Insurgentes - Taco Bar

I’ve visited a few times and always in between lunch and dinner, so it’s usually chill, but you can tell that it can handle a very busy crowd. The ambiance is great, and so well hidden in what seems like a home from the outside. All the tacos have a very distinctly Mexican taste, and the salsas are all fantastic. The service is solid, the prices are fair, and the menu is big enough for you to want to return to try new things. This is an awesome taco offering in Bogotá. 🌮

Great food, really cool atmosphere, and friendly service. Although, $10 000 for a small bottle of water is a little excessive and I feel the price should be adjusted in half at the most. Nice place for a great selection of Mezcal and delicious tacos! Service was perfect and the atmosphere has all the aspects you enjoy in Bogota, older buildings with history and charm but done is a classy and exciting way.

Overpriced for what you get… my most expensive dinner in Bogota and I have nothing to show for it. Taco taste is decent nut unimpressive for a bar that only serves tacos. I expected to be amazed, had better tacos in mexican streets. The tres leches is very goood though and well portioned

Average tacos, not the best but worth the try if you want to try Mexican food in Colombia. The decoration is superb 👌

Very cool spot with excellent food. Treated us stereotypical non-spanish speaking tourists very kindly and were extremely helpful and patient. Highly recommend!

All the other reviewers have it right. The service was phenomenal, thank you Jason. The tacos were tasty and there is a nice selection of drinks. You instantly become one of the cool kids just by being there.

Were craving comfort food after a long day of flights and tours, so glad we found this place close to where we we’re staying. Got the nachos with guacamole and both the fish tacos. Everything was amazing - also requested for some extra cheese on the side which the server brought for us. I just wish the place was a little better lit though, don’t see why a taco bar needs to be so dim. The interior is amazing and rustic but hard to see. Great experience overall
