I recently visited Sugar & Spice at InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah for lunch, and the experience was truly delightful. Although I wasn’t staying at the hotel, the warm welcome and polished service made me feel like a valued guest from the moment I arrived. The restaurant’s vibrant layout—with its open kitchens and global culinary stations—created an inviting atmosphere. I was especially drawn to the Indian food section, which I tried first. The aromas were rich and comforting, and the flavors reflected a clear attention to authenticity, even if I can’t recall the exact dishes I sampled. What impressed me most was the attentiveness of the staff. Even something as simple as refilling the complimentary water was done promptly and with a smile—no need to ask or wait. That level of service added a layer of ease and enjoyment to the meal. Sugar & Spice offers more than just variety—it delivers a thoughtful dining experience that blends international flavors with genuine hospitality. I’d gladly return for another lunch, and next time, I might just stay a little longer.

My stay at InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah was nothing short of exceptional. The room was perfect — spacious, spotless, and offered an absolutely amazing view of the city skyline. It was the kind of comfort and elegance you’d expect from a true luxury hotel. We celebrated our honeymoon here. It was a perfect experience and the staff was wonderful. They made our room all perfect and personal for us when we arrived. The room was perfect size, cleaned everyday and had everything that we needed. The spa was amazing and the massage was incredible. The hotel is located with a direct access to the mall (Pondok Indah, one of my favorite malls) which was great. It wont be the last time we visit this hotel! Huge thanks to the staff.

The Intercontinental Jakarta Pondok Indah is one of the finest hotels in all of Asia. The combination of a truly world class staff, incredibly strong food offerings, and a location and design that just invite guests to genuinely relax and enjoy. This hotel's Club Lounge is genuinely worth the extra fee to gain access. Although the staff is universally excellent, some members of the team deserve special praise; it all started with Intan, one of the managers, who genuinely cares about her guests' comfort and satisfaction. Chef Wayhu consistently produced some of the best food offered in any hotel lounge. Authentic Indonesian specialties and high-quality Western fare were on offer every night. Erico and Reza were proactive and attentive and made every guest feel welcome with each interaction. Edy was also a superstar who produced superb cocktails and mocktails with great flourish and imagination. In a world where hotel restaurants are frequently battling for the convenience crown with a myriad of food delivery options, Sugar and Spice stands a cut above. The world-class breakfast buffet is a revelation; Western, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, and Indonesian cuisine are all presented in abundance. Everything is Halal, so there are some issues of authenticity regarding the Chinese and Western options. The quality and flavor reign supreme and staff like Rizqi make the whole thing seem feel friendly and inviting. This property gets my highest recommendation.

This hotel has good service especially their staff so kind. Since at the basement the security helps me and my family to the lobby, he knows I'm in trouble with my luggage and also my kids. At the lobby the GRO greet me and assists me to the front desk, and she ask concierge staff for take care my luggage and my family during my check in. I met with Mr. Riki at front desk, and he is so helpful, he shared me all benefit that me and family can use during our stay. He also gave gift to my kids. At the room, He (Riki) still ensure all is well and I really appreciate it. And I remember Ulya and Caroline surprised my wife since the day is my wife birthday. And my wife so happy. Thank you for both of you, I'm not expect this, I thought this is my first experience during stay at the hotel with birthday surprise coming to the guest room. Thank you Intercontinental Pondok Indah, promise I'll be back by the soonest.

Great stay. Room was clean and spacious. The staff from check in, housekeeping, Sugar and Spice restaurant made you feel very welcome and their service and attitude was exceptional. Top notch. Will definitely stay here again.

I had an exceptional stay at InterContinental Pondok Indah—truly one of the finest hotels in South Jakarta. From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with warm hospitality and professionalism. The lobby is elegant and serene, setting a luxurious yet comfortable tone. The room was spacious, spotless, and equipped with modern amenities. I especially loved the large windows offering stunning views of the city, particularly at night. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast buffet was another highlight. There was a wide variety of delicious options, from local Indonesian dishes to Asian and Western selections—all beautifully presented and freshly made. The restaurant staff were attentive and courteous, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. One of the biggest advantages is the direct connection to Pondok Indah Mall, which made shopping and entertainment super convenient without needing transport. Overall, InterContinental Pondok Indah offers a truly memorable and luxurious stay—ideal for both business trips and family getaways. I’ll definitely be returning!

Very recommended to this hotel, specially the service. They go above and beyond to make your stayed very comfortable. Nice bed and great view and the location is the best, you are above 3 big shopping centre in jakarta. With restaurant and cafe , I love the lobby bar, its one of my favourite place to hang out after big walk in the shopping centre. Breakfast time its my best part of the stay, with so many different foods to choose for. Test good and fresh and they change the menu everyday. And fresh fruit juice . And the breakfast team, they always try to please you with everything you need while you have a breakfast. And to Cindy and hamdi thank you for making my breakfast time so pleasant. You guys are the best. Keep it up guys. The breakfast team have the best manager. He make sure everything goes smoothly at breakfast restaurant. It's hard to leave the hotel when you check out, but time to go home. Will comeback again definitely
