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Riesling and yes Cab Franc. The outside is deceiving as you are like ok some vineyards, some big white barn like structure.. alas as you make your way.. they have lots of outdoor seating, foods and get this they have Fresh Oysters and someone who shucks them.. no joke. They have other treats like a long roasted beef sandwich and other things. You can get a bottle of wine to drink outside with glasses and a big ice cube like holder for your wine. They have a large tasting room and it's busy and they have all kinds of wines and etc. Also they have a private room to have a more intimate tasting at the Riedel Room (this company Riedel makes the best wine glasses) where you can have a more private food and wine experience. It's a real gem but it gets rather busy at the tasting room. Remember if you are from the states and buying the exchange rate is in your favor. If you want a small sample of their Ice Wines get it it's about 32 Canadian and it's the three they make. I will be back.. they have their own lot. Staff is friendly and helpful a plus.

Yelp
visited this winery because my friend suggested it. about 30 mins away from the Niagara falls. we came here during lunch time. we were a party of 3. so we had 3 different tastings so can try different wines. we got the red, white, and makers. we also ordered the truffle fries and half doz of oysters. the oysters weren't too bad. fries were too heavily battered and lack of truffle. didn't quite enjoy it. in regards to the wines, i personally enjoy red wines more such as cab or zin in general. however, their reds were underwhelming to be honest, had a high expectation. not gonna lie, the whites were decent. also the ice wine on the makers flight, were not too bad either. but i'm just not a big fan of ice wine, too sweet for my palate in general. my buddies loved the ice wine so they bought a bottle of ice wine and one of the reserved white (don't remember which exactly). i am not a local so its a pain for me to travel with it. even if i was a local, i don't think i would have gotten one. we took a few good pictures there, some staff were really nice to help us take pictures. weather was beautiful, warm but not too warm. will i come back? unfortunately no. i really wanted to like this place though. im sorry.

Yelp
This was my first ice wine experience, so I had zero expectations and I was going for the one-off, touristy experience, so bear that in mind when you read the review. I am by no means a wine connoisseur, so it was very expensive for what it was, but if you're prepared for that then it's a great experience and the ice wine was top notch. Beautiful venue, very friendly and helpful staff. I'm usually a 1 or 5 star reviewer, and thought about knocking it down to 4 stars because they were on the more expensive side compared to the vineyard next door, but really, it's a super cool place and worth it as a one off experience for someone who knows nothing about ice wine ..... HOWEVER , you can go next door to Reif vineyard right for the exact same tasting experience for a $10 tasting of 3 of their ice wines, versus $23 or something at Inniskillen. Pro tips: for this specific vineyard, if you're coming from the US, their wine is in the duty free on the way back, and it's WAY cheaper in the duty free. It was a little disheartening to roll up on the duty free and see the price there after buying a $45 bottle at the vineyard. Live & learn though, next time. Yes, I know, this was a "price conscious" review, but I felt that I got the exact same experience at Reif for cheaper, as I did here.

Yelp
I love this place! I don't often get to the Niagara winery region, but when I do, I always try to visit Inniskilln Wines. They have the most wonderful ice wines along with some other red and white varieties. They have a wonderful wine tour, that includes a guided informative tour and 3 wine tastings. As well the cost of the tour can be used towards the purchase of a bottle of wine, so it's a great deal. Lovely facilities, great staff and great wine. It's a must visit, if you are in the area.

Yelp
Inniskillin Wines is our first winery stop for our "A Day in NOTL". On this crispy windy day, we were the only one that here for the Winery Tour. Our tour guide is a lovely lady who used to teach before she retired, so her tour is as informative as a classroom lecture and we were her students. On and on and on after the history, the process, and everything about Inniskillin. We listened, I yawned a little and took some photos... until the tasting... All the efforts of behaving and being a good student definitely paid off! The tasting session definitely is really personal. Even with food pairing (we were treated to some dark chocolate that went well with the wine!) and drinking from proper Riedel icewine glasses! $5 tour with credit towards icewine purchase. Inniskillin Wines is definitely one of the must visit wineries if you are in the NOTL area!

Yelp
Amazing as usual. I was there this time for sip and sizzle. Tastings are plentiful and free with purchase. I bought a bottle of the sparkling cabernet franc icewine (currently on sale for $80 from $120) which is absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong buying any of their wines. Can't wait to go back!!

Yelp
This place is most famous for their ice wines. Most wineries in the area have ice wines but here they specialize in it to where it has its own tasting section. They have a good variety of regular wines as well. The grounds here are beautiful. There is even an outdoor grill market where you can get salads and sandwiches. Great idea for wine tour buses and for when you get the munchies after tasting wines all day.

Yelp
Definitely try the ice wine tasting. This place is worth the visit just for the beautiful scenery with rows upon rows of cherry trees in bloom (late April). The ice wines are of course very sweet, but have a wonderful flavor. One sip is enough for me and the pours for the tastings are very generous at $10, since a bottle will set you back $60-80 depending on the variety. I would skip the table wines. I wasn't too impressed with the ones I tried (3 tastings for $5) and after all, the Niagara region is known for the sweet wines. The staff were very friendly and did not pressure us to buy any bottles. They take card, with no minimums, which is always a plus.
