InterContinental Abu Dhabi by IHG

The Intercontinental Abudhabhi by IHG is an older property but very well maintained, offering a comfortable and pleasant stay. Staff & Service: The staff are supportive and welcoming. A special mention to Theresa at the reception, who greeted us with a warm smile and even upgraded our room, which made our stay extra special. Dining: Breakfast was excellent with a good variety, though the lunch options were quite ordinary and could be improved. Facilities: The pool is clean and well maintained. The private beach, however, lacks natural waves as it has been cut off from the sea due to recent construction. Rooms: Rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained, reflecting the overall good upkeep of the hotel.

Excellent hotel, couldn't have wished for any better. Wonderful selection of food but maybe could have been a bit hotter. Pools were great with your little cool box full of ice and bottles of water, sometimes ever a cool face cloth. The beach too was good, plenty of sun beds and parasols.||Strange set up with the all inclusive drinks, only the Pool bars and the Chamas bar was included and the buffet restaurant when you had lunch and dinner. The piano bar you had to pay for drinks and in the 10 days we were there never heard anyone play the piano.||All the staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for us, sorry too many names to mention, with the exception of the barman in the Chamas Bar who was a little creepy. We went in one night and ordered our drinks and my daughter asked for a diet coke and he replied with what, she answered just a coke I dont drink. A few nights later we went in and no-one was behind the bar so we waited and all of a sudden someone came up behind us making us jump so he laughed. We ordered our drinks, again my daughter just asked for a fanta orange. We sat down to have our drinks and she said oh this tastes funny, so she took another sip and yes it had alcohol in the fanta. I finished my drink and we took the glasses back to the bar. What was wrong with your drink he asked and she replied it was not what I asked for, he smirked to his colleague and said jokingly, oh I have made a mistake. Yes he did, on this occasion there was no problem she just left the drink but just think if she was alergic to it, or even a recovering alcoholic just imagine the outcome there. ||Please be aware if drinking in the Chamas bar that you dont always get what you order.||Apart from that incident the holidaya was great

Jr sous chef Nadeera Windana and his team at the lovely restaurant Cho Gao, whipped up a delicious feast of sushi rolls and ambiance! The establishment is beautifully decorated and is perfectly lite with an intimate atmosphere. The mixologist definitely shakes things up with delicious cocktails and fun vibes! Definitely a visit! Thank you, Chef and Cho Gao team for taking such great care of us! See you again to experience the outdoor terrace and delicious dishes!

I was very happy in my stay. the moment I arrive the staff take care and welcome. The room was very nice and I had a beautiful sea view. The best was the club lounges friendly staff very nice food and drinks and great breakfast and dinner, it was delicious Food. will definitely stay in the Hotel for my next trip Well done

I have stayed at InterContinental Abu Dhabi several times, and each visit has been fantastic. The service is always top-notch. Special thanks to Sakhi at reception – always professional, friendly, and welcoming. The lobby café is a must-visit with delicious food, and Ilaiah, our waiter, provided excellent, attentive service every time. Also, a big shoutout to the Chef Concierge for always being helpful and knowledgeable, and to the amazing staff at the beach bar – friendly and efficient, making the beach experience even better. Whether for an overnight stay or just a day pass, I always look forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful experience at InterContinental Abu Dhabi. The location is perfect with beautiful views of the marina, and the hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast buffet had an amazing variety, and the restaurants offered delicious food. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, which made the stay even more special. Truly a memorable experience, and I would love to come back again.

Thank you for the beautiful seven nights we had in the hotel. We booked from our travel agency in our country Russia. We came here on all-inclusive package for seven nights on Monday and we are checking out today and it is a very memorable stay in the pool beach everybody the stuff they were very nice. Priyanka in the reception was amazing and we will definitely come back again next year

She was kind enough to upgrade our room to the Emirates Suite—I instantly fell in love the moment I opened the door! I booked 9 rooms for my son’s birthday guests, and everything was well-prepared and organized as per our request. Thank you also to all the staff at the hotel—everyone was truly professional. A big thank you as well to the staff of Porto Gina Restaurant and Selections Restaurant for setting up a beautiful space for all our guests. All the guests at my son's birthday were pleased and happy. No complaints at all!
