We visited at 12.15 but as they closed at 12.30 for lunch we would come back. They said it would be open in the afternoon. When we arrived at 14.15 there was nobody. We opened the gate and took a look upstairs. There we rang the bell but no reply. We tried the door but it was all closed. They called us back later and said they were open on the upper floor. Maybe we should have climbed one more stair? Unfortunately we didn’t see the house inside.

Sweet little free museum which the second president (İnönü) once lived in. İt's decorated with 30s furniture. Although everything is in Turkish, if you read a little info in advance you'll know what it's about. Lots of old photos which are very interesting.

It was closed (chain across gate) when we walked past at 11am on Saturday. Nice house from the outside.

Nice place to show historical life style but I think it's more valuable for Turkish people than for tourists

The summer house of the second President of the Republic of Turkey (who is also the Joint Chief of Staff of the Turkish forces at the War of Survival 1919-1923). A beautiful, yet modest residence for those who want to understand the period.
