I safely made it back to Dubai last night after what was supposed to be a 2-night stay in Bahrain turned into an unexpected 6-night stay due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Amidst all the uncertainty, my experience at InterContinental Manama was truly exceptional, all thanks to the incredible team.
I had two attempts to leave the country by land, and I am especially grateful to Anwar and Bheemesh for arranging a reliable car service and ensuring both the driver and I had enough water and snacks for the long eight-hour journey back to Dubai. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to me.
A big thank you to Bikash for sharing his valuable insights on securing the transit visa and for all the helpful conversations that made navigating this situation much easier. To Raissa and Cherry, your help with printing my documents was greatly appreciated, and even our brief chats made the days brighter.
To the Housekeeping team, Joher, Merin, and Sofikol, my room was always tidy, organized, and well-stocked.
I also want to thank Rachel and the entire breakfast team — your kindness, attentiveness, and cheerful service made every morning a comforting start to the day.
