"The Amish community lives in a town called Intercourse. You can drive around the farm, but there’s no light, the GPS doesn’t always work, and the roads all look similar, so you can easily get lost. You don’t want to drive around after 5 p.m. But they start early, by 6 a.m., they’re outside cleaning, cleaning, cleaning with the brooms that they make. You can also take a guided tour through the farmland on a buggy (AAA Buggy Rides, $18 per person)."

Yelp
Must visit spot if you are around the area and want good humor for free. The address on Yelp is currently wrong, please put "Welcome to Intercourse PA Sign" on Google Maps search. It has the correct address. Very funny name for a town. Also, watch out for the horse carriage the Amish use, please don't block their passage.

Yelp
Quaint little town in Lancaster County. So Many little shops to see for gifts, food items, restaurants, buggy rides, not to mention the Amish people who are so kind. Drivers could be much more cautious and courteous of the buggies and those on their foot powered scooters. Every time I heard sirens I just cringed, hoping everyone was okay. It should go without saying, but Please, be Very careful if following or passing them! There are many covered bridges in the county to see. There's a map avail online and at the county visitor center. We were able to find about five just using google and all but one or two we could drive through. It's a wonderful way to see the countryside too.

Yelp
I just love Pa. The cornfields, watching the Amish trotting along on their buggies and enjoying the sites. There is a place called "THE WET SPOT" I finally found it but it took me a while even with my GPS.

Yelp
The town of Intercouse is one of a kind and so much fun. Kitchen kettle village is definitely one to visit & experience. I've been to Intercourse twice, but next time I'd like to rent a cottage now that I know that's an option so I can stay longer. Everyone is very family oriented so shops closed by 6 & there isn't much to do. Great visit if you're ever in the tri-state area or Pennsylvania in general!

Yelp
My wife loves to shop this place because she is a quilter. She hunts for bargain fabrics and brought a load of it home. While she shops, my kids and I went to pet farm animals and rode the Amish Baggy ride. We did a bit geocaching in the area. We bought a gallon of kettle popcorn. There are so much to do around while wives shop...
