I was consistently impressed by the quality of food and the attentive service throughout the hotel. The hotel offers several excellent dining venues, including the rooftop Première restaurant with stunning views of the Acropolis, where the food and ambiance create a truly memorable evening. In the lobby-level restaurants like Artbistrot and Artlounge, dishes are flavorful and well-prepared, making casual dinner options just as enjoyable, here I tried their fresh pasta which was excellent. Breakfast at Café Zoe is a highlight of the stay. The buffet is extensive and beautifully presented, with a wide variety of fresh options — from pastries and cereals to hot dishes and made-to-order items like omelets and poached eggs. If you’re looking for a hotel in Athens where both dinner and breakfast are highlights, combined with warm, attentive service, the Intercontinental delivers on all fronts. From delightful breakfast spreads to memorable dinner settings with panoramic views, the culinary experience here is a standout part of the stay.

The InterContinental Athens offers a truly comfortable and luxurious stay. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and very clean, with excellent views of the city. The service throughout the hotel is professional, warm, and attentive, making the stay feel seamless from check-in to check-out. The breakfast spread is impressive with a wide variety of options, and the dining experience overall is top-notch. Although it’s slightly away from the main tourist areas, taxis and public transport are easily accessible. Overall, a great choice for a premium stay in Athens, combining comfort, quality service, and a calm atmosphere after a day of sightseeing.

The ladies in the Club Lounge are absolutely amazing! They are incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help. They went above and beyond by making several phone calls on our behalf to enquire about tourist attractions, finding out all the necessary details for us. Their genuine willingness to assist and warm attitude truly enhanced our stay and made us feel very well looked after. Outstanding service and a real credit to the hotel.

I spent a pleasant 4 nights at the property. Vassilis was quick and friendly in a non stuffy manner for our check in. This awesome first impression carried though the visit. The breakfast was delicious and they served until 11 which is really convenient if you have w late night out in the town. Our room had a nice view. Less than half of the rooms have "the view" because half of the rooms are facing the other direction and there is a business tower that blocks some of the rooms which otherwise would have it. The room was recently renovated and the staff kept but clean and organized. I heard mixed reviews about the Artbistro, but I was pleasantly surprised during two different visits. First for glass of wine which was served with some snacks by a very friendly end professional server, Janka. When we came back for a light dinner, cocktails, and a treat she helped us out again. The pinsa was delicious, though I would skip the lime pie next time. I would definitely stay here again. Hopefully next time it will be pool weather.

A very nice InterContinental. The most accommodating staff, all the way from reception up to the lounge. Room was recently renovated and very nice. Nicely appointed room with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom very nice as well. Restaurant was very nice. Lounge also very nice with lovely views. Overall a very, very nice InterContinental. From now on this will be my number one choice in Athens.

I stayed here for 2 nights before an Aegean Sea cruise 2 month ago. The room was very new and spacious, clean, and modern. The marble bathroom was elegant and beautifully Greek. Breakfast was buffet-style and solid quality. Taxi access to the cruise port was convenient, making this a very comfortable stay.

This hotel has to have the most amazing customer service I have ever experienced!|Everyone was nice and kind to us. Ioannis at front desk (sorry if I misspelled name), was so welcoming! We had 3 separate reservations, under 3 separate names, which he kindly merged for us, so we don’t have to change rooms. We received vouchers for welcome drinks, which we very much enjoyed! I traveled with a child, so since he could not have an alcoholic drink ladies at the bar were so nice to make him a banana smoothie! The cheesecake at the bar-restaurant had to be the best we’ve ever had!|Hotel is beautifully decorated for Christmas. Looks like most floors and rooms underwent renovations. Everything looked new, clean, beautiful. Everything in our room functioned well, and room temperature was adjustable and comfortable. Room was spacious. Crispy clean bed sheets, and nice big fluffy towels! Shower was amazing! |We did have a ceiling leak in our room because of heavy rains. I was scared because my purse with our passports in it got flooded. Marina from customer service team went out of her way to take care of everything. She even dried my purse and passports with hair drier, and it worked! She was so kind, sympathetic, and nice to us! Very grateful to her!|The thing to keep in mind is, the hotel is not immediately within walking distance to historic city center and Acropolis, so you do need to take train or taxi. You can also use Uber app in Greece—prices are very reasonable.|Breakfast was outstanding. Nice ambiance. Good selection of food. Amazing omelettes. Courteous breakfast attendants. Once again, everything was sparkly clean!|I would definite stay at this hotel again if back in Athens.|On a side note, if you are considering a trip to Greece , you are in for a very special treat. I have wanted to visit it for such a long time, and it has completely exceeded all of my expectations! There is hospitality, and then there is Greek hospitality, that is just out of this world!

Very nice hotel in general. High standard of services. All aspects were taken care of by their professional team. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, a lot of options. Although their hardware, like furnitures, were like 20+ years old. TV not working properly, bath drain blocked, furniture broken, etc. I hope they can plan a renovation soon! The hotel is easy to access. But remember if you want to go to the main tourist spots, better take a taxi, as Athen is really big.
