We had an incredible stay at the InterContinental Le Moana Bora Bora Resort. We spent five nights in an overwater bungalow, and the view from our room was breathtaking. Waking up each morning to the turquoise blue lagoon, sitting on our private deck with coffee, and watching the sunrise was pure paradise.
One of our favorite features was the glass coffee table in the bungalow that allowed us to see colorful fish swimming around the coral below. There’s even a light you can turn on at night, so you can watch the fish after dark.
The resort offers complimentary snorkel kits and kayaks, which made it easy to explore the lagoon. The buffet breakfast each morning was outstanding, with a wide variety of options including fresh pineapple, mango, bananas, and the best coconut French toast. Dinner options and desserts were equally delicious.
The location is perfect, it’s just a short walk to Matira Beach to watch the most beautiful sunsets every evening. The grounds are beautifully maintained and ideal for photos.
From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We were greeted at the airport and escorted to a waiting boat that took us directly to the resort. The staff throughout our stay was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful.
If you’re looking for a true Bora Bora experience, this resort delivers in every way. I hope we can return and visit again someday.
