Good location but poor maintenance. This has more of a ‘student’ accommodation feel than anything more luxurious. On opening door, the first experience was a strong unpleasant odour. I tried to address this by opening all windows but never really managed to… The linen is good quality but the cleaning is average and the maintenance in general of the facility is not high. The furniture is quite cheap and the settee has visible stains- clearly hasn’t been cleaned in years (why not cover it?). Only one wine glass in a place with 4 beds. Only 2 coffee pods. Blackout blinds are missing on 2 large windows. Broken chair on balcony. Fake grass on balcony is ill fitting. Floor is chipped and just painted grey rather than having any kind of covering. Mats are cheap vinyl Lino. Headboard had unhygienic stains on it. Online registration and communication is really poor. Cleaning lady was however helpful and communicative.

Inside Bilbao Apartment Review - May 2025 Pros: Strategically located downtown, close to shops and markets – very convenient. The room was modern, nice, and clean. Two towels were provided (large and medium size), which is thoughtful. No outside noise heard, allowing for a quiet stay. Excellent water pressure and a great rain shower. Cons: The location is tricky to find; GPS doesn't accurately pinpoint the property. The air conditioning was terrible. It was impossible to adjust it below 25-26°C (77-79°F); attempts to lower it to 18°C (64°F) immediately reverted. I was sweating while trying to sleep. Room for Improvement: Fix the air conditioning system to allow guests to control the temperature effectively. This is a critical factor for comfort. Provide clearer, more precise directions or landmarks for guests to find the property easily, as GPS is unreliable.

We have a WONDERFUL stay at Inside Bilbao Apartments. The condo is near the metro, groceries and the museum Guggenheim. If you plan to take excursions, to book this condo is a MUST as most of excursion will depart from Guggenheim museum. Raquel and Miren wrote to us on WhatsApp every morning to check our needs. Room is clean with washer/dryer and all you need. A MUST condo when you will be in Bilbao. BRAVO 👍

Stayed Sept 2024 for 1 night - solo traveller. Lovely location and gorgeous little space. Really well outfitted, safe and secure. Communication about access was super clear and the staff member I was in contact with was very helpful and considerate. Excellent transport links, wonderful food near by, and a stones throw from the Guggenheim. Would come back for a longer stay!

August 2024: Room 5 had NO air-conditioning, it was stuck on 26° for 3 nights. 1 tower fan provided, but that only circulated hot air. Reported the 26° within 10 minutes of arrival as the air-conditioning unit wouldn't stay at 16° (it was a very hot day), but we were told it was slow to cool. We left it on while we were out for 8 hours and when we returned it was 27° Reported again the following morning after a sleepless night. Another fan was provided Resorted to sleeping with the window wide open the following 2 nights, negating the sound proofing from the noisy street and the 2 garbage bottle collections during the night, and sunrise about 5am. Location however was excellent. Communication was great and friendly, but still no resolve about the air conditioning. We did not get what we wanted as a necessity (because we knew Bilbao would be hot). It was actually cooler in the corridor and lift. Disappointed.

I couldn't be happier. As a solo traveller it was perfect. The Guggenheim is just at the bottom of the road. It was extremely clean. The owners kept checking in to see if everything was okay. It was fabulous. My dream was to visit the Guggenheim and my accommodation could not have been better.

Recent, modern facilities with everything you need to be independent This apartment combines a very central location and quiet nights, I feel it is the best of both worlds. I was a little bit worried about the bunk bed, and how convenient it would be but they are very well built, stable and very comfortable. Also if you have 1 or 2 small kids they can sleep while you're enjoying the rest of the evening (a sliding door allows to isolate the bedroom from the rest of the apartment, awesome..) Owner is extremely cautious about your well-being and will go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied with the facilities Tip: Bilbao to have been build around socializing with people, locals seem permanently hooked to pintxos and tapas bars, also plenty of kids playgrounds, really optimal for families even with toddlers

Brilliant apartment - comfortable, clean and well equipped. Just around the corner from the Guggenheim and handy for the centre.
