Review – InterContinental Dubai Marina The hotel has a very good location in Dubai Marina. It is about a 10-minute walk to the beach, and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are clean and comfortable. However, if you choose a room without a balcony, the room can feel a bit humid because it is not well ventilated. The service overall is good, but you should not expect exceptional or luxury-level service. The staff are polite and helpful, but the experience feels more standard than premium. Breakfast became repetitive during our stay. Because the same dishes are served every day, sometimes the food did not feel very fresh, which is definitely a downside. During our stay we experienced an unusual and stressful situation due to security alerts in the region. At night there was an alarm, and we went down the emergency stairs ourselves. The hotel staff were there and guided guests to a safer area inside the hotel. They provided water, blankets, and pillows, which was very thoughtful and helpful. However, considering that the situation was uncertain and our flight was cancelled, it would have been nice if the hotel had shown more flexibility or offered a small discount for one or two extra nights. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The gym is quite small, and if you come to the pool later in the day it may be difficult to find available sunbeds. Overall, I would rate this hotel 4 out of 5.

A true thank you to Lance who managed to create the best experience at the hotel. He arranged conference spaces, rooms and an many last minute requests. He was responsive and informative with every reply. The staff truly make the whole experience at this lovely hotel. I've hosted 2 events 2 years apart and both times were the best experience. The hotel restaurants are great. Looking at the marina while enjoying coffee is a great start to the day. For events, they offer many space options and layouts. You have devoted conference contact that you can communicate with via WhatsApp so you do not have to leave your event. Thank you Hilal for the quick responses and assistance during our 3 days of meeting. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable and the location is convenient to shops, malls and restaurants. Would highly reccomend. Hidden gem on the 39th floor, Rex bar with a beautiful view of the gulf.

THE best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! It was so beautiful and was in the perfect location. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Peter and David went out of their way to help us with everything and were always so kind and polite. This hotel was stunning. The room had everything you’d need. Very spacious and clean. Whenever I visit Dubai I will always stay here as everything is within walking distance with a beautiful walk around the marina too. The breakfast was also very nice with a variety of food. Never tasted buffet food quite like it, there was so much flavour! Honestly couldn’t say a bad word about this hotel. Just perfect! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Popped into the hotel after a work meeting in the Marina. Found Ginter which was a small quiet bar but the welcome from the staff (Pritam) was very polite and friendly, and the service was excellent. Extensive Gin menu so indulged in a couple of cocktails which were superb. We wanted something a little more to eat than the nibbles on offer so were persuaded to go next door for the buffet. We were given a nice table outside over looking the Marina. Great food selection and was very tasty. Service again was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely pop back in if I’m in the area again.

In the current conflict situation, we felt ourself in the best place in the city. The hotel is luxury, absolut safe with the own shelter, the restaurant and the foods are huge and premium quality, the hygiene is fantastic, but the best is the hotel stuff. In this situation EVERYBODY was calm, professional, nice and helpfull, they were there for us, with all of our questions, problems, we felt ourself absolutely in good hands. Thank you Beth for your genuine goodwill and smile in the hardest moments. I recommend this hotel with full of my heart.

Our stay at InterContinental Dubai Marina was truly a five-star experience. The breakfast was outstanding fresh, delicious, and extremely clean. The variety was impressive, and everything was presented with great care. It was the perfect way to start each day. The swimming pool was simply excellent. It was beautifully maintained and offered a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere to unwind. 5 star. Overall, the service quality, cleanliness, and comfort exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Dubai Marina.

8 of us (our family) stayed in this wonderful hotel for 5 nights over New Year 25/26. We absolutely loved our stay. The hotel was modern, very comfortable with lovely rooms with panoramic views over the marina area. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the lunch menu was varied and delicious. We enjoyed the cocktail bar and especially The Groove was excellent for evening food and drinks. This was our first visit to Dubai and our only regret was that we hadn’t come before! The staff were wonderfully trained, attentive, polite and nothing was too much effort for them. It always seems a bit unfair to pick out star performers when all of them were so good but I do want to especially mention Pritam in the cocktail lounge (so polite and helpful), Mahmoud, one of the chefs at breakfast and for whom, nothing was too much effort and finally Shravana in The Groove who ran a tight ship and made our evenings so enjoyable. We are already planning another visit later this year!

They also kindly arranged a late checkout for us without any fuss to accommodate our late-night flight, which made the whole travel process far easier and much more comfortable. What impressed us most was the team’s attitude — always pleasant, proactive, and clearly committed to delivering a first-class guest experience.
