After staying almost one week, from my perspective the hotel deserves a great score and a detailed review.
Room. We took a king bed room. The room had enough space for everything, we had a view to the street and it was well isolated (never heard noises from outside). It had also a table and chair, perfect to work. The toilette was medium size, the shower had a good space. In general the room was quite comfortable. Besides they refilled a bottle of water per guest every day. There was also a coffee machine, and under request it was possible to ask for an iron. It is advisable to bring an adapter (all connections are type ), but the hotel can also lend one. There is also a safety box.
Restaurant. We took the option including breakfast, that was served every day in the restaurant located in the ground floor. The decoration was nice and they offered a good quantity of options. Every day there were scrambled eggs, some type of dish like lomo saltado o pollo saltado, small humitas or tamales. Local cheese options, breads. But besides this and the drinks, the fruits were my favorite part: granadilla and tuna were always there (if you are foreigner, highly advisable to try, and just ask how to eat them if you have doubts).
Besides the breakfast, the hotel offers 24h service room, and I recall reading in the elevator and advertise that there was a 20% of discount. I didn't have the chance to try it, but just having the option was good.
In case you take a very early flight or do a day trip and must leave the hotel quite early (e.g. 4:30am), it is possible to ask for a breakfast box.
Rooftop: The swimming pool was tempered and the bar was good. I must highlight the mini seafood empanadas in Cataleya, from my experience, a must. And also on the weekend it is a relaxed environment for a drink, with live music (DJ).
Working. I had to work over some days, and in a special schedule time (quite early morning). The manager and team made my work much bearable, lending me a meeting room to have some calls (and avoid disturbing my husband's sleep). I can just say a big thank you for that. I saw that underground the hotel has several meeting rooms, for any group size, and they also can have corporate events there. The WiFi was quite fast, I had to connect to work for several hours and never had any connection issue.
Others. The hotel has some merchandise, like bottles or bags. I didn't but anything (even when I really like the Peruvian dog ceramic) because I had more trips after this one, but I advise all future guests to check the ceramic figures exposed in the wall behind the counter. I asked and they were also for sale and the price was not that high.
Service. The personnel working in the hotel was always attentive and kind. And they also speak English.
Location. Simply excellent. Just 2 blocks far away from the Kennedy's Park. Many restaurants, shops and services very close by (e.g. my husband went for a haircut just one block far away). Besides, we didn't have any problem in relation to the security. The neighborhood is constantly supervised by police or serenazgo (city hall security). In the Kennedy's Park there is always some exhibition or small market, and even music to dance in the evening. I would say that the location even allows to take a nice walk by the pier from Miraflores to Barranco (for those like us, who like to walk). Of course being attentive is the general recommendation, but besides that, we enjoyed the district a lot.
In conclusion, our stay was really good, I hope to be back in a future trip.
