InterContinental Beijing Beichen

Last-minute booking that was a pleasant surprise. Location was great as was visiting the convention centre, which is just a very short walk away. Hotel clean and modern. Large well appointed rooms. Comfortable bed. Very quiet and slept well. Helpful staff. Food at restaurants was reasonable. Would stay again.

The hotel staff was great! Melissa helped me with a package being shipped from Shanghai to the hotel at Beijing and really helped me. China has such nice people and this hotel proved it even more. I was going to the convention center so the location was very convenient. It’s also close to a subway entrance so you can easily find your way around town!

A pleasant stay here with good amenities such as wellequipped gym and swimming pool. Room was clean and 24 hour room service was of acceptable quality. Location was quite convienent, 30 minutes from the airport. Staff was friendly. Would recommend!

I stayed for two nights at this hotel, which has an excellent location just a 5-10 minute walk from the China Convention Centre II, where my event was being held. It's about a 30-minute taxi ride to central Beijing.||The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, patiently supporting my attempts at speaking Chinese and had good English when needed. The rooms were spacious and featured a comfy bed.||Breakfast was good overall, with one exception: there were no bananas!! This was a bit disappointing, especially since many athletes were staying for the Hyrox competition and bananas are a necessity for electrolytes. Fortunately, there was a supermarket across the road from the convention center where we were able to stock up.||I also dined at the Italian restaurant, which was excellent. Plus, there's a Starbucks conveniently located next door!

Company reserved two rooms with breakfast. I checked in on the 14th of September, and on the 16th the hotel decided to give away my room because I had no luggage inside and spent the night in another room. Instead of informing me directly, they emailed my director that they would give the room away.||Because I was not informed, I was repeatedly harassed during breakfast about which room I was staying in. This was humiliating, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable for a 5-star hotel.||As an “apology” we were offered only ≈70 USD discount, which does not come close to compensating for the stress and embarrassment caused.

My daughter & I had an absolutely fantastic time at the very beautiful Intercontinental Beijing Beichen. We spent 9 nights there, the hotel itself was gorgeous and felt so luxurious. Also, the staff were so friendly & helpful. Breakfast has a wide range of options from pancakes, pastries & cereal to a tasty Chinese breakfast. The pool area was really lovely and relaxing with a great view, particularly in the evening. This is the perfect hotel to explore the Olympic Park from, and we also took a reasonably priced taxi to Universal Studios from here. We loved the Intercontinental so much that we’re already planning our next visit! Highly recommended!

Perfect location with subway, shopping mall and convention centre connected. Special mention for the excellent club lounge and staff. What a privilege to stay with such welcoming people. Thanks Valentina! She provided excellent service.

Amelia at the reception left me standing while I was waiting for my turn and let guests who came after me and she served them. This is truly unethical and unprofessional from a hotel such as the Intercontinental. The funny is that I was staring at her looking if she gonna realize what she was doing…….but ……business as usual, didn’t even blink. When she finished serving them, I kindly told her I was standing for more than 10 mns and that she didn’t notice she was serving people that came after me, the only reply I received was: “I’m sorry “. But that will not do it. That’s why I’m giving just 1star
