InterContinental Baku by IHG

As a Diamond Elite member, I had the pleasure of staying at Intercontinental Baku with my family and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The hotel is located in a prime area near Nizami Street, making it convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring the city. The property was impeccably clean, and the comfort of the rooms exceeded expectations. The Club Lounge access was a highlight of our stay. We enjoyed most of our evenings there—great atmosphere, excellent service, and a perfect place to relax as a family. While we were hoping for upgraded adjacent rooms, we understand the limitations due to availability. We truly appreciate the genuine efforts made by the team to accommodate our request. What stood out the most was the hospitality. The entire staff—from the front desk to the restaurant—was friendly, helpful, and highly professional. Their attention to detail and care made us feel valued and welcomed throughout our stay. Thank you to the entire management team for such a warm and memorable experience. I look forward to returning and highly recommend this property to both families and business travelers.

Hotel location was very good. Very near to the waterfront and old town. Rooms were comfortable especially the suite we had for few days was brilliant. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Club lounge was ok. Hussein and the lovely girl in the club ( forget her name) made us feel very welcome and we were well taken care of. Overall a nice 10 days stay we had in the beautiful city of Baku! Thank you🙏🏻

Great location, nice building overall with beautiful marble tiles and paintings, smiling staff especially doorman. Offered us extra hour for later check out for free. However it’s far from five star facility and here is why: Cleaning was not done well, I have found previous guest bunch of hairs sticked on the wall in the bathroom which is unacceptable. I asked to bring more water twice and was completely ingnored. Important to mention that textile is old with stains on the towels, little holes on the bedding, bathrobes are just not comfy enough as you expected. Bathroom kits are just low quality as it’s 3 star, especially toothpaste.

After spending several wonderful days in Baku, I would like to praise and commend the InterContinental Hotel and the wonderful staff that works there. The employees here Very hard working to make you feel comfortable and good. Always smiling and welcoming. I would especially like to mention the talented chef Vugar Ceyhun , And the dining room staff Lamiye and lovely medina. Baku is a beautiful, clean and welcoming city. Our family vacation at the Intercontinental Baku was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is perfectly located near Nizami Street, in a vibrant and convenient area of the city.||||The rooms and facilities were spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable and safe environment for our entire family. We felt at home from the moment we arrived.||||The staff were exceptional—always polite, professional, and ready to help with anything we needed. The restaurant team was especially friendly and made sure we enjoyed every meal, even with kids in tow.||||Highly recommended for families looking for a high-quality stay with excellent service and a great location in Baku.

Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff managed by hotel manager Mr. Patrick. They have a 7th floor very comfortable lounge for IHG diamond members, and happy hour from 5:30pm with snacks and drinks.The lounge staffed by Mr. Hussain and Ms.Nicole do everything possible to satisfy your hunger and thirst along with giving you insight to the city and its history and culture. The assistant Mgr Mr. Hikmat, Mr Husain and Mr. Surcan, and Mr Amir, do a great job of organizing the front desk and restraunt service by the friendly staff of Uzeyir, Sevinj, Masuma, Tural and Mirza. Mirza in particular was very patient in explaining to me my room bill for my company expenses. And Mr Tural took time after his work to find a pharmacy with the medicine I needed. The staff do everything from Dental and Doctor appointments, to museum recommenndations and more. Luggage storage, taxi rides, walking instructions are easy just ask head doorman Kamal, he will take care of all!. The food in the restraunt and room service is excellent. The restraunt staff of Amir, Madina 1 and 2, Zaur, Nijat, Rafat,Ramil,Shala,Samir,and the always smiling Greeter Lamiya, are always attentive to there customers needs and are ready to serve you. The breakfast buffet was full of delicious foods with a great chief standing by to cook your requests. All in all a great hotel that is keeping to the standards that Intercontental hotels are known for. Thank you to a wonderfull staff that made my stay very enjoyable. Kind Regards;Steve Lundy

We wrote in advance by email to agree on a paid early check-in. We said that there would be 2 birthdays during the stay. There was no answer. Upon arrival, they claimed that we had not written anything to them, then they found our letter. They could not even check in us in an hour earlier, although the hotel was clearly not full. They charged us twice for the tax, although we had already paid it. During the stay, no compliments were given in honor of any of the birthdays, not even a small note. To summarize, the service for this level of the hotel leaves much to be desired. If we consider the room stock and infrastructure, then everything is good. The location is convenient.

Intercontental hotel Baku|Great location, excellent hotel, Staff friendly and ready to serve, Doormen willing and ready to help. Rooms well equipped, clean and have all the anemimities. Indoor heated pool and a small but sufficient gym, Great IHG club on 7th floor with friendly staff, offering cocktails, a selection of beer, and delicious snacks from 5pm to 10pm. the view of the Caspian Sea from the IHG club is beautiful.|Buffet breakfast is extensive and if you dont find something you desire there are 3 chiefs standing by to cook your request.|The staff in this hotel really makes my stay enjoyable, giving the tourist an insight to the local culture with each question you ask of them. |An excellent hotel in the city center!|If during your stay you find yourself in need of affordable and professional medical assistance I highly recommend Liv Bona DEA Hospital. The hospital covers all needs and has an international office with a fluent English speaking assistant by the name of Ms Gunel Huseynova. She can arrange all your appointments and walk you thru the hospital along with attending your Dr. visits to make sure you and you Dr. understands your medical complaints and the doctors prognosis. Ms Gunel makes your visit to this hospital hassle free quick and pleasurable. She will also assure you get all invoices and doctor reports required for insurance claims.|A truly first class hospital with first class staff!
