We had a fantastic 2 night stay here and would have loved to stay longer. We had a beautiful suite on the second floor with a huge balcony overlooking the forest. The room decor was very tasteful and everything was clean and well maintained. The staff at the property were all lovely and we also really enjoyed the restaurant. We ate in the bistro and it was very good. We'd try the other restaurant next time.

For sure this is an impressive chateaux and the arrival is swift yet perfunctory although no tour or explanation of facilities were given. ||Hire car keys constantly taken off you even if the parking lot is empty, came to be an annoyance most mornings waiting around for the keys. ||Outside of one doorman the service is impersonal or non existent due to a lack of staff. Spent 20 minutes on the outdoor terrace ignored by two waiters busy with a table of two and table of four. ||The rooms are relatively spacious if you don’t choose a regular room but overpriced particularly when there is racing on at Chantilly especially for a balcony room, rising to double the price. I paid nearly £2.5k for four nights.||Being part of the IHG means it certainly doesn’t have much French charm yet it’s also lacking 5* style American maintenance and service outside of the housekeeping. And the exterior parts that have been upgraded are not aligned with the style of the chateau. ||The elevators are tired with dull painted cream. The balcony and shared outdoor furniture needs replacing. Brick work in various places needs cleaning and is crumbling. ||Bottom line by all means it’s still a beautiful property out front, but the American chain style yet lack of American attentive service and wear and tear on closer inspection lets this place down.

What a marvelous experience staying at this Chateau in the northern Paris suburbs 20min away from CDG airport. It is situated on a hill in the middle of a lush green forest and the 360 view is amazing. The staff was excellent and the breakfast buffet was remarkable. We had a chance to know the staff and their service was excellent especially Jose, Ekatrina, and Fabrice. I for one vote the Chefs croissant the best I ate in Paris and for that comment alone, he/she prepared a fresh one for me which was superb. What’s beautiful about this place is its proximity to some of the best Sites like Chantilly, Senlis, Amiens and the magnificent Pierrefond. If you love history, you can walk in King Henry V footsteps from Harfleur, Amiens and the greatest battle between the French and English at Azincourt (Oct 25 1415). I highly recommend this getaway for its uniqueness, beauty and charm.

We stayed here expecting a 5* star experience, it was not!! The pool was out of order all the time we were here, the reception staff were very nonchalant about when it would be fixed, hardly apologetic about the inconvenience caused when this was a reason to stay here!!!|The outside terrace was very disappointing, the furniture was positively scruffy, we did not want to eat our food out there. The building looked impressive from the front but when you went to the terrace it was a shock how old and run down it looked. There were no sunbeds to sit out comfortably in the hot weather. Would have expected an outdoor pool in such a hotel but nothing to entice you to stay around the hotel during the day. Seems like the hotel was only catering for conferences and not for people wanting to visit the area. The only positives were the staff in the restaurant/bar and the staff at breakfast. The room was very clean.

I've stayed in many Intercontinental hotels all over the world and the service/experience is usually excellent.|Unfortunately it was not the case here, I'll start with the negatives.||Check in was painfully slow, it's quite a small reception area and there was always a big queue, only one person was working behind the desk. After around 15 minutes I made it to the front, there was no mention of my diamond elite status or the benefits which is usually the norm. I was quite early (12.30) so understandably the room wasn't ready.|I decided to grab a drink outside and wait. After 30 minutes, noone had brought any menus over. I managed to grab one of the waiters and asked for 2 beers. 30 mins later, still no sign. I walked to the front and mentioned to the waitress I'd been waiting 30 mins for my drinks and she could cancel the order. She shrugged and said "no problem".|It was now around 2.45pm and still no news on the room. I spoke to the receptionist, voiced my concern and she called Theo the guest relationship manager. He apologised, mentioned they are facing service issues and the staff are new.||On our last evening, we sat outside, the only free table was full of empty plates and glasses that hadn't been cleared away. I saw the same guy who forgot my drinks the previous day and asked for a menu. 15 mins later, nothing.|I walked over to the bar to explain the issue to the manager and he sorted it straight away.||Other points:|The gym was quite small and limited in terms of equipment. Also the sauna was closed the 2 days I was there.|WiFi in the room was almost unusable.|Lunch in the restaurant was average, 30 euros for fish and chips and 40 euros for truffle pasta. Both dishes were quite bland.||The good stuff:|Theo the guest relations manager was excellent.|I didn't catch his name but the bar manager was very professional.|Breakfast was decent with a good variety |The grounds and views were nice.||To summarise, most of these issues were service related and should not be present in a hotel of this standard.

We stayed in this hotel in February and it was such a magnificent and pleasant experience. The employees were very welcomed and friendly. Compliments to the Front Office (Jose) and Guest Relations (Theo) and F&B (Paul, Tahirou, Dominique and Thiemo) They made our stay more enjoyable! Thank you all for your hospitality. We will definitely return

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at, with truly scenic views. From the moment you arrive, you immediately feel relaxed. The location is also ideal, very close to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (even closer than Paris city center), making it a great spot for a peaceful getaway before heading home. The staff were incredibly genuine, helpful, and friendly, a special thank you to Patrice for his exceptional service! My only regret is that I only stayed for one night. I definitely recommend the InterContinental Chantilly and hope to return soon!

We arrived at the property around 6.30pm! Ekaterina welcomed us at the front desk and her service from beginning to end was excellent! The other girl at the desk from Estonia was great as well! (Sorry forgot her name)! Ekaterina shows us the rooms and directions to bar, restaurant and spa! Rooms were extremely clean and spacious, especially our room with great view and huge balcony, kids room was good as well! Food at the breakfast buffet and dinner at the restaurant was excellent! We did dine 2 nights in the restaurant! Pool and spa area was beautiful! The Valet Naithan was very helpful and good man! All the staff was very friendly and helpful! One of best Intercontinental we’ve stayed! Thank you! Will be back next year again!
