Olga and Fernando are wonderful, friendly hosts. This small establishment is a gem - v quiet rooms at nighttime (courtyard location) with clean, simple and very comfortable rooms. Construction next door is reasonable, does not start before 7:30 AM and stops by 6 PM. Location is outstanding for exploring old Porto and the variety of local sites and eateries. Breakfasts were spot on - mix of delicious yogurt, Portuguese ham/charcuterie and local cheese; excellent fruit choices. Comfortable open seating downstairs for time away from your room. This would be my first choice on a return trip to this lovely city.

My husband and I spent two nights at the InPatio Guest House and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hosts Olga and Fernando were so warm and welcoming and had great recommendations for our time in Porto. The room was spotless and very quiet even with a restaurant right outside. It was a convenient spot for exploring all of Porto and if my travels bring me back to this area, I hope to stay here again. The icing on the cake was the delicious (and enormous) breakfast with local delicacies. Absolutely perfect!

We stayed at InPatio for three nights while on a month long trip exploring Portugal. It was our favorite hotel. The location was e clement directly in the middle of the Ribeiro district, this is where you want to be. The hotel is modern with up to date amenities and features. The bed was comfortable, the HVAC worked, the bathroom and shower were excellent- plenty of hot water, excellent pressure with a rain shower and handheld spray… oh and a heated towel rack. The just prepare a delicious breakfast every morning that features local meats and cheeses, homemade yogurt, fresh fruit, breads and delicious coffee. We been traveling in Europe for 30 years, is one of our best hotel experiences.

What a fabulous stay we had. Olga and Fernando were wonderful and thoughtful hosts. The room was beautiful, well furnished, comfortable and with a gorgeous ensuite. Olga's breakfasts with fresh local produce were superb and they were both so helpful in offering us advice on where to go and recommended truly splendid places to eat. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.

We had an excellent stay at InPatio! The owners were so friendly and helpful. The included breakfast in the mornings was a perfect way to start the days with some local Portuguese cheese and pork. The location is great for restaurants and shopping all over Porto and a couple blocks from the river. Rooms aren’t huge but perfect for a few nights stay, exploring the city. Additionally, the owners baked a small breakfast cake for my wife’s birthday which was a sweet surprise!

We stayed 4 nights at Inpatio Guesthouse and were very happy with our stay. The location is perfect if you want to be in the old town area near the river. The room was unique and spacious enough for our needs. Its a small bouitique hotel with only 5 or 6 rooms and the owners were there every day. They were very helpful and accomodating. The included breakfast was wonderful. Yogurt, breads, croissant + assorted local meats, cheeses, jams and fruits served to your table in the breakfast room each morning. The only downside was the construction noise that started every week day morning at 8am or even earlier. But there seems to be a lot of construction going on in Porto at the moment, so the property can't be blamed for that.

Arriving at InPatio, we were met immediately by the front desk manager who was quick to grab our large suitcases for the 5 of us. We were checked in within seconds and shown to our rooms. My wife and I had a room steps from the front door, very convenient! The breakfast was fantastic with fresh baked croissants and rolls, delicious cold meets, local cheeses and a marvellous array of fruit. 2 of the days we were there, we had to leave before the breakfast time and the owners were quite concerned and made us a special early breakfast and then a bagged breakfast to go when we had to leave at 5 AM. Very friendly, very accommodating and clean. We will stay there again. | We were 10 a minute walk to the river and all the action, yet I remarked how quiet it was at night. The bathroom was large with a great shower. I highly recommend the InPatio Guest house (and I can be quite picky about things) although I’m not fussy, I notice all the little things that are and aren’t available. You should go!!

This hotel is lovely! The owners are so kind and helpful. Breakfast in the morning is fresh and local and the location is right in the middle of the Ribeira so easy to walk to most tourist things and the river. Will definitely return.
