InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa by IHG

Very lovely resort with wonderful staff. The beach was why we originally picked the resort, and it lived up to the expectations. The rooms were spacious and the amenities were great. The adults only pool was nice with a beach view (best time to visit was 6am to have the pool to yourself at sunrise). The kids pool was great for younger kids, but was quite shallow if you have teens. The activity staff were fantastic with the kids and brought the vibes with their daily aqua aerobics and crab races. The buffet breakfast was awesome, great selection including fresh coconut water, omelette station and freshly cooked pancakes and waffles. The staff were lovely and welcoming (especially Mere who greeted us most mornings and Vara who helped us organise a takeaway breakfast for early checkout). Only negative was Navo restaurant. Didn't meet expectations and was the most expensive. Sanasana buffet was much better value and better quality and selection.

Been to Fiji 4 times and this has been the best experience thus far. Amenities are brilliant and superior. Rooms, infinity pool, kids pool, activities offered are all great. Nestled on the doorsteps of Natadola bay with pristine clear waters. Our teenage kids and us snorkelled, kayaked, paddle board, jet skied and swim in amazing clear warm waters. Massages on site were great but the best was our dinners, Navo restaurant was delish with Siteri and Eva being great host. Don’t forget aqua aerobics with Joe…so much fun and engaging. We had a wonderful experience at the InterContinental and would like to sincerely appreciate the entire staff for their exceptional hospitality. Chef Praneet was truly amazing — he kept checking on us to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He was extremely accommodating with our vegetarian requirements and went out of his way to prepare different cuisines in vegetarian options, all of which were absolutely delicious. His kindness, flexibility, and attention to detail made our dining experience very special and are a big reason we would love to come back again. He also ensured our favourite ginger masala tea was prepared, which was outstanding.10/10 — truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. A heartfelt thanks to Chef Imer too, who was extremely helpful and thoughtfully prepared paneer with chapati for my kids, along with a fresh salad. It was absolutely delicious and very much appreciated. Also, thank you to Vara, who was extremely kind and thoughtful. She informed us about the takeaway breakfast box for our early morning flight and kept checking on us to make sure we were comfortable, especially as we were with a toddler. Truly generous and caring service. Maleli from the Kids Club was amazing! He was so kind to explain all the daily activities and even gave us a paper listing everything, ensuring we didn’t miss out on anything and that our child and us enjoyed everything at the resort. Very thoughtful and caring service. Finally, Selena, our nanny, was exceptional. With her support, we could truly enjoy everything we wanted to do — she made our stay effortless and memorable.

Our stay at the InterContinental Fiji was truly exceptional and an incredible value. Everything felt thoughtfully priced and perfectly executed. We’ve stayed at the Four Seasons before, and there are many parallels in terms of quality, service, and attention to detail—but significantly more value, which made this experience even more impressive. The room was absolutely stunning and impeccably clean. The outdoor soaking tub was a standout perk and made our stay feel extra special and luxurious. The surrounding area exceeded our expectations—the beach, water, and natural beauty were even more breathtaking in person. We traveled as a couple and found the resort to strike the perfect balance: very family-friendly, yet easy to feel completely separated and immersed in a romantic, peaceful atmosphere. We had the buffet dinners during our stay, and they were excellent. The Indian night was especially memorable, with a wide variety of street food–style options that were fun to experience and incredibly flavorful. Breakfasts were also so good—truly a highlight of each day. A special thank-you to Amelia at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful coordinating logistics for excursions outside the resort. In fact, all of the staff stood out—everyone genuinely seemed to enjoy being there and was warm, welcoming, and kind. That level of sincerity is something you don’t experience at most resorts and made our stay feel truly special. We would absolutely return and highly recommend the InterContinental Fiji to anyone looking for a luxury experience with outstanding value.

We loved our experience staying at Fiji intercontinental resort on Coral Cost. We highly recommend this beautiful resort especially for families with children. Lots of fun activities for kids and families. Beautiful Coral beaches you can literally snorkel off the beach and see the gorgeous colourful marine life. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nice quality food menus including buffets and comfortable rooms with lots of facilities. We booked mid stay to another resort but we had to cancel and come back here since we have the comparison. Highly recommended it

We had a wonderful time at Navo! The staff couldn’t do enough for us, we felt so welcome. We are so touched by the beautiful farewell song they gave us. The food and drinks were excellent! Laimo was so sweet and took so many photos of us so thoughtfully for the sunset. Went completely out of her way! Also the sunset was out of this world - so special to eat in front of it

Our family stay at InterContinental Fiji Resort & Spa was incredibly special, and it mostly came down to the people. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, taking such beautiful care of our children and treating us with genuine warmth and kindness throughout our stay. We quickly got to know many of them like family, which made saying goodbye the hardest part. A huge thank you to Asinate, Sera, Sulu, Maraia, Bill and Rimal at SanaSana (those extra-strong coffees never went unnoticed!), and to Joe, Sam and Johnny by the pool, along with many others who made our days brighter. We would happily return for the staff alone — they are the heart of this resort.

As a globetrotting couple we have visited 132 countries, we’ve experienced many hotels and resorts similar in scale to the Intercontinental Nadi. With that perspective, here is our experience here. The resort staff are friendly and genuinely try their best to keep guests happy and comfortable. However, management could elevate the overall experience with better service standards, training, and a few simple improvements. • The outdoor bathtub only had body wash provided; bubble bath or bath salts would normally be expected. • No toothbrush or dental kit was included in the room amenities. • Buggy service was inconsistent and often inconvenient. • Our room’s alarm clock went off in the morning, likely set by previous guests and not reset by housekeeping. At Sanasana Restaurant, we were handed a review form immediately after dinner, which disrupted what had been a relaxing experience. At Navo, the fine dining restaurant, the atmosphere was noisy even during later hours. Also includes loud birthday celebrations by staff. Silverware was placed directly on the bare table, which felt unhygienic given the open-air environment. Morning breakfast was also filled with multiple birthday celebrations, which took away from what should be a peaceful start to the day. Such celebrations would be better suited for the evening. Overall, the resort has great potential, but attention to detail and stronger management oversight would significantly enhance the guest experience.
