How sleepy Onomichi in Hiroshima Prefecture became a hub for design and innovation - SilverKris

"A museum and castle complex devoted to the maritime Murakami Suigun clan, offering insight into the sea-born samurai who controlled much of the Seto Inland Sea during the Middle Ages. Exhibits contextualize naval history and the clan’s regional power, making it an informative stop for visitors interested in maritime warfare and medieval Japanese naval culture." - Tom Miyagawa Coulton

Cute fort. It's a bit of a climb to get there. Was interesting, really cool history!

It's a small but interesting museum, especially if you're into samurai or pirates. The climb isn't too steep, and the ticket costs around 330 yen per person.

Good museum to study a history of the Murakami pirates. It is located on the top of a little hill. So you have to go up to get to the museum. But after you reach the top you can see good view around the villages. You need stamina!! This is a small museum so it takes about less than 30 mins. Take it easy for studying!!

It's so small place and tiny. When i watch all thing in 1st floor, i searched an exit to next floor or next room. But about 5mtr x 5mtr' one room is all of museum. And also expensive. Good thing, one is that i can understand that 'how so small size of castle.' Anyway, that was so interesting and pleasure experience but "expensive".

It's not really a castle, it's a museum, but it's got lots of armour and models of ships. Worth climbing all the stairs
