InterContinental Cairo Semiramis, an IHG Hotel

I normally stay in the Four Seasons. But this is better. Quality rooms. Better security and the reception is the best I have had, the breakfast is second to none, Hanna was so welcoming. Ranadan served us on another day. He was so happy to please us. So helpful

Ramadan at the breakfast service was fantastic. He took care of me and my family group of 11 people. Very fast and efficient service. The hotel itself is beautiful. Big, clean and lots of amenties. All the staff are fantastic

Would like to thank all reception team for their hospitality during my stay, they upgraded my room to Executive suite also provide late check out. Maged & Shady desk supervisor are amazing and Ms. Nermin the Guest Relations manager always very helpful. Breakfast is delicious and chefs during the dinner also very kind. Everyone at the hotel we met provided the best service. I don`t wanna forget H.K staff special Sahar and Mr. Abdelmagid the supervisor at 8th, floor. Thanks

I was upgraded to a nice room with a river view. Front desk staff were very helpful. I paid extra for breakfast which we did not stay to eat because the dining room was so overcrowded. First, the hostess was just checking off guests names on the list and then telling everyone to go into the dining room. There were no open seats and I had to grab a table when one opened up. None of the waiters ever came by as they were too busy clearing and resetting tables. I asked a waiter for silverware and he instructed me to grab some off another table. At that point we just left and had to pick up breakfast at the coffee shop off of lobby. The previous evening we had dinner at Sabaya which is a nice outdoor restaurant. The food was good but after we were served our meal we never saw our waiter again. I had to get up and find another waiter to pay our bill. This could be a great hotel because it has a great location in the city and comfortable rooms but it really needs improvement of service.

While the hotel’s facilities are slightly dated, its prime location and stunning balcony views more than make up for it. A special mention goes to Mohamed Hassan from the restaurant department for his exceptional service and professionalism. His dedication truly enhanced our experience, leaving us with wonderful memories of our five-day stay. Thank you!

Elegant, well-run hotel. Rooms are modern with plenty of outlets to charge. Beds very comfortable. Shower has good pressure and hot water. The rooms facing the Nile can be noisy on weekends when party boats blare loud music but that's not the hotel's fault. The breakfast buffet is huge with Egyptian and western fare. You'll find plenty of delicious dishes to fuel your day. The Italian restaurant in the hotel is excellent, too. Several secure ATMs in the lobby. When you stay here you'll feel comfortable, satiated and safe.

Excellent location with great Nile and city views. Disappointing service from the reception (including management) - needs improvement. Rooms and bathrooms need attention- not 5 star quality (rust, mold?, soap scum). Food from their cafe was great.
