An Unforgettable Experience of Omani Hospitality in Dec 2025 Our stay at the InterContinental Muscat by IHG in Oman was absolutely spectacular and exceeded all our expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a serene atmosphere and decor that thoughtfully incorporates local Omani craftsmanship. Exceptional Service: What truly made our trip unforgettable was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. From the moment we checked in, we were treated with genuine warmth and kindness, feeling like truly welcomed guests. The team went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met promptly and efficiently. Amenities: We loved relaxing by the pristine swimming pools and enjoying the quiet, private beach area. Delicious Dining: The food was top-notch, offering a wide variety of delicious local and international options at the breakfast and dinner buffets. The restaurant staff, particularly were attentive and ensured every meal was a wonderful experience. The Scottish Chef we met was lovely and very hospitable. Amazing service Comfortable and Clean Rooms: Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a great shower and a large, plush bed that ensured a perfect night's sleep. The attention to detail in the room's design and amenities did not go unnoticed. We highly recommend the InterContinental Muscat by IHG to anyone visiting Oman. It offers the perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and authentic Omani charm. We were sad to leave and are already planning our return visit!

We had an absolutely exceptional stay at the InterContinental Muscat from November 11th to November 17th. The Club Lounge team took wonderful care of us, showing rare kindness and genuine attentiveness. They constantly looked after our comfort and thoughtfully adapted to our dietary needs and time constraints, which truly made us feel at home. The appetizers were refined, and the cocktails were delicious and a real treat for our taste buds. At the Musandam restaurant, the chefs, especially Chef Baber and Chef Zuhair, delighted us every single day with extremely generous, diverse, international and local cuisine of outstanding quality. We will never forget Chef Zuhair’s extraordinary kindness, warmth, gentleness, and exceptional cooking, as he went above and beyond, far beyond, to meet our requests. Everything he did for us deeply touched us and truly elevated our stay. In addition, Ahmed Adel prepared our stay with the utmost professionalism, demonstrating rare attentiveness, availability, and dedication, personally supervising everything until our departure. Finally, the bedding in our room was exceptional, and the cleanliness, meticulously ensured every day by Neeraj, was remarkable. We thank him very warmly. We had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Muscat and were very satisfied overall. While the hotel may look a bit older from the outside, the interior has been beautifully renovated and feels elegant, modern, and very welcoming. The facilities are a real highlight. The padel tennis courts and tennis courts are excellent, and the pool areas are spacious, well maintained, and perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic — a great variety, excellent quality, and very attentive service. In fact, all of the restaurants were highly recommendable; we enjoyed every meal we had at the hotel. A special mention goes to the New Year’s Eve celebration, which was exclusively for hotel guests and very well organized. It was clear that a lot of thought and effort went into creating a memorable evening. Most importantly, the staff truly made the difference. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful — from the restaurant teams to the housekeeping staff. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended.

We spent a week initially only to Play Tennis. The court and Brendans coaching was outstanding. Also outstanding was the overall Service in the Hotel. Every morning we were met with the brightest of smiles, and heartfelt interactions. You did become more than a guest here. If doable, we‘ll be back. A special thanks goes out to Wiem, Loay and Jovin who were the ones with the smiles ☺️

We stayed here for 8 nights for a holiday from Ireland. Everything was superb! Fabulous location. The restaurants in the hotel are amazing. We loved Takara the Asian restaurant, the food was gorgeous here and the staff were super nice. We also loved Mynah’s Edge, the atmosphere here was great. We wanted to leave a special mention for Junaid the waiter here who was so friendly and gave us great tips and advice for travelling around Oman. Mohammed at Al Ghazal Pub was also very friendly and welcoming! Thanks for everything, we will be back!

I had a truly great experience at the InterContinental. From the moment I arrived, the warm and friendly atmosphere made me feel welcome. One of the best parts of my visit was the outstanding service provided by Manager Abdul Latheef, who is truly one of the best. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail created a memorable dining experience. The restaurant itself was amazing. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with great care. Every dish reflected quality and passion from the kitchen team. The entire staff worked together seamlessly, showing excellent teamwork and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, I was very impressed by the high standards, the friendly service, and the great team spirit at the InterContinental. This experience was one of the best I’ve had, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality.

We've had another fantastic few days in our familiar hotel. The breakfast was so extensive and delicious, everyone was so helpful, and there were delicious cuisines to choose from. Truly magnificent. The rooms were beautiful and well-maintained. The housekeeping was excellent! Highly recommended.
