InterContinental Doha - the City, an IHG Hotel

Stayed there for two nights. Rooms are the Intercontinental standard. Staff were welcoming and attentive. I'd say that the location is not premium. We had two orders of room service and I was not impressed by neither the taste nor the price. One of the orders was a breakfast. Very limited variety on the Arabic breakfast compared to the price. Same goes for the breakfast buffet which we tried the last day. The restaurant atmosphere was not good. Again, I was not impressed by how the food tasted. In summary, everything was great apart from the food. Would I stay there again (that's my criterion for how good a hotel is); I may consider other options (especially considering the prices).

A special mention to Mr. Ali Fouani, the Front Office Manager, for always ensuring a smooth check-in and providing such outstanding service. Mr. Reda, the best Reception Agent, made me feel incredibly welcomed and went out of his way to ensure my comfort. Aya, the Guest Relations Supervisor, is always attentive and takes such great care of every guest, adding a personal touch to every interaction. Jasvinder Thakur, the Night Manager, is also fantastic – making sure everything runs seamlessly even late at night. The rooms are consistently spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the amenities are fantastic. Whether for work or leisure, I always know I can rely on the InterContinental Doha The City to make my stay exceptional. Highly recommend it!

As a global brand I expected nothing short of excellent accommodation and service and my expectations were exceeded in the Doha hotel!! They City views are impeccable with great facilities and amazing food. I was incredibly impressed by the staff. The professionalism and attention to detail made my stay that kich more pleasurable. Priya from reception in particular deserves a special mention as she never lets anything slip. Shes intuitive, attentive and fantastic problem solver. Her service was the reason i recommended we return on our second business stay. The rest of the staff also very knowledgeable of the area and shared some fantastic recommendations for work and play. IHG should be incredibly proud of this hotel branch!!!

A nice stay in down-town Doha on West Bay. The place is very clean and neat. Room service is daily. The convenience of being in the heart of downturn Doha, near all amenities, adds to other qualities. The person responsible for looking after room service (Ms Martha) was very helpful, polite, and professional. I really enjoyed my stay here. Thank you to all staff who made my stay here a very memorable time.

The hotel was fantastic! It was my first time experiencing this hotel, and the next time I visit Doha, I will definitely choose this hotel again. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a wonderful experience in the city. Our room was clean, and the view was awesome—you could see the whole city! The staff were friendly and warm. Whenever I had a problem or question, they promptly answered and provided great assistance

the hotel was great, I booked 3 king rooms, unfortunately the hotel was fully booked so each room was 10 to 5 floors apart. And the bathrooms have no locks. the breakfast buffet was amazing and the service is great and really fun. Although the pool is indoor unfortunately it was a bit windy. But the location is great. 10 minutes from a metro by walking and the view of our room was amazing.
