Sunday, 22nd of February 2026, my son and I came to ICB. We are from Australia, originally Indonesian, and travelling to Bangkok for our son’s stemcell therapy at BBH. In Australia, we go to Presbyterian and/or Uniting Church. ICB is pretty similar with our church in Australia, so it feels like home.
I contacted a lady prior our coming and she kindly answered me, said there will be a little stairs to go up to the hall, which will be difficult for me as my son unable to walk. He has brain injury.
That week, I had been reading about the story of Moses who followed God and lead Israelites to Canaan, but he ended not entering the promised Land because God upset to him and Israelites who always complaining and dont trust God even though they have seen and received God’s miraculous help. Then, the story of Joshua that keeps telling me to be strong and courageous strengthen me too.
I was thinking that I could just watch sermon from youtube, but my bible reading was so strong to remind me about the holy of sabath, and I could go across the country for my son’s medical treatment, why not to church? So we went to ICB. Someone else introduced us to different church about healing church but I chose ICB instead and grateful for it.
We finally went to the church by taxi but the map lead to different place, but the taxi driver was kind to help us trying to find the church.
ICB is a locely church with a lovely people. I meet a kind lady named Elizabeth, she accompanied us to 6th floor using lift, then asked some of the congregations to lift my son’s stroller up. Elizabeth introduced us to Pastor Sean who also very kind.
The songs and the song leaders, the musician and the sermon leader, I feel God presence in them, in that church. I am feeling very blessed. Also, a lady sang during the offering, keep reminding me that help comes from God.
Oh, and I believe that God’s spirit was in the pastor as what he told about Ezra, also reminded about Moses and Joshua, my bible reading that week, is so into me. Thank you so much. I am feeling so blessed.
To everyone travelling to Bangkok for leisure, , why don't you give your little time to church on Sunday, and ICB is the good choice to go.
I also met some lovely Indonesian there. So happy. They helped me and my son too. God bless you.
