Obrigada to Olga and Fernando for a relaxing and wonderful 2 day stay in Porto after our Riviera Porto River Cruise! In Patio Guest House was highly recommended. Very close walking distance to restaurants, shops, river front where we spent two mornings sipping Cappuccino, listening to street music, and watching the families and tourists walk by. Small & quiet with 5 rooms. Located in a 300 yr. old hospital building; modern and thoughtful remodel throughout. Our 2nd floor room was very comfortable, great king size bed. Used the old fashioned "Dumbwaiter" lift for bags. Fernando kept in contact with us from beginning of reservation in May and also several days before. Upon arrival we could check in early since the ship debarks in the morning. No problem, he stored our bags and we toured the sites. "Pop Up restaurant appeared on the Patio outside their front door (no relation to In Patio) where we enjoyed a lovely dinner. Breakfast was a beautiful assortment of cheeses, fruits, breads and Olga was very accommodating to prepare hard boiled eggs for our diabetic diets.

My husband and I spent two nights at the InPatio Guest House and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hosts Olga and Fernando were so warm and welcoming and had great recommendations for our time in Porto. The room was spotless and very quiet even with a restaurant right outside. It was a convenient spot for exploring all of Porto and if my travels bring me back to this area, I hope to stay here again. The icing on the cake was the delicious (and enormous) breakfast with local delicacies. Absolutely perfect!

Olga and Fernando are wonderful, friendly hosts. This small establishment is a gem - v quiet rooms at nighttime (courtyard location) with clean, simple and very comfortable rooms. Construction next door is reasonable, does not start before 7:30 AM and stops by 6 PM. Location is outstanding for exploring old Porto and the variety of local sites and eateries. Breakfasts were spot on - mix of delicious yogurt, Portuguese ham/charcuterie and local cheese; excellent fruit choices. Comfortable open seating downstairs for time away from your room. This would be my first choice on a return trip to this lovely city.

We had an excellent stay at InPatio! The owners were so friendly and helpful. The included breakfast in the mornings was a perfect way to start the days with some local Portuguese cheese and pork. The location is great for restaurants and shopping all over Porto and a couple blocks from the river. Rooms aren’t huge but perfect for a few nights stay, exploring the city. Additionally, the owners baked a small breakfast cake for my wife’s birthday which was a sweet surprise!

We stayed at InPatio guesthouse two nights during our recent trip to Portugal, and the quality of our accommodations was right up there with the beautiful posadas we stayed at in other areas of the country. InPatio is in the perfect location to explore Porto, the room was very comfortable (especially the granite room, where we stayed the second night) and quiet. Breakfast was excellent, featuring local meats, cheeses, unusual fruits, yogurt, and great coffee. We'll definitely return if we can!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at InPatio. The hotel's location is excellent, near the river as well as tourist sites and shopping. The room was quite large and comfortable and the housekeeping service kept it very clean. Olga provided an individualized breakfast each morning, careful to explain its ingredients; we were never able to eat all of the wonderful spread. We give InPatio our highest recommendation.

We stayed at InPatio for three nights while on a month long trip exploring Portugal. It was our favorite hotel. The location was e clement directly in the middle of the Ribeiro district, this is where you want to be. The hotel is modern with up to date amenities and features. The bed was comfortable, the HVAC worked, the bathroom and shower were excellent- plenty of hot water, excellent pressure with a rain shower and handheld spray… oh and a heated towel rack. The just prepare a delicious breakfast every morning that features local meats and cheeses, homemade yogurt, fresh fruit, breads and delicious coffee. We been traveling in Europe for 30 years, is one of our best hotel experiences.

What a fabulous stay we had. Olga and Fernando were wonderful and thoughtful hosts. The room was beautiful, well furnished, comfortable and with a gorgeous ensuite. Olga's breakfasts with fresh local produce were superb and they were both so helpful in offering us advice on where to go and recommended truly splendid places to eat. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.
