Rooms are very nice and location is great. 15 mins to shopping area and 1 min to Sofia cathedral. The staff can smile a bit more, all look very stern and serious. They are helpful but look very serious and don't come across as friendly.

had a fantastic experience. The restaurant was elegant, the food was very tasty, and the service was excellent. Everything felt five-star from start to finish. One of the staff members spoke Arabic, which made me feel extra welcomed and comfortable—such a nice personal touch! Also, the valet service was very convenient—they parked my car right in front of the hotel, which I really appreciated. Even though my visit was short, I truly enjoyed every moment. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back when I visit Sofia again!

I stayed at the InterContinental Sofia from 22–24 August and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city. Staff and service were outstanding, and as an IHG member I was pleasantly upgraded. The room was very clean, with a modern bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a great view. As a small suggestion, it would be nice if IHG members could also enjoy perks or discounts in the bar and restaurant. Overall, a fantastic stay that I would happily recommend and look forward to repeating.

Fantastic central location. Our room was large with every amenity you could wish for. The service here is so efficient and the staff so willing to help. We will definitely be returning.

Fantastic hotel, surely one of the best in Sofia. Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast is awesome (I am particularly fond of the Egg Benedict). Wifi works, and of course centrally located. Given the parking situation around the hotel, the valet parking service is extremely helpful.

The hotel’s location is simply unbeatable. Our room offered a breathtaking view of the majestic Alexander Nevsky Cathedral — truly a "wow" moment! The upkeeping of the hotel is top-notch; everything is well maintained, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. The room itself strikes a perfect balance between minimalism and comfort. The couch is cozy, and the shower is spacious and modern, with all the essentials you could need — nothing superfluous, everything intentional. Breakfast was another highlight. There’s a wide variety of options to suit all tastes, and the quality of the food was consistently excellent. Whether you’re in the mood for something light or a full spread, you’ll find something to enjoy. All in all, we had a very comfortable and memorable stay. The welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and exquisite setting make this hotel a standout choice in Sofia. Well done to everyone on the team — you’ve created something truly special!

Excellent 5 star hotel in perfect location. Clean modern quiet room. Great breakfast (yes, real fresh squeeze orange juices, bakery and espresso). Great service, kudos to manager Sedva at the front desk and service staff at the Club.

When arriving I had some complications at the suite, the room was too hot. They addressed my complaint and resolved it with an upgrade, my family had a very comfortable stay, the breakfast selection was amazing, the suite was very comfortable and service in general was great. Next time I am in Sofia I will surely stay here again
