InterContinental Miramar Panama by IHG

Our first time staying at this hotel and we were very pleased. The staff provided great service during our stay. They were helpful and accommodating and always friendly. The breakfast buffet had many tasty items and provided different options daily. We were upgraded to a premium King room and the beds were the most comfortable I've slept in at a hotel. This hotel is a true representation of the IHG brand my husband and I love for its luxury and quality offerings.

They made me feel pampered! The staff was kind and helpful the entire stay, every single person I interacted with. My room had a spectacular view and the images are from room 2308 which is the perfect location to see the causeway. The hotel is centrallly located between Old Town and the Convention Center Hyatt downtown area. Every staff member I interacted with was able to speak English well enough for us to communicate with my limited Spanish. My room was immaculate and I would definitely return. Special Commendations to Edwin who responded to all of my many questions in writing and verbally in perfect English. Edwin even was so kind to call me during my stay to check on me and ensure I was enjoying my stay🫠🥰 Thank you for making my first visit to Panama as a solo traveler absolutely lovely❣️

This is the second time we have stayed here and once again it did not disappoint. From the check in to the check out 5 days later everything was excellent. The staff we encountered at breakfast,dinner, lounge,cleaning and front desk were all superb. So friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is clean and beautiful. I will always stay here when I am in the city. Very convenient to shops, parks and restaurants. Book this one you won’t regret it.

Great location and views! Service was excellent and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate to our requests. Interior is extremely well maintained perhaps except for the rooms where some updating is likely due. The gym is very well equipped. There is a separate cardio room. Pool was beautiful. We had access to the club lounge and service was impeccable. Food selection and selection was satisfactory. Would definitely stay here again

What incredible people working there!!! Katherine is the hostess at the restaurant, what a kind girl!!! The waitress at the restaurant, the pool, and the front desk are amazing too!!!! Miss Rodriguez, the housekeeper (I just wrote the last name because I don't remember the name) went above and beyond!!! The ballet parking guys are amazing too!! Overall it was a great experience at the hotel!!!

We were disappointed with this hotel. I had booked a Club Level room. There was no Club check in. It took a while to check in at the main desk as there was only one member of staff present. |Our room was on the 20th floor. As soon as we stepped out of the lift the smell of damp hit us. The room was ok although it was difficult sometimes to see the view as the windows were dirty or running with condensation. Our clothes became damp in the room. The room had not been cleaned properly. We found toe nail clippings on the floor. There was little information about what the hotel had to offer. |We had access to the Club Level|Lounge which had free snacks and soft drinks all day and free alcohol from 6-8pm. It was a nice experience but like the rest of the hotel soulless and under staffed with no dress code.|Breakfast was nice. The gym ok. Predictably, I had to queue to check out and ask if someone else could be brought onto the front desk as my transfer had been waiting for some time.|I would recommend staying in the Old Town where there is more going on.

Very nice hotel. I received an upgrade as a Diamond. Nice views of the ocean and city. Excellent breakfast and restaurant with a nice little coffee shop that's kind of separate and makes a nice cappuccino. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Great staff, but the hotel needs major renovations. I am an IHG "Ambassador" member, and was told I was given an upgraded room on the 24th floor. When we got off the elevator to the 24th floor, we were overwhelmed by the smell of mold/mildew. When we entered the room (which looked like a standard room to me), the smell was unbearable. It was to the point where it could give people respiratory problems. I really could not believe that IHG would associate itself with this hotel. After I complained, I was given a very nice suite on a lower floor. The associate, Guille, ensured that I was satisfied and he was very helpful. Thankfully, we could breathe in that room. Although, even that one needed renovated and was missing standard amenities like a kettle and wine opener...I hope IHG starts paying attention to what is happening at this hotel. It really cheapens the brand.
