We had the distinct pleasure of residing at InterContinental Doha The City for a period of nine days with our family, and the experience was nothing short of exemplary. From arrival to departure, the level of comfort, elegance, and hospitality extended to us was consistently commendable. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, particularly for our daughter, who found immense delight in the 46th Floor Swimming Pool, which quickly became the centerpiece of her daily activities. The panoramic views, pristine facilities, and serene atmosphere significantly enhanced our overall experience. We absolutely loved our stay at The City in Doha! From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel welcome and cared for. The front desk (special thanks to Ben), the concierge, and the restaurant staff — Thet, Sudhaker, and Rushikesh — all went above and beyond to assist us. The hotel’s location is very convenient, and we thoroughly enjoyed the dining experiences: a delightful Parisian-style breakfast and excellent dinners at The Square and The Asian Kitchen. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff, and especially to Douaa Chakir, for making our stay truly unforgettable. We’re already looking forward to returning soon!

I’ve stayed at two InterContinental hotels in Doha, and this time I chose InterContinental Doha The City instead of the beachside property because of its central location. Being right in the heart of the city made everything very convenient. Room: The room had everything I needed. It was clean, comfortable, and well organized. Bed, sofa, and table were all perfect. I didn’t have a toothbrush in the room, but that wasn’t a big issue at all. Gym & Swimming Pool: The gym is excellent and definitely one of the highlights. It’s located on the 46th floor, and the view from up there is amazing, which made working out much more enjoyable. I didn’t get a chance to try the swimming pool, but it looked good as well. Restaurant: I tried the restaurant in the lobby, and it was a nice option, especially if you don’t have time to go out and explore the city. Reception & Staff: The reception staff and team were friendly, professional, and easy to deal with, which really adds to the overall experience. I stayed for two days, and it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay overall. Definitely a great choice if you want to stay in the city center of Doha.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A big thank you to the housekeeping team for keeping everything spotless throughout my stay, and to the reception staff for their friendly and efficient service. I also want to appreciate the valet team for always being quick, courteous, and helpful — they made coming and going incredibly smooth. A special shout-out to Abbas, Saifullah, and Willila for their outstanding assistance. I had an issue with the washer/dryer, and they responded immediately and fixed it right away with professionalism and a great attitude. Their prompt support truly made my stay more comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, comfort, and a team that really cares about its guests. I’ll definitely be returning!

We visited Doha to spend New Year’s Eve 2025/2026 and stayed at the Intercontinental Doha, The City hotel. It was truly a memorable stay! From the ease of online booking until our departure, we were well looked after. The front desk, concierge, Housekeeping, security, and Room service were excellent. The in-house restaurants and amenities, including the Beauty Salon, are outstanding! The entire staff in all departments was professional, polite, caring, and helpful, which made our stay even better.

Our stay at the InterContinental Hotel has been absolutely amazing. I truly love this hotel — everything about it is exceptional. The view is very cool and relaxing, the swimming pool is fabulous, the rooms are extremely comfortable, and the views are soo beautiful and the food tastes wow, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. It’s a place I would definitely recommend to everyone!!! Whenever we feel bored, we enjoy sitting in the lounge area, and that’s where Nikkole makes the experience even more special. He always welcomes us with so much warmth and kindness, receiving us with genuine care and a beautiful smile on his face. He is very friendly, polite, and always makes us feel comfortable and appreciated. Nikkole kindly talks to us, keeps the atmosphere positive, and truly brightens our time at the hotel. A big thank you to him for his outstanding hospitality — he is a true asset to the InterContinental and makes the stay even more memorable.

I had a long stay at the InterContinental Doha The City and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The rooms are spacious, modern, and extremely comfortable — offering great views and a relaxing atmosphere after a long workday. The hotel’s facilities are excellent; the gym is well-equipped, the pool area is clean and quiet, and the breakfast options are diverse and delicious. A special thanks to the Club Lounge team — Purity, May, and Apuing — for their outstanding hospitality. They truly made my stay memorable with their professionalism, warm smiles, and exceptional service every day. Their kindness and attention to detail represent the best of InterContinental’s standards. However, a few areas could use some improvement. The dinner selection at the Club Lounge was below expectations compared to other InterContinental properties I’ve stayed at — the variety and quantity of food could be enhanced to better match the brand’s premium reputation. Additionally, there were several occasions when I returned from work in the evening to find that my room had not been cleaned yet, which required me to request housekeeping service manually. Considering it was a long-term stay, I expected more consistency in daily room servicing. Overall, it’s still one of the best hotels in Doha for comfort and service, and I truly appreciate the effort of the wonderful staff, especially the Club Lounge team. With small improvements in housekeeping scheduling and evening food offerings, this hotel can easily be a perfect 5-star experience.

Fantastic experience. Staff are extremely nice. Room service twice a day and very helpful. Arif has been very responsive and attentive on several occasions. The buffet is managed extremely well and they have good variety of options, especially during the weekends. Chef has a constant smile on his face and very professional 👌👨‍🍳 Continued great and friendly service and hospitality. Morad has presented as a very resourceful person 👍 **** Update after returning to this fine establishment in Nov & Dec: I tried the 55th floor bar and it’s great. Staff very friendly and unbeatable view. It was a week day, so not sure how busy it gets during the weekends. Staff are pretty friendly and Mr. Arif keeps checking in several times a day. Doha was hosting Grand Prix for a few days and the buffet passed the stress test successfully. I’m impressed with the kitchen staff at The Square 💪
