We are having a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Adelaide. From the moment we arrived, the experience has been excellent. Andrew at the front desk welcomed us so warmly and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. He was friendly, professional, and attentive, and he took the time to ensure everything was smooth and comfortable for us. That first impression really set the tone for our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, well maintained, and perfectly located. Outstanding service like Andrew’s makes a real difference, and we would happily stay here again.

Wonderfully located hotel with good, spacious rooms and outstanding service. All the staff were charming and the concierge, in particular, was one of the best and most efficient I have ever come across, anticipating needs and extremely well informed. The food offering is decent, if a bit limited, but I woukd definitely come back the next time I am in Adelaide.

I have stayed here a few times over the years. Staff and location are amazing. The issue is the rooms are showing their age. Room I had last week had a lumpy floor that felt like walking directly on the concrete. And the carpet was disgustingly dirty. You can see what colour the carpet should be under the couch. The shower had a section of the ceiling missing. Toilet button was loose and there was a hole as it didn’t seem to be the right size. The air conditioning was great during the day but seemed to not work as well at night so it was hot and stuffy all night. Maybe we got the bad room as I see so many good reviews of the room but our overall stay was below average especially for the price. This will be our last stay here until the rooms get a much needed renovation. I also had lounge access and was highly disappointed that the scrambled eggs served are the same powdered eggs served at the general buffet at the Riverside Restaurant. I can normally eat those eggs but I was served lumpy and, the best word I can describe them as is crunchy. Was disappointed that the canapés served was a plate with a couple items. One item for each person. For example my partner and I got an arancini ball, mini toast with topping, ladle 2 mini meatballs, and one more item I cannot recall. I understand keeping costs down as I have seen people use the canapés as a dinner but this was incredibly stingy.

Intercontinental Adelaide is one of my favourite hotels. The staff are exceptional (shout-out to the kind and lovely housekeeping staff person who cleaned my room), and the rooms are spacious and super comfortable. I love the river view right across to the cathedral and the fact that I can walk downstairs and be walking along the river path within minutes. The General Manager embodies what great leadership is all about, and the hotel is centrally located and close to everything great about Adelaide, including the cultural precinct and the Central Market. And then there's the rooftop pool, delicious food, and (in my case) a bathtub to soak in at the end of the day. Do yourself a favour and stay here when you get the chance.

I've been here 30 mins and I'm already incredibly impressed. The service is excellent and I actually feel cared about. The room is beautiful and the food is fabulous. Looking forward to the rest of my stay. And now I'm at the end of my stay. Everything was a good as it possibly could have been. The highlight was the kind and friendly staff who never hesitate to offer support where they could. A stand out was Hannah who provided some much needed social interaction for me when I felt sick. Kindness is free and this team understood that. Thank you all. I hope to stay here again.

The best hotel I ever stayed in Adelaide. The rooms were clean, and has a nice view. A big shout out to the male staff member who was kindly to offer me and my partner a new room as the air-conditioner in the other room was not working.

Great hotel, great views from 20th floor Couldn't fault the concierge and the lounge service. Front of house service could be improved, very hard to get them to understand a few simple things we tried to organise. Great location, right next door to SkyCity Casino, which is a great venue... 🌙 fun with live band

Had an enjoyable 4 night stay. Rooms, ensuite, wardrobe all spacious. Very quiet, comfortable beds. In room safe. Good cleaning standard. A/C ok. Big screen TV with local channels and Foxtel. Free wifi ok. Large gym and outdoor heated swimming pool. Excellent central downtown location. Service generally good but a few hiccups at busy times.
