InterContinental Resort Mauritius, an IHG Hotel

We stayed at the Intercontinental Resort Mauritius for 7 nights and we had a fantastic experience. All the staff were extremely helpful and genuinely friendly. This made the atmosphere welcoming and homely. There was a wide range of delicious and fresh Indian food, specially vegetarian Indian food. Vishal and Chef Surya were especially concerned with the details of our dining experience from seating to special dishes. Thank you Vishal and Chef Surya for your genuine hospitality and kindness. Will definitely recommend as being one of the best resorts I’ve been to across the world because of the staff.

We had a fantastic stay at the InterContinental Resort Mauritius. The welcome was warm, the room was spacious, clean, and offered beautiful ocean views. The resort is peaceful, well maintained, and ideal for relaxing.||The food was very good, especially breakfast, with plenty of variety. The pools and beachfront were great for unwinding, and the overall atmosphere felt luxurious yet comfortable.||The staff truly made the experience special, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Special shoutout to the managers Kevin and Abishaye. They were super professional and attentive to details.||We would happily return and highly recommend this resort.

Our stay at the InterContinental Resort Mauritius was fantastic. The room was spacious, very clean, and the housekeeping was always spot-on. The hotel’s concierge service was super efficient and always arranged taxis within a couple of minutes. The spa was great too, with really fair prices. The food options were excellent: a buffet that changes often and three à-la-carte restaurants included in the half-board plan. There are also two nice pools to enjoy. On our early departure day, the staff arranged everything: the taxi, breakfast boxes to take away, and even a buggy to pick us up from the room. The evening before, they hosted a small farewell cocktail with drinks, which was a nice surprise. We didn’t have to worry about anything and could fully relax and enjoy our time there. Highly recommended.

I stayed at InterContinental Resort Mauritius for 6 nights and 7 days, and it was an amazing experience. The views are absolutely stunning and the overall aesthetic of the property is beautiful. The lobby area is especially impressive—one of the best I’ve seen. The hotel truly feels luxurious and peaceful. The staff deserves special appreciation. From the cleaning team to the managers, everyone is extremely polite, welcoming, and always greets you with a smile. Their hospitality really makes you feel valued. The food is very tasty. I really liked Senso restaurant. Veda is a great option if you’re looking for Indian food. However, Segala is not suitable for Indian guests, as there are no vegetarian or chicken options, so I wouldn’t recommend it for Indians. Another big plus is the Boat House & Activity Centre, where you can enjoy many free activities—this is a must-do during your stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It is truly one of the best properties worldwide and a must-stay if you are visiting Mauritius.

Overall, our stay at this property was good. On the day of arrival, it was very crowded, and we felt it wasn’t private at all, but later we found out there was a party that night. We stayed for five days, and the overall experience and views were superb. The vegetarian restaurant Veda was also very good. On the first day of arrival, we found some mosquitoes in our room and the fan wasn’t working. However, after informing the front desk, we were shifted to another room within 30 minutes. It’s always good to carry anti-itch creams, sunscreen, and Odomos with you because most properties here don’t provide them. We got some harsh sun rashes me and my husband both. Service-wise, I would rate it 4 out of 5. The views are 5 out of 5. The beach vibes are amazing. There are daily activities near the pool where you can enjoy dancing, classical performances, and more. And special thanks to Suresh at the Senso restaurant was very helpful, especially since we follow a pure vegetarian diet.

We had an amazing stay at InterContinental Mauritius. The check-in process was very smooth, and the receptionist personally showed us to our room, which was a very nice touch. Everything throughout our stay was perfect. The restaurants and bars were excellent, and the all-inclusive options truly covered everything we needed. The food and drinks were high quality, with plenty of choice. The staff made our stay truly special: • Manish (Sugar Cane Bar) always had great food or drink recommendations, and we really enjoyed chatting with him. • Amit (House Attendant) surprised us every day with something special in the room and made our honeymoon unforgettable. • Sunit (Segala Restaurant) remembered who we were and what we drank after our first meeting 😊 Very kind and professional. • Rajdip always checked on us and took our orders wherever we were relaxing around the pool. • Swapnali (Veda Restaurant) was a very kind and attentive waitress. • Divya and Moupiya greeted us every day with big smiles and always made sure we had a lovely table in the restaurant. • Abha managed to serve our iced lattes quickly even during the busy breakfast rush and was always extremely kind. Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable stay. We truly felt welcomed and looked after, and we would love to return.

We had a truly wonderful stay at InterContinental Balaclava on our first trip with our toddler. The resort is fabulous, with beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities, and food that was absolutely delicious. What stood out most, however, was the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. Every interaction was marked by genuine care and hospitality. A very special mention and heartfelt thanks to Jaywantee ji and Surya ji, who went above and beyond to ensure our little one was comfortable and well taken care of. They paid such thoughtful attention to her meals, preparing simple, wholesome food with so much patience and kindness. Their personal touch and willingness to accommodate even the smallest details made us feel completely at ease as parents. We also noticed how the rest of the team was always smiling, courteous, and eager to help, which made the entire atmosphere of the resort even more welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home. Our daughter had the best time in the fully equipped play area, which was safe, fun, and perfectly designed for children her age. It gave us the chance to relax while knowing she was happy and engaged. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience for our family, and we are deeply grateful to the entire team at InterContinental Balaclava for making it so special. We will always remember this trip fondly and look forward to returning soon.

Absolutely wonderful individuals|Chef on Tandoor apologies forgot his name has exceptional culinary skills making Tikkas and Naan. His cheese naan will make you forget eating pizzas!|Lady on the Buffet reception taking care of guests greeting with her smile was wonderful |Only one concern staff on the reception named Akshae was not helpful and completely ignoring. |Overall it was great experience staying at this hotel
