The stay at Intercontinental was a true pleasure. The hotel is very beautiful, rooms are well designed and well kept. The breakfast was incredible, highest of quality. Location is very convenient and right next to seaside. Pool, garden and gym are very nice quality. But the biggest advantage of intercontinental is its staff. Every member of staff I had pleasure to interact with, was extremely polite, helpful and pleasant to talk to. Specific shoutout to each hostess, waiter, cook, barista, roomkeeper and manager who kept everything going smoothly with highest quality to the hotel guests. And big appreciation for (please forgive me if I mixed up any names or spelling) Utali Herath, who run whole operation smoothly and always took care of hotel guests, to Veera Kumar for amazing coffee served with kindness, Nadeem Mostafa for always being welcoming and attentive, and Yanga for amazing hostessing. Big thanks too to Ayman and the cook from breakfast service whose name I couldn’t remember, and cook from Silk Road night buffet. Much appreciation for Audrey and Azzan from reception to make our stay easy and pleasant. I really appreciate all of your great work, kudos to you!

Spent 4 nights there on a business trip to Oman. The hotel was great. Used room service twice late at night and it came really quickly. The breakfast is also very good with lots of assortments and choices. Did not have a chance or time to use any of the other amenities as it was a busy stay. Location for business was great

Beautiful hotel. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The location is excellent near the opera house and boulevard shops. The service was fantastic, especially the lounge staff Aaliyah who was so helpful and kind. Overall a 10/10 recommendation.

This renovated modern hotel definitely will surpass your expectations: bright and full of air atrium, comfortable rooms, high level of all facilities, green territory with big pools, cool different restaurants. And, of course, all of these benefits are accomplished with a perfect service.|ROOMS: spacious and very convenient. Very comfortable bed, you can choose any type of pillows you want. Good-size bathroom with a shower, high class cosmetics and all necessities.|FOOD: 7 restaurants (including one with a buffet, others are a-la carte). If you‘re on a HB option, there are three restaurants available for dinner with a HB menu. You’ll find tasty dishes in every of them. I’d recommend to take HB option - it worth all the money.|FACILITIES: 1) fast and good wi-fi, 2) 7 different restaurants - tasty food and big portions (I’ve reviewed them separately), 3) different pools: big leisure one, kids, plunge pools, 3) room service 24h.|SPORT FACILITIES: 1) excellent gym equipped with literally everything (24h), 2) Padel courts (1h rent for 8 OMR incl. rackets), 3) tennis courts (free for guests), 4) plunge pool.|BEACH: the hotel offers direct access to the sea and sandy beach with palms.|LOCATION: 30min drive from the airport, beachfront.|STAFF: very friendly and polite, all of them smile and trying to make your stay very comfortable and pleasant.

This is not a 5-star hotel. More like 3-star or 4-star at best. I went for a professional massage within the hotel and was offered 'extra services'. It is completely unacceptable. Raised it with management - felt it was lip service. They know full well what is going on. 0/10 Old dated rooms that smell of damp. 2/10 Peculiar shower system. 2/10 No one offers to help with luggage when you arrive. No doorman half the time. 1/10 The club lounge is a small room. Its hardly club. Limited food offerings its a 3.5/10. Staff could be friendlier The pool has jets which aren't on or working where the kids are. There is no private beach but access to the public beach is at the back. Breakfast is average to good, about 6/10. Decent covered pool however kids occupied it in the day, when they have another pool which is better suited. It is frustrating not to have an adult only pool.

I had a wonderful experience at Treat. The food is absolutely delicious, it was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect to relaxed. What truly stood out was the service, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. A special shoutout to Romit and Rhea who went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. The friendly attitude and professionalism really enhanced our experience.
