A comfortable 4 star hotel in the heart of the Recoleta district. Rooms are large with wood floors & with a big comfortable bed. Pillows are a bit small & soft. Decor is a rather bland. ||There is airconditioning as well as windows that open. ||The bathroom has a shower / bath combination with good hot water supply. There are only the bare necessaries of amenities. Bottled water you have to pay for. ||There is a TV but only Spanish speaking stations. Wifi throughout the hotel is adequate. ||Breakfast was included. The selection is adequate but nothing special. There is fruit, a small selection of cereals, scrambled & boiled eggs, pancakes & various pastries. ||Rooms are very clean and looks well maintained.

The hotel itself is very nice, however the thing that got me was the noise from the street (I had a room facing the Callao street) that is just too high and unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. You could hear a car coming from hundreds of meters on the street. So if your sleep is light, ask for a room at the back or something. The doors are also only for visual privacy, not sound as you can actually hear clearly when someone is talons a shower from the hallway. Pro: very comfortable bed, free water, big desk to work at, bigger safe than normal (to keep important stuff safe)

The room is unusually spacious. WiFi, AC work well. Shower is great although slippery, good pressure and temperature.|Bed is a large, firm king. The room has a fridge, but as noted, no coffee or tea making equipment. No view, but quiet.||The breakfast room is pleasant and the coffee is good. The buffet is vast.||The elevator system is slightly confusing.||It is not a 5 star hotel. Nor does it claim to be, but I do not understand the criticisms leveled, based on my recent stay anyway. I am not holding back.

We stayed here twice within a few days at the end of our South American tour ( with a couple of days in Uruguay in between) ...& were allocated the same triple bedded "sort of suite " ( 2 sleeping areas minus lounge ) , which was perfectly comfortable with excellent, WIDE , single beds , a SMART tv ( 1st this trip ) , decent bathroom- a bit dated , but very clean & plenty of shelf space. Public areas are impressively grand, especially the spacious foyer - receptionists were welcoming & professional - & we were glad to have help with luggage to our rooms for the first time this trip.Breakfast was very acceptable in a first floor restaurant. I would recommend this hotel in an attractive area close to the Recoleta park ...& about 12 minutes walk from the magnificent Fine Arts Museum which was one of my highlights in this pulsating city.

Not our style of hotel, a lot of shining marble and copper. No garden or pool or rooftop. Breakfast room is style seventies. We looking at a blind wall from the room while there were rooms free. Safe area but not very sexy (read: young)

Very mediocre hotel in a fantastic location . Hospitality is non existent . One hour after checking into my room I received a note under door advising I must check-out no later than 11am the following day or else I will be charged . Gracious welcome letter , right ? |I returned last night to hotel at 12:15am after dinner and no hotel employees were in lobby , or entrance . No security personnel and no reception staff . I was alarmed that anyone could walk in after midnight and have access with no hotel staff around . Unacceptable . |This morning I went to the dining room for the complimentary breakfast . I sat down and waited 10 minutes for coffee . I was finally told I had to get my own coffee. However, the coffee was cold and I told the waiter I wanted hot coffee and he replied I would have to pay for hot cafe con leche . The bellman was very cordial and polite . Comfortable bed . Very outdated bathroom . I loved the location . Nothing else .

A great location to explore Buenos Aries. The hotel is good and functional, with a gym and sauna available on the roof as well as an ok breakfast. The staff are helpful and friendly.

City hotel in good location for the Domestic Airport. Slightly dated furniture - no tea and coffee facilities. Hairdryer provided. Mini drinks fridge with a couple of bottles of water FOC which is a nice gesture.||Bathroom not good; small with limited space and absolutely nowhere to put wash bags and no hooks. The bedroom floor in our original room was all lifting making it a real trip hazard; we moved rooms and ended up next to the lift… so that was a great sound throughout our stay - NOT. Don’t accept room 1010.||Bed does not have a mattress protector/topper so sheets are straight onto the mattress! Ugh and uncomfortable. | |Breakfast ok although they charge extra for a cappuccino which is disappointing. Friendly service from the Reception and Room Service team.|Location good as can walk to La Recoleta Cemetery (10mins), eat lunch at La Parolaccia and dine in the evenings at Fervor….

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised. Great location. Small gym they claim a spa...no such thing. spa services can be arranged outside hotel though. Room is dated and bathroom is small for a 6' or taller. But all in all it surpassed expectations. Staff was very nice and price per night was not bad. It has an Italian restaurant suposed to be great. I did not try it as there are plenty of options walking distance. This is a nice area in Buenos Aires, so we wandered around to eat at other places. Good value all in all.

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel for four nights during a vacation to South America earlier this month. Buenos Aires is a beautiful city and I enjoyed my stay at the Intersur Recoleta. As you can tell by the name, the hotel is located in the Recoleta district which is a nicer part of Buenos Aires. It's close to several tourist attractions like the Recoleta Cemetary and within walking distance of the "Steel Flower". It's moderately priced and there's a great Italian restaurant on the main floor/lobby. The room I stayed in had a comfortable king-sized bed and was furnished with basics such as a desk, chair, and flat screen tv. The breakfast provided by the hotel was a little sub-par, but the complimentary Wi-Fi worked great. Other trendy districts like Palermo, Puerto Madero, and San Telmo were just a short cab ride away.

Yelp
There is a restaurant there named Marcelo. We had a very bad experience. We ordered a filet mignon and actually pointed to the plate of an adjacent patron. They brought us another steak. When we asked for the correct order the waiter was rude and had a fit. The food was very plain and overpriced. Stay away.
