Airports Are Creating Inclusive Quiet Spaces Where All Travelers Can Find Calm
"For fliers who aren’t necessarily neurodivergent but are looking for a quiet place to reflect, pray, or simply escape the hubbub of a crowded terminal, there are also new relaxing options. Seattle-Tacoma’s space includes a Qibla pointer, which indicates the direction to face for Muslim prayers, as well as a kneeling prayer bench, and recessed seating conducive to meditation."
It is in a very hidden location located next to the trains that lead to different terminals. There is also no wudu station and the restrooms are very far away. The inside is clean but there was no indication of where the qibla is.
There is a kneeling prayer area which was a nice touch.

It is blessing to find a prayer area in the airport. From the departure lounge in front of Starbucks one has to take two accelerators down to get there just short of domestic exit

There is a small prayer area under concourse A, where you go down the escalators to get to the train. I'm extremely grateful to have a place to pray, while earlier I had to pray seated in a public space at the airport. I would've rated 5 stars if the carpets in the prayer room were cleaner, and if there was a wudu area.

For Wudu, head to the family restroom near Gate A2. To get to the prayer room, (between Gate A3 and Gate A4) take the escalators down to the lower level (train to Gates B, C, D, N, and S), and turn right just after the second escalator. The Qiblah direction is indicated on the ceiling, and prayer mats are available.

The prayer room at Seattle Airport is a peaceful and welcoming space for all faiths. For Muslim travelers, it offers prayer rugs and copies of the Quran, including a large edition with Urdu and English translations. The qibla direction is indicated on the roof in the far back corner of the room. Shoes and luggage storage are provided inside the room. For wudu, the regular restrooms near the A gates are available. I deeply appreciate Seattle Airport for this thoughtful provision. Small amenities like this truly enhance the travel experience.

That was an awesome experience having a prayer room in an airport. Muslims pray 5 times a day and it’s quite a challenge praying all the duties

Nice small area for prayers. No water though. It's a bit tricky to find though. It's located near the A terminal shuttle.
