InterContinental Miramar Panama, an IHG Hotel

I would strongly recommend staying at the Intercontinental IHG Hotel. The service and facility were outstanding, the breakfast buffet was amazing with great customer service by the staff. Mr. Carlos during the breakfast service was very friendly and would go around making sure everyone was ok and making you feel welcome. You can tell that he was very happy while doing his job and takes great pride in assisting guests. I would also like to recognize the staff at the SPA desk, the ladies were very good in customer service and providing information about the facility and what it had to offer. I used the facility 3 times during my week stay and it was great.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a concierge to help plan excursions and give advice on the area. A nice touch was when we asked for more coffee pods (k-cups) to be sent to the room, the front desk called to verify that we received them. Nice!! The pool was large and quiet with towels to use. The gym was huge! It had a separate area for the treadmills etc. Also, we liked that you had to scan your card in the elevator to get to your floor. Very safe!

The InterContinental Miramar was a great stay for us. We finally earned club lounge access and made the most of the experience. While all the staff was excellent. In the lounge Lourdes and Eulysses (sp?) went above and beyond. They were attentive, friendly and very helpful to us in our stay. Lourdes cooked perfect eggs for us, helped my wife as she is recovering from knee surgery and was a delight every morning. Eulysses managed the evening superbly. Saw to all the guests, but also gave us great tips on where to go in Panama City, things to do and not to do. This experience made us very happy we stayed at so many properties to gain club access. They are both great ambassadors for your program. Other factors, the room cleaning service was great. We made her job hard by keeping inconsistent hours. Fabulous pool and gym. The location is fantastic. Overall, an outstanding stay and we will be back!

We were greeted promptly at check in with a very friendly lady. Very helpful and pleasant. The room was great and had a good view. We were there for four and half days and everyone was extremely friendly. The lady that cleaned our room daily was phenomenal and so were the two ladies at the counter as you enter the restaurant. The gentleman at the bar each day also went out of his way to take care of you. Checkout super easy and quick. The food at breakfast and dinner was very good. Had buffet a couple of times and off the menu a couple of times as well. All was very good. Pool is nice and clean and was not crowded. Never saw the pool bar open though but area was still nice. Very good cocktails at the lobby bar. Used the spa and that was also a very good experience. Close to a lot of things. We walked daily to different areas within the city and always felt safe. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this hotel.

It is a great hotel in great location, prestigious and with wonderful ocean view . The breakfast buffet is great , dinner also wonderful. The seafood spaghetti was so delicious, the shrimp and seafood so fresh and tasty but not oily, it is the one I had not have before. Also. Other dishes my family ordered also had a high quality and good quantity too , the desert is very good too . We enjoyed our stay .

The property is in excellent condition. Rooms fresh and clean. The reception staff are all professional, friendly and have a warm welcoming spirit. The Club Lounge staff are quiet and silently sufficient it having all your needs without asking The gym and spa facilities are in great condition and nothing to want for. The pool area is massive, clean and well situated for single guest and families. The breakfast is extensive and great fresh quality. I must add that the female waitresses and staff are most pleasant and accommodating however, the only negative is that all three male waiters I found cold and negligent of their duties. It appears that they have been there a long time and are too casual of their duties. Whereas the female waitresses were very attentive and looked for anything they could do to assist the guest. The male waiters had to be summoned to get a coffee or refill. This was not just my personal experience but my observation of other guest

Intercontinental Miramar Panama is in a fantastic location with a beautiful ocean view. It’s also conveniently situated near great spots in the city, including the recently opened Orangetheory studio, which was a big plus for me. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to provide excellent restaurant recommendations for lunch. Their hospitality made my stay even better. If you’re looking for a hotel with stunning views, a prime location, and top-notch service, this is a great choice!

Comfortable bed, good size room, excellent views. Breakfast better than any other we have had in Central America, though not quite what one would expect in US or Europe. Windows didn't open (not unusual for a high rise). Maintenance had to be called to fix the bathroom door. Room phone was non-functional.
