Overall, I would rate my stay around 7/10. Pros: • Very close to Interlaken Ost, just beside the train station. • The area outside our room had a nice view of the river and autumn leaves, and the Swiss Alps could be seen from our window. • We had a private room for my partner and me, and the room was spacious. Cons: • No variety in the food. They served the same cold food every day, and during our 8-day stay, it never changed. • The staff were not very welcoming—possibly due to the language barrier. • The shared kitchenette was too small for the number of guests. They only provided one microwave and one kettle for the whole building, so we had a hard time heating our food because of the long line. • The elevator was not working at times.

It is a very good youth hostel. Neat and clean. You have locker inside the room. There is a bar and kitchen in the ground floor. In terms of facilities, they can improve the shower room a bit with some hangers.

The location is just 1 min from Interlaken OST, very convenient to travel around and to go everywhere with the train/bus.We book a 4 beds room - share bathroom and was huge, with a small sink inside so very nice too. The only small negative point would be that there’s no kitchen or cutlery to use. There’s a very small share lounge where you can eat and heat some food (there’s a microwave and a kettle) but nothing to cook or to use. However, I would highly recommend to stay here, staff was really nice and the breakfast quite varied.

To sum it up: the attitude of this hostel and the staff is that you should be grateful you're staying somewhere relatively cheap compared to a Swiss hotel - * not* as it should be, that they appreciate your custom. Chargers in the rooms don't work in many cases.. 1 microwave and 1 kettle for the entire hostel (4 floors, capacity of 200-300 people) in a small room, with bar stools to sit at, which was cramped and smelly in the evenings. This room is the only place other than your room where you're allowed to eat food bought outside. You're not allowed to eat food bought outside the hostel downstairs in the cafetiera/canteen area. Staff were very rude to my sister when she tried to. The canteen food is overpriced and low quality. There are also no fridges. Most hostels in most countries provide full kitchen facilities. Switzerland is exceptionally expensive and people use hostels to save money - if the hostel makes it difficult to eat cheaply, then it's not a hostel, it's a hotel with dormitories. Unlike many hostels there was also no social atmosphere, people just stayed in their groups. Would not recommend to solo travellers who want to meet people. Building itself was nice and modern. Very well located. I found staff helpful but my parents (in their 60s) found them rude when they asked with help for something.

stayed here recently and honestly, the view was absolutely stunning 🥹 it was such a great way to start each day the place was super clean and the facilities were really well maintained, which made everything feel so comfortable the staff spoke english relly well, so chenk in and getting help was a breeze 🙌 the location is UNBEATABLE! Interlaken Ost is literally right there, making it relly easy to get around Switzerland is definitely expensive but having a Coop right outside was such a handy bonus for grabbing snaks or essentials just a heads up, they close pretty early so make sure to check their hours if you plan to stop by only downside? ngl, some Korean tourists were super loud while drinking, kinda annoying at times 🤬🤬🤬 but overall? loved it insane views, perfect spot and i'm definitely coming back 🥹

Very delicious food for our included set dinner! The rooms are great considering the price. Staff are very polite. Only 1 washing machine in the entire hostel, which is a bit problematic. Excellent location near a very large train station.

We booked a 4 person room and it was wonderful, nice bunk beds, loads of storage, a table and 4x stools. We had a small toilet and shower for our room across the corridor. The room was lockable and had a lockable cupboard for valuables too.||One of the best things about the stay was the good guest kitchen and the included breakfast.||We read reviews from earlier in the year that were poor and our stay was nothing like that, we loved it.

Clean hostel with a great view facing river and train station. Has a balcony. Hostel is very near to the train station and within walking distance, also very near to the river and you can walk there to soak your feet or swim in the river. Comes with breakfast. Has a storage room to store your bags in case you are early. Only down side is that it can get abit noisy due to its proximity to the train station. Location is great, and near to numerous attractions.
