We’ve always loved Intercontinental properties and were excited to stay at Intercontinental Bangkok during our family trip. Unfortunately, this stay fell short of the standard we’ve come to expect. As a Platinum member, we appreciated the complimentary room upgrade. However, the experience felt surprisingly impersonal. At check-in, I was simply informed that the room had been upgraded—without anyone asking what kind of upgrade would actually suit our preferences. At a five-star hotel, I expect the staff to take a moment to understand whether we prefer a higher floor, a certain layout, or anything that would make the stay more tailored. It wasn’t that we were ungrateful; it just felt like a missed opportunity for the personalized service that loyalty status is supposed to bring. On top of that, our room had several preventable issues: wall outlets that didn’t work, a TV with no sound, and a clogged bathtub that maintenance wasn’t able to resolve. While the duty manager—especially Mint—was kind and genuinely tried to help, the repeated problems made it hard to relax and enjoy our stay. We weren’t looking for freebies or special treatment—we simply expected a smooth, comfortable experience like we’ve had at other Intercontinental hotels. The staff were warm and polite, but the room issues and lack of personalization impacted our stay more than we expected. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as we truly wanted to love this visit. Intercontinental has always been a trusted brand for us, and I hope future stays reflect the level of quality and care we know they can deliver.

Our stay was absolutely perfect—a 4-day luxury vacation that exceeded expectations. We were delighted with the upgraded room and the seamless experience throughout. Every staff member we encountered greeted us with a smile, making us feel truly welcome. Special thanks to the housekeeping team on the 26th floor for their warm and approachable service. The Club Lounge was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay. The food was genuinely delicious, and the atmosphere was elevated by the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. A special mention to Napatsawan, Sydney, and Amy for going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Thank you for making our stay memorable—we look forward to returning soon!

As someone who travels over 200 nights a year, it takes a lot to impress me, but the Intercontinental Bangkok truly wowed me. This is the first time I've returned after the renovation and ... what an amazing transformation! I would not be able to guess that the hotel is 22 years old - it feels brand new. Everything from the lobby, to the lounge to the rooms is modern, luxurious and tastefully designed. The team led by Stephen Gould, the General Manager, is phenomenal. Everyone including Guest Relations Manager Khun Rattawanee (Ice Cream) and Bim took great care of us. IHG Diamond recognition was excellent, including wonderful amenities. The club lounge is one of the best I've experienced, with excellent food and service provided, as well a some of the best views in Bangkok. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! In a highly competitive hotel market, I could not recommend this hotel more.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the experience was smooth and welcoming thanks to the outstanding team at the front desk. A special thank-you to Palm, Peachy, and Jinny. Their professionalism, warm attitude, and attention to detail truly elevated my stay. They were always ready to assist with a smile, provided quick support whenever needed, and made sure every request was handled perfectly. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but the exceptional service from the front desk team is what really makes this place stand out. Highly recommended, and I look forward to coming back!

Every time I visit Bangkok, I feel a surge of excitement knowing that I will be staying at the Intercontinental. This isn't my first stay here, and it certainly won’t be my last. The hotel consistently exceeds my expectations with superb service, amazing food, and well-equipped rooms. Its central location is a huge advantage, with a mall and other major attractions just a short walk away. The rooftop pool makes you feel like you’re at a resort, and if you have lounge access, you’ll be thoroughly spoiled! As an Ambassador member, I truly appreciate all the perks and special services that come with it. The club lounge team was exceptional, paying attention to every detail and ensuring my stay was memorable. I would like to extend my gratitude to the club lounge team: Uma, Jui, Phee, MOS, Amy, Kik, Ink, Geng, Pam, Ann, Nutty, Chef Yai, and Chef Kate. *I wasn’t asked to write this review; I simply want others to enjoy the same wonderful experience.

The Intercontinental is a fantastic property and everything was brought up to an amazingly high standard during the complete renovation a couple of years ago. The overall service level is excellent in every facet of the hotel. Food and beverage as well as housekeeping deserve awards and special accolades for being among the best there is anywhere. How do you make a great stay even better? Book a room with Club Lounge access. The lounge facility itself is incredibly modern and spacious located on the 37th floor with outstanding panoramic views of the city. But what makes the place truly special are the staff. In a recent 14 night stay I felt incredibly well taken care of every visit. But I must save my highest praise for the staff of the club lounge. Uma, Most, Phee, Kik, Amy, Ink, Geng, and Nutty were always there with a smile and ready to brighten my day. Chef Kate and Chef Yai put out superb canapes nightly that transcend traditional lounge fare. Well worth the fee to upgrade for lounge access.

We had an amazing stay at InterContinental Bangkok! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the location is perfect, everything is close by and easy to access. The service was outstanding throughout our stay. A special thank you to the porter (A) who was incredibly helpful, always smiling, and made getting taxis and settling in so much easier. His hospitality truly stood out! Highly recommended and we would definitely stay here again.

My recent stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in Bangkok was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the modern elegance of the hotel and its prime location in the heart of the city. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and offered stunning views of the skyline. Every detail, from the luxurious bed linens to the well-stocked amenities, reflected the hotel’s commitment to excellence. A true highlight of my stay was the exceptional service provided by Aon, the concierge. His professionalism and attention to detail ensured that every request was handled smoothly, whether it was securing last-minute Muay thai reservations or offering local recommendations along with securing a private driver for tour of the city. He truly went above and beyond to make my experience memorable, thank you! Another standout was Waratchaya in the Club Lounge. Her warm hospitality and genuine care made every visit to the lounge a delight. She was attentive without being intrusive, always making sure I had everything I needed while enjoying the amazing views and complimentary food offerings. Her service elevated the entire Club Lounge experience, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day. Overall, the Intercontinental Bangkok exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bangkok!
