Insurgentes - Taco Bar

I’ve visited a few times and always in between lunch and dinner, so it’s usually chill, but you can tell that it can handle a very busy crowd. The ambiance is great, and so well hidden in what seems like a home from the outside. All the tacos have a very distinctly Mexican taste, and the salsas are all fantastic. The service is solid, the prices are fair, and the menu is big enough for you to want to return to try new things. This is an awesome taco offering in Bogotá. 🌮

Great little restaurant/bar, the service was great and quick and as a celiac all the tacos were gluten free so this was a great find. A big portion of nachos and guacamole to share and 3 tacos each came to around 110,000 COP including service charge which is unbelievable for the experience and how good the food was. Well worth a visit

If you’re in the area, please visit them. They had great tacos. They also have 3 vegetarian options, although 2 are pretty similar. Very lovely Mezcal Sour as well

Having come from London, I'm not used to tacos being 1) delicious and 2) value for money. This was. Chicken and pork particularly good, but everything hit the spot. And for a very reasonable price. Perfect for a quick bite before heading out.

Great food, really cool atmosphere, and friendly service. Although, $10 000 for a small bottle of water is a little excessive and I feel the price should be adjusted in half at the most. Amazing food. Great vibe. A must visit

Overpriced for what you get… my most expensive dinner in Bogota and I have nothing to show for it. Taco taste is decent nut unimpressive for a bar that only serves tacos. I expected to be amazed, had better tacos in mexican streets. The tres leches is very goood though and well portioned

I was craving a taste of Mexico and had the tacos al pastor. They were fresh and delicious and most importantly had lots of flavour! The place is small with lots of atmosphere and great service.
