International Hotel

Been it this hotel couple of times and have nothing bad to say. Price/quality what expected. Its small and placed in quiet area, location its perfect, its clean, staff is very friendly. Breakfast good enough for me.

To be honest, I trusted the renowned agency I usually travel with, so I chose the International hotel for my first visit to Rodos. And I am so glad I did! I made an excellent choice. Everything was spotless, from the little lobby and dining room to the rooms themselves! I was a solo traveller in a double bedroom - 2 separate beds, more than enough space to move through the room, and the only thing I could complain about was the small shower cabin. I could barely fit in it, but I managed. Towels were regularly changed, and I never saw the cleaning lady directly, but my room was spotless every day. I have the feeling that the entire hotel was refurbished just weeks before - the walls were clean..the floors..the furniture seemed brand new, and the dining room looks different now as well. The breakfast was fine; it was on the basic side, but it's something most of us would have at home as well. Please reset the coffee machine to make a stronger coffee! I loved the brownies and the marble cake! Finally - the staff! You were all so wonderful, very helpful, and kind. Special thanks to Giannis or Yiannis - not sure how to spell it. He was very resourceful, recommending restaurants, and we also discussed the island, the Rhodians in general. And when I read the other comments mentioning dirty rooms or cockroaches, I wonder if those people were in the same hotel! You could virtually lick the floors in the International - that's how clean they were! For me personally, it should have at least one more star! See you next year, guys!

A favourite gem in Rhodos town. Very close to everything, very quite, lovely staff, Maria is so nice! Nice bed, simple and nice breakfast (well ok, not the juice - it doesn't taste much!) |I will absolutely come again. I love this place. Thank you!

The hotel is very well situated, near Ellie Beach, Mandraki Harbour and at 10-15 min walk to the main bus station in Rhodos Town. We had a room at the 4th floor,with balcony, a small TV we didn't use, AC we also didn't use even it was free of charge , small fridge. The cleaning was done everyday, took out the trash, they changed towels when needed. Personnel is nice, especially the ones that had the morning shift, they gave us a lot of useful information about the busses. Breakfast was the same everyday, one morning we had to leave early as we were leaving for Symi island by ferry they allowed us to take some sandwiches for the road. It can get a little noisy at night, from the street, we heard it because we slept with the balcony door opened. I recommend this hotel.

Great budget hotel, clean rooms and kind staff. The rooms are a bit small but it’s okay. Unfortunately breakfast isn’t that great in my opinion.

We were lucky to find this hotel as I did remember my friends have been there last year. We supposed to stay on Hotel Hermes our short 4night stay, but because of the awful moldy smell in the room we could not stay there. High season, but nicest staff had/found one room for us. Staff is the first thing I have to say, all of them were so nice and helpful. Location is the next thing. Its close to everything yet really quiet area. Hotel is clean and simple as the room as well. Our bathroom (room201) was bit small thow. Breakfast was quite simple, but more than enough for us anyway. I would say the price/quality ratio is really good in this hotel. I do like smaller hotels so its not too many people there:) Would recommend this hotel!

After my 3rd stay at the hotel, I was completely disappointed with it.||Since I don't stay too much in a room, I have chosen this ex 2 star, now afer refurbished reception and toilets in a 3-star hotel, bearing in mind a nice quiet street and central location.||When you come for the 3rd time to the same hotel, year after year, you expect to be treated much more in a friendly way. But no, instead of a room, I was given a small cave (308 cave) which is supposed to be a „single" room. I realized that the light was lacking, so I complained at reception. After the young boss told me where the light was supposed to be (above the curtain), I found a broken BLUE bulb surrounded by dust. Like it was a blue-light district in Rhodes. The old boss was very rude in answering my complaints and didn't want to change my room - the hotel was „full", even though you could find a free room on booking.com for that night. After misbehaving of the old boss, I was proposed to switch rooms the next day. But NO, they didn't switch my room, 'cause I was asking at 3 PM, not in the morning, cleaning ladies finished their shift for that day... Lies after lies. What a disappointment.||Economy breakfast, with poor quality ingredients, smelly, soapy „ham", colored water with a scent of juice, and bad coffee. Luckily, you can find a superb bakery across the street and have a normal breakfast with pies, rolls, and superb coffee.||Old, outdated towels are replaced every 3 days.||Bed creaked every time I changed my position…|| ||Only one plug is in the normal position, which is used by the fridge. The other two plugs were in a worthless position.|| ||Some years you will pay for air conditioning, some years not, depending on the mood of the person in reception.||Some years you can pay city tax by card, the other years only in cash, on the first day.||Long story short, everything depends on the daily mood of the person in reception.||Positive things – stable TV signal (good for matches), ok wi fi, you can open window while air con is working|
