InterContinental Doha - the City, an IHG Hotel

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel — I spent one night and a full day, and everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. Their hospitality made a big difference and made me feel truly comfortable. The service was professional and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was warm and pleasant. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the great experience!

I had the pleasure of staying at InterContinental Doha The City for about a month, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel offers a great location with amazing views of the city, and the facilities are well-maintained and comfortable for a long stay. What really stood out was the exceptional service from all the staff – from the front desk to housekeeping, and especially the security team. Everyone was consistently warm, courteous, and helpful throughout my stay. I’d like to give special recognition to Mr. Malack, one of the security guards, for his professionalism and friendly demeanor. His attentiveness and respectful attitude added to the sense of comfort and safety during my stay. Highly recommend this hotel whether you're staying for a few days or a few weeks. I have always liked this hotel, their employees are friendly and nice. Rooms are not bad, could be better. Breakfast is amazing!! Love it. Bartender could do a better job with his drinks, i like to order the jug they have but unfortunately it’s mostly juice not alcohol which is not worth the money. It would have been my favorite hotel if they played music on the beach, had better sun beds and ice buckets or cooler with the water.

I especially appreciated the variety, including the iced coffees that were a refreshing treat. Big thanks to chef Salim for being so affable and clearly passionate about the food! A – Atmosphere & Amenities The ambiance was elegant and welcoming. One highlight is the Alladin’s Club, a thoughtful space where kids can safely play while the adults enjoy their meal..a huge plus for families! The entire setup made our dining experience more relaxed and enjoyable. V – Value for Money The experience was very much worth it. I used a voucher and also received a complimentary offer thanks to our booked room, which made everything even more affordable. Great value for a premium experience. E – Exceptional Service The staff were warm and accommodating from start to finish. Special mention to Ms. Erika, whose genuine compassion stood out…she truly cares about the guests. Ali was also very attentive and made sure we were well-assisted throughout our meal. Service really made a difference here.

I had a wonderful experience at The Square restaurant before the end of my holiday! The staff and service were excellent — warm, attentive, and professional. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend this place to everyone. A special thank you to Erika — I didn’t have a reservation and the restaurant was already full, but thanks to her thoughtful arrangement, I was able to get a seat and enjoy a beautiful breakfast with my friends in such a lovely atmosphere. Without her help, I wouldn’t have had such a great experience. Also, a big shout-out to Head Chef Salim — his service was impeccable. Even during the last call, the team went table by table to check in with each guest, which really shows their dedication and care. Thank you all for the memorable experience — I’ll definitely be back!

She was attentive, friendly, and ensured everything was perfect during my stay. Her service truly stood out and made me feel right at home. Location-wise, the hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of West Bay, with easy access to major attractions, shopping areas, and business centers. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers. Looking forward to returning soon! “Outstanding Club Lounge Service” Thinn and Parity made my stay unforgettable with their warm hospitality and exceptional service. The Club Lounge was relaxing, with great food and drinks—truly world-class!

Great Hotel with Excellent Management, But a Few Things to Note I had a very good stay at this hotel overall. The property is clean, well-maintained, and in a good location — close to key attractions and transit, though it's worth noting that there aren’t many restaurants or grocery stores within easy walking distance. What really stood out was the management. I had a concern during my stay, and they followed up promptly and professionally, which made a big difference. It's clear they care about guest satisfaction and take feedback seriously. One issue I did notice was that some staff seemed unfamiliar with interacting with foreign guests. At times, it felt like my wife and I was being stared at or watched for no clear reason, which made me feel uncomfortable. I hope management will address this through proper training, as it takes away from an otherwise pleasant experience. All in all, it's a solid hotel with a lot of potential, and I’d stay again — especially with a few improvements in cultural sensitivity and nearby conveniences.
