Me and my family had the pleasure of enjoying the buffet at the Intercontinental Muscat Hotel and it was truly outstanding. The variety of dishes was incredible, offering something for every taste. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The international selections were especially impressive, and everything was cooked to perfection. The hotel itself is perfectly located right on the beach, with a stunning pool to enjoy before or after your meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in a beautiful setting. We’ll definitely be back!

During my stay at the InterContinental Muscat, the lounge quickly became one of the highlights of my visit. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, but what truly makes this place special is the incredible team that runs it. Marian, Melissa, Anna, and Atlas are nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, I felt genuinely cared for. They have an extraordinary ability to anticipate every need — it's as if they can read your mind. Whether it’s offering your favorite drink before you even ask or simply greeting you with a warm smile that instantly makes you feel at home, their attention to detail and heartfelt service create an experience that goes far beyond expectations. What also stood out to me was how wonderfully kind and attentive they were with children. They welcomed our little ones with such warmth, patience, and genuine joy that it made the experience even more special for the whole family. It’s rare to see that level of natural kindness — and it made a lasting impression. Their kindness, professionalism, and personal touch turned every visit to the lounge into something memorable. I can’t thank them enough and will absolutely return — not just for the hotel, but for the people who make it feel like home. Highly recommended!

I recently visited Tomato Restaurant and had a truly memorable dining experience, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by John Edward. From the moment we were seated, John made us feel welcome and well taken care of. He was incredibly professional, attentive without being overbearing, and had a friendly attitude that really elevated the entire experience. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and provided thoughtful recommendations from the menu that turned out to be spot on. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely enjoys what they do, and it clearly shows in how John interacts with guests. The food at Tomato was fantastic, but it was John’s service that really stood out and made the night special. If you’re planning to dine at Tomato, I highly recommend asking for John Edward – he’ll make sure your visit is top-notch.

Throughout my stay at the hotel, I was consistently impressed by the exceptional level of service and hospitality. We love the country. |This was our third visit to Oman (staying at a different location each time). The Intercontinental team ensured that we felt at home with them and made a birthday treat, extra special. ||Many thanks to Sunni, Austen, Shamen, Wadir, Romit, Upalt, Yang, Nadeen, Jovin, Ahmed, Wiem, Saltheesh, Aramugam and Mohamed (who kept our room stocked up in water and tea) - but all the staff were helpful and enthusiastic. ||Each evening before enjoying a fabulous meal, we enjoyed a beach walk by the sea, with a beautiful sunset. |You don't need much more than this!

Thank you for the wonderful holiday and care. The hotel was great and flawless.The check- in was perfect, with very kind and professional lady providing all the necessary information.The rooms were beautiful and always impeccably cleaned.Thank you for allowing us to use the pool in the W hotel.The biggest highlight, however is the Food and Beverage department. The breakfasts were always excellent and the opportunity to enjoy the evening Iftar buffet was an unforgettable experience. We appreciate the attention and time given to us by General Manager, Executive Chef, FB Manager and the entire team. We will definitely return. Big thanks for everything.

The housekeeping team did an excellent job in ensuring everything was clean and fresh throughout our stay. The hotel’s modern design and thoughtful amenities made our visit even more enjoyable. We were also very impressed with the service—the staff was always attentive, professional, and willing to assist with any requests. Whether it was at the reception or the dining area, we always felt well taken care of. Overall, Intercity Hotel Muscat exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Muscat. It offers great value for money, a clean and comfortable environment, and top-notch service. We would definitely stay here again!

Great service - no request was too much trouble. Mohammed took time to explain the menu and provide recommendations. I enjoyed the steak - it was of top quality and cooked to perfection. The desert menu had limited selection but was sufficient. Overall, a most pleasing experience.
