We had an absolutely exceptional stay at the InterContinental Muscat from November 11th to November 17th. The Club Lounge team took wonderful care of us, showing rare kindness and genuine attentiveness. They constantly looked after our comfort and thoughtfully adapted to our dietary needs and time constraints, which truly made us feel at home. The appetizers were refined, and the cocktails were delicious and a real treat for our taste buds. At the Musandam restaurant, the chefs, especially Chef Baber and Chef Zuhair, delighted us every single day with extremely generous, diverse, international and local cuisine of outstanding quality. We will never forget Chef Zuhair’s extraordinary kindness, warmth, gentleness, and exceptional cooking, as he went above and beyond, far beyond, to meet our requests. Everything he did for us deeply touched us and truly elevated our stay. In addition, Ahmed Adel prepared our stay with the utmost professionalism, demonstrating rare attentiveness, availability, and dedication, personally supervising everything until our departure. Finally, the bedding in our room was exceptional, and the cleanliness, meticulously ensured every day by Neeraj, was remarkable. We thank him very warmly. We stayed here for 8 nights for a holiday from Ireland. Everything was superb! Fabulous location. The restaurants in the hotel are amazing. We loved Takara the Asian restaurant, the food was gorgeous here and the staff were super nice. We also loved Mynah’s Edge, the atmosphere here was great. We wanted to leave a special mention for Junaid the waiter here who was so friendly and gave us great tips and advice for travelling around Oman. Mohammed at Al Ghazal Pub was also very friendly and welcoming! Thanks for everything, we will be back!

This hotel is recommandable and a very good choice to stay in Muscat. We were there in November 2025 to enjoy a relaxing end to our round-trip in Oman. Our room with seaview balcony was very comfortable and spacious, always clean and fully equipped with coffee, tea and all other things. Many thanks to Arif for his friendly and warm behaviouer and his engagement in room keeping. The breakfast and dinner buffet restaurant offers a wide range of freshly prepared food: from many different types of bread and croissants in the morning up to many different dishes in the evening. Here, we have to thank besides the other staff especially Shyamen for his attentive and courteous service. The pool area is nice and well-equipped. Also the staff here as well as throughout the hotel were always extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The hotel is in a great location: right on the beach, it's perfect for swimming in the sea or walks along the promenade, to Qurum Beach, the neighbourhood behind it, or to the opera.

Rooms and bathrooms are nicely refurbished, service is excellent, and breakfast buffet amazing. Thankyou especially to Duty Manager Shankar for being of assistance with any concerns I had. Location is quiet, and a short taxi ride away from activities, would and shopping. Great value too.

We had a great stay at the InterContinental Muscat for one night. The room was very clean with a nice view and the overall experience was amazing. Khasim at the reception was very accommodating and made the check in smooth and pleasant. His helpful and welcoming approach added a wonderful touch to our stay. We also had a lovely evening at Trader Vic’s. The atmosphere was warm with a tropical style and the food and cocktails were enjoyable. Service was excellent and Lily took very good care of us. She was attentive, friendly and made the dinner even more enjoyable. Overall, both the hotel and the restaurant left a fantastic impression. It was a comfortable stay and a great dining experience and we would be happy to return.

Lovely 6 night stay at the Muscat Intercontinental Hotel. Great location facing the beach with the Opera House a 10 minute walk away. |We were fortunate to be staying in a club room which was very comfortable, big bed, lots of space, reasonable size bathroom and large walk in shower. |The club lounge was excellent, we had an excellent breakfast each morning, pretty much everything available for breakfast, afternoon tea was a lovely treat served daily with sandwiches & cakes, scones available on request and the evening we had 2 hours of drinks and nibbles with cold options served buffet style and a hot plate selection served directly to each person. All very enjoyable. |The club lounge staff were excellent, shout out to all the team: Marian, Melisa, Dawood, Ana and Aliya. |The pool area was good and there is a large gym. |Highly recommend a stay here, will definitely stay again if we ever return to Muscat.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the InterContinental Muscat! The club room 410 was exceptional; the sea view was breathtaking and truly made our trip special. The Queen size twin beds were very comfortable and perfectly accommodated our family with children. The Club Lounge service was superb—truly some of the best hospitality we’ve experienced. We would like to extend a special thank you to Marian, Melissa, Dawood, Analiza, and Aliya for their attentive and welcoming service. We also want to acknowledge the excellent Lobby Manager for the swift response and attention to our requests for children's amenities and the anniversary setup. We highly recommend this hotel and will certainly be returning on our next visit to Muscat!"

We visit Musandam restaurant in Intercontinental regularly, and every time we are impressed by the excellent service and the wonderful behaviour of the staff starting from Mr. Maher Al Bulushi ( the manager and his team Mr. Faisal Al Wahibi, Mr. Hudhaifa Al Bulushi (Barista), Ms. Juvin & Ms. Nadine). Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail make every breakfast experience enjoyable and relaxing. Thank you for always welcoming us with the same warmth and high quality—truly outstanding service. We really enjoying every time coming the Resturant. Today we met the new F&B manager, and he was very friendly and welcoming. A wonderful addition to the team!. Also we met Mr. Austen Reid (Executive Cheif).
