Great airport hotel, conveniently located within a 5 min walk. Staff in the hotel was very efficient and helpful. Special mention for reception desk - who enabled a very smooth check-in and gave us connecting rooms (many thanks for that), and accommodated our reservation change request due to flight re-bookings. One comment I will need to make is that we had requested for a meet and greet service as we had luggage and sometime moving across the different floors in the airport can get confusing and challenging with luggage. Despite a confirmation, there was no one at the meet and greet. Other than that one isolated incident, overall great hotel as well as restaurant.

An excellent welcoming, safe, airport hotel. The best choice here without a doubt. |We were met by a friendly porter at the airport who escorted us on the 1 minute walk to the hotel. We requested this in advance, although in hindsight it felt very easy and safe going between the hotel and the airport. |Every member of staff we met (restaurant, security, concierge, restaurant, housekeeping etc) were so helpful and so welcoming. Thank you. |We booked a junior suite - spacious and nicely presented. The common parts of the hotel are also well maintained and tasteful. The hotel is so quiet - we didn’t hear a single plane. |The concierge arranged to store our spare luggage whilst we head off on safari. |Two small observations: a heated radiator for the bathroom would be useful and the air con unit in the bedroom was quite noisy. |We look forward to staying here again in a few days, on return from safari. |Excellent service in the perfect airport hotel. We stayed at this hotel for an overnight layover. The rooms and spaces are very nice, and the pool has a great view and was pleasantly warm. Staff were very nice as well. My only complaint was really the breakfast service. We got in line for breakfast at 8:10, weren’t seated until 8:35, not served our food until 9:05, and had to rush to make our flight as a result. In addition, they missed some items in our breakfast order, but we didn’t have time address with them because it took so long. The buffet was also completely out of plates and many food items. This is all inexcusable for an airport hotel, especially one that is so expensive. Recommend staying here for the room, but skip the breakfast if you can.

Staff so helpful and friendly. Big shout out to Nhlanhla (Lucky) in the restaurant this morning. So polished and professional. What a legend. Prince on duty last night too - a total legend. We were checked in on by the duty managers also, to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Great service from this hotel.

The stay made our stay really enjoyable. They were welcoming and helpful on every aspect of our stay. Dining was excellent and well served. Booked a family dinner at the restaurant which the staff was ready and willing. Even better a doorman helped us get our luggage to the airline check in when our service did not show up.

We arrived to Johannesburg and were tired. This was the only hotel available nearby and it was a little pricey but since we were on vacation we splurged a little. From the start this hotel is amazing. Right outside the terminal, we were able to check in quickly and get a room. We got the junior suite and it was the same price as a regular room. From then on, the staff was amazing. We were able to switch $100 currency a day at the front desk as reasonable rates. The staff would come up to us and they would know our name which was trippy at first but it showed that they put an effort into knowing you. We had a small problem that they were able to fix and to us it wasn’t a big deal but they continued to make it up to us and be so kind. I never received this type of hospitality at any other hotel ever. The restaurant was amazing too and very affordable. Sinalo was amazing and informed us on the best way to eat some of the food they had. He was so kind and informative and I enjoyed the dinner he brought us. They also had very affordable room service, a pool, gym and a spa! This place was amazing and I definitely recommend staying here at least one night to get adjusted from the long travel

Food might as well have been prepared from the garbage. AC/Heating not really working in the rooms; it’s either an Arctic tundra or a sauna no in between. I would also inspect your sheets when you stay; I’m 99% sure they didn’t wash the ones in my room and just made the bed from the last guest. For the price I was hoping for far better; at this price range you might as well spend a bit extra and go to the four seasons and get true quality.

An absolutely wonderful hotel that meets your every need. The rooms are nicely appointed with luxury features that create an inclusive restful environment. I want to make special mention of the concierge Pleasure. He helped me solve several issues that arose during my trip and without his assistance I would have struggled to complete several tasks associated with my trip. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make for a wonderful stay. Thank you so much for everything!
