That sujebi place from the Youtube we watched! Apparently their makgeolli is good too. Insadong in general is a nice area with more traditional restaurants, etc.

The place is a short distance from the station and easy to find. Went past 1pm and there was no queue. The sujebi broth is very light. Was hoping the broth packs more flavour. The dough noodles were a little chewy which was enjoyable. Pajeon is fragrant and crispy but a little oily.

Tasty, simple, authentic. My palate cant handle ice cold savoury food though.

In Singapore/Malaysia, we know this affectionately as MEE HOON KUAY. Basically dough that is torn apart by hand and cooked which resulted in the odd shape of noodle/flour. I am so happy to have found this place as we were missing home. This place looks like it has been publicized a lot as u can see various signatures on the wall and there are even logos of broadcasting by stations which had interviewed them before. We ordered for 2 and it came in a large serving bowl which can then be distributed. Their kimchi was cold and came in a personal pot which feels very sanitary. The pancake was thin and crispy. I came around 6pm and by 7pm the whole place was filled out. It was so delicious and it was interesting to find out that Sujebi in Korea is the sister of mee hoon kuay of SEA.

✨ Lunch at Insadong Sujebi/ Insadong Hangari Handpulled Dough Soup since 1993! 🍲 I went for the General Sujebi and Seafood Pancake, and it did not disappoint! The sujebi soup was so refreshing, with oysters giving it an extra layer of flavour. 🦪 The seafood pancake was just the right amount of crispy, packed with shrimp 🦐 and squid 🦑—a perfect bite every time. Also, the kimchi was so fresh, it really added a nice balance to the meal. Highly recommend this spot if you're ever in Seoul! 🏙️ #InsaDongSujebi #KoreanFoodLover #SujebiAndPancake #SeoulEats #FoodieFinds #Since1993

Delicious hand-pulled noodles place hidden in the alley of Insadong. It was a rainy day in late September with about 30 mins wait, and it was worth it. We ordered a original and spicy (얼큰) noodles and a seafood pancake. The noodles are so unique and I love the it’s texture. Both original and spicy are awesome. The seafood pancake is alright, a bit too heavy and I wish they have more seafood toppings. They have a pretty small menu so I would still recommend to try their pancake with the noodles. Overall I was not disappointed and highly recommend this place, this is a very affordable and filling meal.

This place wasn’t easy to find but it was worth it (refer to entrance picture). Excellent Korean pancakes, and their Sujebi was worth a try as well. This place also serves kimchi as a side which was really appetising (menu attached). There is WiFi in this place. Staff seemed very friendly and close, had the impression they were family.

Similar to Singapore/M’sia mee hoon kway BUT the soups are different. It was very comforting on a cold winter day. The pancake was delicious too. If I were living in Seoul I’d be coming here a lot!

Everything is nice! That’s our comment and compliment for this shop that we found by accident. Perilla leave sujebi , spicy sujebi and the seafood pancake is must order!
