I stayed in an 8-bed mixed dorm and had a pleasant experience overall.✅ Pros:Basic expense is good and definitely value for money.Check-in was very easy, and the staff is friendly and speaks English. The place feels nature-friendly and sustainable, with a welcoming vibe. Families would feel comfortable here too.Rooms and shared spaces were neat and clean. You need a 2-euro coin deposit for the locker, but the staff can give you change if needed.Wi-Fi was strong, and the location is just a 7-minute walk from the train station.A good option if your flight is around 08:30, as it’s easy to reach the airport on time.❌ Cons:Room bathroom not available – you’ll need to use the shared ones.Breakfast not included.Overall, a solid budget hostel with a peaceful atmosphere. I’d recommend it for solo travelers, backpackers, and even families looking for an affordable short stay.

Really wanted to love and support this hostel but my experience was extremely disappointing. ||||Booked because we had to find somewhere to stay over a holiday weekend, and this was the most “affordable” place at 50+€||ightly. ||||Dorms were a horrible experience, mostly older men or young kids who talked full volume on the phone in the middle of the night, switched all the lights on, even came right over to my corner bunk and began eating, talking, watching films without headphones, turning on the lights, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT (eg. 3:30 am). ||||The receptionist was extremely unfriendly, the only people who said hello or smiled were one or two staff in the restaurant. ||||The kitchen was actually disturbing, so so filthy, the fridge smelt of mold and rotting, next to no utensils for cooking. ||||Then to top it off, when I checked in, I paid by card. The receptionist quickly grabbed the receipt and said it didn’t go through (strange, but it was so late at night and I was exhausted I trusted their humanity), so made me retry. This receipt I received and upon checking my bank statements later, I realized I was charged twice. (+400$ CAD) I reached out through email with all the receipts and very politely, to which they responded vaguely with my “invoice” that didn’t show the double charge. I responded, gave bank screenshots, etc. and they said they would forward to their superior as they “don’t see the charge” on their end. That was the last I heard from them, several days later still no response. Disgusted to say the least at the scam of this establishment. ||||Makes me feel like the whole charitable, non-profit aspect is simple a guise for marketing. Impressive scheme if so. ||||Do not stay here.

After I booked a bed, I didn't get a confirmation, so I called again to ask if I had a reservation in my name, this was denied. So I booked again. Now I have been charged for both. I still have no confirmation. And after asking again, they were not really interested in finding a solution.

I came to barcelona for 2 days as im traveling europe. I needed a place to stay for 1 night last minute and cheep I ended up on this place. For less then €20 it's good. Depending on what hostel you get too. I got the 10 one with private bathroom. There was only 3 of us that night. But genuinely would recommend if your traveling solo

For the price they offer there isn’t really anything to complain. People who aren’t happy here may rather choose to spend €60 staying in a dorm in the city on weekends The room is spacious and well ventilated, heaters worked great, the bathroom situated in the room had plenty of space as well. There aren’t many food options in the vicinity so I chose to eat at the hostel, and they have pretty good deals, €9 for a full pizza and drink. There are a few hiking trails nearby, I was able to hike to Tibidabo from the hostel in less than 2 hours. It’s on a train line as well so it’s very easy to go into the city and back There isn’t much of an atmosphere here, it’s not that kind of hostel. But again, it’s factored into the cost. Taking a star away because the wifi didn’t work, so went without internet for the duration of my stay

This hostel was one of the worst experiences we’ve had. After a 7 hour flight we go to check in at 2:30pm (check-in starts at 2) and we are met with condescending attitude claiming we have only one reservation (we had 2). Afterwards, we are promptly told to leave our stuff and get out as they apperently were not done cleaning our rooms, no instructions regarding the hostel itself (ex. how to open the gate leading to it) and rushed out by the receptionist who doesn’t even let my friend finish changing before she is banging down the door and asking us “where are you going? go now?” and literally pushing us out the door. The hostel has a common area where we could’ve stayed, we didn’t even need to stay in our rooms but instead we were forced out without any knowledge of where we were or where to go. Once we finished wandering around the city, we returned only to not be able to open the gate as we were not told how to. The next morning, we were awakened by screaming and stomping in the halls and the door to the hostel swung open (no knocking) and workers burst into our rooms to “clean” but mostly to harass the other girl in our hostel because it was almost 10am and she needed to check-out. They proceeded to yell in her face and refused to close the door and give privacy so my friend could change. I legitimately had to beg them to leave so we had an ounce of privacy but they continued to barge in and out of the room even for the 20 minutes the door was closed. The entire stay, they acted as though we were not paying customers and they were providing us a service by letting us stay. This hostel is fine but the service is abysmal and I would not suggest staying here unless it is a last resort.

INOUT Hostel is a life-changing experience not just a stay.||Nestled in nature with breathtaking views, it is staffed almost entirely by people with disabilities - making it a beacon of dignity, inclusion, and social transformation.||A true lighthouse for sustainable and regenerative tourism.||5 stars, and the world needs to know about it!||I was very happy to introduce and connect this project to the Director of UN Tourism and the EU commissioner||#AccessibleTravel #SDGs #Tourism4SDGs

It's very uphill. A taxi costs ten euros for a 12-minute walk to the hostel. So why not walk? Because we have luggage! A fifteen-kilogram backpack. And this is not Barcelona. If you want to take an Uber, it will take fifteen minutes to arrive. Maybe this is a nice green place for the summer (although I doubt the rooms will be cool). I wouldn't recommend it for the winter with this slope and rain. The behavior of the staff was also strange.

Yelp
The location feels secluded from the rest of the city, even though it is only a 20 minute train ride to the main area. We had some trouble with one of the other girls in our room and although that is no fault of the staff, I do not think that the situation was handled properly.

Yelp
If you want close and convient access to Barcelona then don't waste your time here! You have to hike up a mountain from the metro stop and the InOut website fails to mention the hike up the mountain. The restaurant is creepy to say the least and you get stuck eating there since it is such a pain to get to the city center. Once at the hostel there is no where close in walking distance. And to top it all off the website says check out anytime before 2pm however when we woke up at 9:15 we found a note taped to our door that said we had to leave by 10am. They never said anything when we checked in! Absolutely ridiculous!! Please save yourself the hassle and stay elsewhere!
