InterContinental San Salvador-Metrocentro Mall, an IHG Hotel

This hotel is clean and central, but most importantly, the staff here deserves 10 stars. The front desk staff is warm, welcoming, and accommodating. The housekeepers are clean and professional and do a very good job with turn down service. Our room was cleaned everyday, there was not a time when we had to call to request fresh towels or anything. The pizza chef here at the stone oven pizza restaurant makes a phenomenal pizza! I had the 1st one on the menu after a long site seeing day, and was wowed! The doorman is polite and gentle, smiles, and greets you every single time! Nora, at the breakfast buffet, learns your name and addresses you like you are her own guest at her own home. This hotel is doing "hospitality" at its best. I've stayed at the Ritz and other fine hotels around the world, but this hotel is ready for American tourists. They have their game on point! Spend the extra money and stay here!

Would highly recommend hotel to all whom love comfort piece of mind along with lots of shopping near by and restaurants. The hotel staff was friendly and professional always with a smile. The breakfast menu was the best so many variety to show from. Please try out this glorious comfortable hotel guarantee you won’t be disappointed. It’s a five star hotel. Across the street over a walk way you can go to one of El Salvadors biggest Mall with so many store and restaurant of your picking.

Thank you very much for the super pleasant stay. Even though it was a very short stay, I was very much impressed by the positive mood of each stuff. From the front desk team to the restaurant crews, every stuff I met were all very helpful, friendly and extremely polite. Special thanks to Mr. Alber and Eliam for their "excellento" hospitality. We would like to commend Nora Hostess in the morning and Server in the Evening. Her 5 star quality of service is IMPECCABLE! Not only is she sweet nice cordial and well spoken but her attention to detail is over the top! Nora is a ROCK star a remarkable addition to your team! She is an executive leader and should not go unnoticed for how she treats your guests. Having an associate with these type of traits is rare! We would also like to commend Brenda who serves so diligently in the Club Lounge brining a warm hospitable welcoming smile and presence to all who arrive! Cannot close without noticing Flora in the Salon - who went above and beyond to help my husband Stephen & I be relaxed rested and made to feel so special and beautiful!! We experienced several not so pleasant hiccups during our multiple stays and their positive uplifting demeanor humbly serving superseded this by leaps and bounds! As an executive in the hospitality tourism industry for over 30 years these ladies stand out as your shining super STARS!! Please ensure you are taking care of them uplifting them most important equipping them with leadership skills to train others of these type skills that are so hard to find!! Hi Im business traveler that has other options to stay but I decided Intercontinental because its excellent customer service provide per its professional staff I would say thanks to every single one of them. One of the most memorable experience that convinced me to decide for Intercontinental Hotel was In the Breakfast First of all the Lady who welcomes us always with a Smile mentioning our last name very polite but friendly ( I believe Nora) after I was Seated and enjoyed my breakfast I stood up to get some fresh fruit when Nora asked me if I need anything else and “ I see you have a dessert with chia seed “ I said to her “ would you like me bring you one” she said and I responded no I just like the chia seed (Im lover of chia) she said Mr Gutierrez let me see if we have it in the kitchen if we do I will bring it for you then we extended with little conversation about the benefits of the chia seed and when I was coming back to my table after grabbing fruits ( maybe 30 seconds after Nora and I finished our conversation ) what was my surprise?…… the chia in a little container was on my table….how could do this being so fast ? My answer is a Waiter name Eliam he caught what I was asking and he did.not hesitate and brought the chia for me !!! What a great customer service I love it!!!

The satu was an absolute delight, with its immaculate cleanliness and a refreshing ambiance that instantly put me at ease. Every corner radiated a welcoming charm that made the experience pleasurable from the moment I walked in. The staff were not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a genuine smile. I can’t wait to return to this wonderful hotel for another stay.

This facility and the employees all embrace the HIGH STANDARDS of how a hotel should be ran. It takes every person employed at this hotel to work together to give me the feeling of comfort that I felt during my stay. The front desk staff was excellent and accommodating and the meals and service from the restaurant was superb. I would highly recommend this hotel for friends and family to stay at. .

The service was impeccable, breakfast wonderful. The staff learned what we liked and brought without asking. They even gave us a farewell cake! Rooms nice. Convenient to be connected to giant mall. My only criticism is you'll be staying in a very touristy location. Other than that perfect!
