InterContinental Shanghai Pudong

The reviews are all accurate. This hotel is good. Good location. Great staff. Got a suite and the lounge is indeed top notch. Asked for a late check out and they obliged with no issues at all. FYI I did get an upgrade. Which was super nice. But my review would have been the same TBH. This is a great choice.

The intercontinental Shanghai Pudong is a fantastic hotel in the heart of Shanghai. The service is top notch and among the best in Shanghai in my experience. The rooms are generally spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable and large. In room catering is superb I tried the beef with egg on rice and was told it would take 30 minutes, it came in less than 15 minutes and was delicious. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options from the region and is not to be missed. If given the chance I would recommend getting a club room with lounge access. The lounge provides a more intimate breakfast service along with afternoon tea and evening cocktails. This stay I was warmly welcomed by Tiki, Becky, Anne, Mia, Andrew, Chloe, Zoe, York, Arin, and Lily. Thank you for this wonderful stay

It was our anniversary. They upgraded us and even gave us a room number that means I love you in chinese (1520), honestly that was really sweet of them, even gave us a wine bottle as a gift. The staff is so friendly and kind. We delivered some items and they were delivered when we were out, they collected it and kept it safely with them at the lobby. Their food (we ordered it in our room) was amazing. One of the best stay I have ever had. Really recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Shanghai,

The hotel is atrium style with corridors as balconies Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Well soundproofed with huge floor to ceiling windows Bed is large and comfortable with crisp linens. Towels are big and fluffy. The bathroom is spacious but the shower head is heavy and old fashioned. The shower over the bathtub did not work Breakfast provides a massive selection of foods with good pastries and breads. Coffee is delicious and made by a barista Location is a short pleasant ten minute walk to metro Renovation work is in progress around the back of the hotel but we were not disturbed by it as our room did not face that direction

Having been staying in this hotel multiple times. Overall hotel is good but I would like to rate 5 stars to hotel club and room cleaning only. Hotel club is on 24th floor and every thing is great. Manager Lily is excellent. Andrew, Mia and Arin are amazing on their service and make people absolutely home. Cleaners on the 20th Floor are very nice too. Don’t like to having breakfast at ground floor at all.

This is my first visit to this hotel, but once I stayed I already fell in love with the hotel, the check in process with |Diana is very pleasant and smooth. During the stay the Cheif Concierge Sky and his colleague Frank gave a a lot of valuable informations which made my trip much easier.

It always feels comforting to coem back to the Intercontinental Pudogn in Shanghai. I've been coming here for over 10 years and the staff are like family and treat me like family. The easiest check in after a long flight, the best bed with the pillows that are just right and a mattress that's just the right firmess, to the team in the Executive lounge - Lily, the Manager and York, both who are professional, helpful and so friendly.|The views from the lounge on the 24th floor are great both morning and evening when the whole city is lit up . Loyal customer for 10 years and can't see it changing !

As always I had a tremendous stay at Hotel InterContinental Shanghai Pudong. The service and comfort is outstanding. The Club Lounge really delivers above expectations, with manager Lily and her fantastic team! The room is very comfortable and quiet and kept top notch by Vivi!||Thank you all of you!
